The attack on Israel was so clearly UNPROVOKED by Israel, and so clearly an attack on innocent babies, women, children, and the elderly, that the Biden government and the democrats in Congress have a real problem in their support for antisemitism and boycotts of Israel.

I believe Hamas and Iran thought that Israel was so internally divided they could easily conquer the country. They were/are mistaken.
I believe that the US-led discussions between Saudi Arabia and Israel may also have precipitated this war, because Iran is seeing how the Muslim world is uniting against them. The Sunni states in the Middle East now have more in common with Israel than with Iran, which threatens them all.
In all events, the two traitorous and treasonous Presidents, Obama and Biden started this war. They have a lot of blood on their hands.

I relate with much of your comment. I too was not religious as I grew up in a non religious home. Father was an atheist and mother remains an agnostic.

There are many reasons that Jews vote Democrat. I will offer a few. 1 Jews live mostly in large cities in the US and close suburbs. The population in those places vote overwhelmingly Democrat. The Jewish people for the most part are the least religious group in the US. When people leave religion they become “liberal” or leftist. They remember that in the 50’s the anti communist were sometimes also Anti Jewish in the way that Communists blamed Jews for being Capitalist and Capitalist blamed Jews for being Communist. As you move from the bigger cities and towards religion the Jews become more conservative and Republican. I think this attack on Jews in Israel and Jews on College campuses will have an effect on Jews moving them to the right. They are also arming themselves and may have found new personal meaning in the 2nd amendment. On last comment the US military has as members Jews in the same proportion as in the US. I pray that the Jews of America wake up and realize who their friends are and also take seriously self defense.
