"Obama’s claim that every lefty idea is on the right side of history is as hollow as he is." Yep, our former leader, Little Sir Echo, is a guy who likes to hear himself talk. He has been reduced, however, to an audience of one.

Yes, the man with perfectly creased pants and no hint of Ebonics or black accent was standing naked talking to black men during this election cycle, shaming them into voting for Kamala. This time that audience was unimpressed. The man with an engineered family - the father of transgenderism healthcare - was an empty vessel pumped up with deep state hot air.

Obama has been exposed and is going the way of Bud Light.

Buh Bye Barack.

He broke every tradition. His “fundamental” change will be his legacy. And history will shame him. Now we should stone him.

Horrible Obama is a dark, broad and deep stain in our history. So is Biden and their ilk. May we honor our Father in Heaven for granting us infinite favor in the election by remaining focused on restoring our culture, our founding principles and winning souls to Christ! Thank you our Father for granting us grace and withholding your merited wrath.

Must have been a magician. The headlines of the day - all sold-out mainstream media sources - claim it was distortion from a wide angle lens. I was a dedicated photographer in celluloid and digital for several decades and I can tell you a wide angle lens doesn't distort one body that is next to another. It might bend the horizon line some but it doesn't make one person twice the size of another.

I think Obama may have reached the point where even he can’t stand to hear himself talk. He’s always relied on the media to reinforce his bs and the media is slowly riding off into the sunset. May he ride off with them as the true sheriff is back in town.

Never fear, BH. The resurgence of Mid-Century modern furnishings demands accessories. To think you could furnish an entire apartment with teak Danish Modern from Cost Plus on a Receptionist’s salary. Well, JFK economy…

I recently gifted my 14 y/o grandson with a Newton’s Harp very similar to the one on our 1961 coffee table that fascinated his dad as a kid. Those steel balls suspended by string moving back and forth by kinetic energy are just as much fun as a slinky. I was thrilled to find them still made after seeing one featured in the opening credits of Professor T on PBS, one of their most worthy series.

DEI is like affirmative action, just a different name. Affirmative action started the week after the '64 Civil Rights bill passed. A group of EEOC lawyers, led by a guy named Rosenbun, I think, wrote it into the administrative part of the law. They made it legal to discriminate against white gentiles in employment. Not Jews or anyone one else, just white gentiles. DEI is another, and more conspicuous manifestation of AA. Great work by Starbucks and millions of consumers in rejecting it. I don't think it will go away completely. The people who support it will just be sneakier, so eternal vigilance by all of us non-racialists is required.

Couldn't agree more, and I never let it pass. It always goes as follows: "Nouns have gender; people are of a particular sex, of which there are two. That sex is not "assigned at birth;" it is DETERMINED at conception, nine months earlier. You are welcome."

Saddest of all, to me, was losing once great Christian denominations to CRT and wokeness (incl’g zooming instead of meeting).

A once great great denomination, which I won’t name (Evangelical Covenant Church) created positions under the rubrick of Racial Reconciliation. (This after a previous foray into Open Borders). You get what you subsidize, and it was only a short journey to embracing CRT at the top, of which our otherwise fine minister became an evangelist.

At a gaslighting session, my question was- ‘Do you think us older white folks been living under a rock? We went thru the 60s, and the grifting Black Panthers. We’ve seen this movie before!’

Expand full comment

Steve, I served as a church planter in the ECC from 2013-2016, and I was shocked by the number of clergy and leaders who, while "evangelical" in their outreach, leaned left politically (many of them hated Trump!). I had just "transitioned" there (hah!) from the United Methodist Church, and I wanted to scream, "You're going to suicide your denomination!

Some of them have learned, but I fear that many formerly evangelical denominations are going to self-destruct just like the mainline / oldline / sidelined churches have.

We need to evangelize our churches back to God. I for one would like to exorcise the pedofile Catholic Church’s leadership and ancillary organs. They’re minions of Satan and have been for decades.

Expand full comment

Frankly I don’t trust the churches and even as a kid had a problem with the First Baptist’s ‘hell fire and brimstone’. Many of us found our way in the Bible when Jesus said, “My words are for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.” According to one’s consciousness there are many interpretations to his actions and parables. I do not fear a living, loving God who has intervened many times to save my life. For those of us He miraculously moved from death’s door, the Butler bullet had instant recognition.

My gripe with the Catholic Church is with Catholic Charities, the largest NGO resettling illegal aliens. They have warehouse size facilities close to border entries and help all comers into the USA. I sincerely hope the new Border Boss deals with all of the churches involved in subverting our laws. Catholics are only the most visible offering individual’s and caravan’s sanctuary.

Very True. God in His Son’s form, came to us and explained very clearly that we do not need to go through the “Pharisees” and “churches”. To be with God, it’s you and Jesus. I understand the reason behind congregations and the sacrament of Confession (raised Catholic). But that is a lever to keep you humble. Your relationship is direct. Each of us is a temple of God.

Same here CC, I miss not having a church family like the one I had in the way back time. We would like to find a small church where we can get to know the members, not one of those huge churches. The church I grew up in celebrated communion every Sunday and that is an important, but very limiting, feature to me.

Don, my only complaint about the article is that it sounds like a premature victory lap. But a large fraction of our country's population (not half, but at least a third) is mentally ill. They may not be in complete control of the government in January, but they won't exactly be out of power, either. As Jesus said, a house divided against itself cannot stand. High crimes and misdemeanors going on in California. Three weeks after election, one race called Wed, the other will probably called today. Both for Democrats, both the result of ‘curing’ ballots. Gray is ahead of Duarte by 194 votes after Nancy Pelosi’s daughter, Christine Pelosi, and other Democrats ‘cured’ ballots-If they’re allowed to get away with it, it becomes 220-215. IMO, if a ballot has to be ‘cured’, the voter had no business voting in the first place, and it would be marked void. Johnson has the luxury of losing 2 Rinos and keeping a majority-losing 3 Rinos gives Hakeen the majority. 3 weeks after the election.
