Not Vivek for VP for a couple reasons.

1) His wife’s my friends oncologist here in Columbus, and we need her to stay, relatively unencumbered.

2) Though Vivek went into business rather than politics, he still smells to me like a class president & national spelling bee champ, fulfilling his mom’s hopes & dreams.

Great asset though. I’m thinking Chief of Staff. He needs to be tempered by the fire of working directly for DJT.

3) But, fortunately there’s a ‘red dot’ that’s got balls and brains and inside baseball knowledge who ready to go. Tough as nails- Kash Patel.

I am with you on Kash Patel. He needs to be as close as possible to President Trump as his best Fireman putting out the blazes as they continually pop up.

Plus he knows where many of the bodies are that IC’s buried.

The first job I would give him is to make everyone of the “51” that lied about Hunter’s laptop rue the day they were born. FAFO!!

Spot on. Personal accountability needs to be returned to our government, not just reshuffling.

aBAOLUTELY CORRECT! tHIS IS THE MOST INTELLIGENT MAN ON MANY LEVELS WHO LOVES OUR COUNTRY AND HAS BEEN SPEAKING FOR AMERICAN CITIZENS FOR YEARS NOW. THANK YOU!

Kash would be great in any position, but DNI or CIA stand out. Although, I think Mike Flynn might also be good in either of those positions. He knows where the bodies are buried and who buried them.

This country owes Mike Flynn any job he chooses to want.

AMEN AND AMEN. I LOVE THAT HIS FACE NEXT TO TRUMP WOULD PUT THE FEAR OF GOD INTO EVERY EMPTY HEADED DEMOCRAT.

Expand full comment

Agreed. The left destroyed Mike financially, but he’s going to get the last laugh and be ok long term. Democrats are just so vicious, and utterly stupid.

I do not understand how people believe this is a personality contest. WE ARE AT WAR IN THE US! Is everyone on crack now?

Richard, We DO NOT need Mike Pompeo for anything, especially Sec. of State or CIA.

I vote for Kash to lead the DOJ.

I don’t know... Fetterman’s brain is healing and every day now he sounds more rational and more patriotic. His stroke may have cured his progressivism. He might be the pick😂

I don’t know what Trump will do. He understands the nature of the beast now. But he’s very unpredictable. I hope he doesn’t sabotage himself or allow somebody else to sabotage his next go round. My guess is there will be some surprises in his staffing. GOP Senators better play ball. People are not going to put up with their corrupt games again.

Vivek is still "the Apprentice", not yet ready for the main job. His potential is exciting though, especially if he gets training from the Master.

So did Bill Clinton.

Before I wised up (somewhat) I voted for Carter (& soon regretted it), and Clinton’s first term. It wasn’t so much that he talked well, it was that he could take a real question and give a real answer, unlike ReadMyLips daddy Bush.

Hi,k there, RD. Brains is Vivek and cat box chips is Obama. If Obama were stupid enough to debate Vivek, the white towel would be thrown into the ring after the first two minutes. V wouldn't even break a sweat.

Expand full comment

Agree—Vivek would easily out-debate Obama. Obama’s whole problem is that in his development years he either must not have encountered, or avoided, articulate speakers who would have challenged his Marxist BS. Marxism is a deficient system that can’t handle debate in the light of day. Hence all the censorship and a liberal populace that runs away from discussion.

He has not made his money by "government".

And, his wife is a real Doctor!!

I love the things Vivek says and the way he is not afraid to call out the press or RINOs. My hesitancy with him stems from two things. First, the way he made his fortune. It was in pharma and it was dishonest at best, if my source material was accurate and didn’t leave anything out. Secondly, I saw a video of him years ago asking Lyin’ Biden a question and it wasn’t a hostile one. So did he start out as a Dem and see the light? Is he honest? Or is he just trying to gain attention, wealth, or fame/power with his natural gifts any way he can and with anyone he can?

I did enjoy seeing him play the piano. That was honest, as it was very good but not perfect. I was impressed.

I thought Viveck's wife was a surgeon, not an oncologist.

Not that it is any of your concern, but I was replying to an earlier commenter who mentioned he didn't want to lose Viveck to DC because Viveck's wife was his friend's oncologist. I was questioning that was her discipline as I had heard she was a surgeon. You might want to dial back your caffeine consumption before you blow a gasket.

Thank You for this intelligent post. WE KNOW NOTHING about youg Ramaswamy except that he SPEAKS WELL AND CLEARLY. KASH PATEL is the most intelligent MAN OD thE DAY and would be excellent as VP, knowing the Constitution and our Government from top to bottom. I also like GENERAL FLYNN as he would keep his finger on the button of Power which would help TRUMP and show the DEMS what real power is. Trump has included eliminating the Dept of Education in his standard stump speech this primary season. He needs whoever the CEO of Ollie’s Bargain Outlet to perform the liquidation sale.

Abbott and Paxton are great, but bringing both up to the swamp might weaken Texas too much right now for the Rovians to sneak someone into the reins of power as successor.

Expand full comment

Abbot is a Bushie. He is not closing the border. He closed Eagle Pass, a small portion of the border, after FOUR YEARS. He is not deporting illegal immigrants, he is shipping them deep into our country. The "showdown" with the feds is a show to garner RINO votes this election cycle.

Expand full comment

YEP. I totally agree!! He is over 4 years late and a dollar short. I think he's using his current actions as a fundraising stunt. BUT, I'd rather have at least the appearance of closing part of the border than NOTHING at all. Sad choices.

No kidding. The single BIGLY thing he did to improve our lives was unleashing American produced hydrocarbon energy. A result of that was the Bush clan - Permian Basin guardians in Texas - lost their monopoly on LNG production which is why they are part of the Cabal to remove him. The 'cowboys' are now making a 700% increase in profits selling to Europe... Funny how the Nord stream spontaneously combusted... Not.

Expand full comment

Biden recently and seemingly out of the blue just shut down LNG production and export indefinitely.

That will not only hurt us - again, but will hurt Europe, esp. Germany as well. WTF?

Expand full comment

I think they shut down new energy, not existing.

Expand full comment

Permian Basin guardians? Tell me more, please. I was raised in the Permian Basin and never knew the Bushes to do much more than fail when they tried to strike it rich in the oil fields. Maybe they networked and gained power behind the scenes through political means?

When I say Bush, I mean the Junta that has surrounded them since Prescott was doing business with the Nazi's in the '30s. The same type of 'republicans' who just tried to impeach Paxton. Neoliberals. The entire swath is connected to Wall Street in many ways. They are control freaks(probably not W) who work to control the supply side on everything they touch. See @MikeBenz.

Expand full comment

When you truly contemplate what “environment” Trump and his new Cabinet picks will be walking into, it can only be equated to the frontlines of a “hot war”.

Thus, the qualifications any one member MUST have need to include balls of steel.

They each must have an attitude and determination that is unflinching and bordering on ruthless, as they will be pitted against the veritable gates of hell.

No room for any sort of “politician” of any sort anymore. They got us into this mess in the first place. The gloves must be off and thrown to the wind.

We need the likes of Joshua’s, David’s, Patton’s, and whoever the General was who said, “Nuts”.

Our country will be facing a whole new battle arena which will include upheaval, unrest and forces of incalculable evil fighting to prevent its demise.

There can be no room for pity or pardon or mercy. They have shown none.

We are engaged in an existential battle for the life, soul and continued existence of the American experiment.

Whoever is to be included in that Cabinet has to be fully aware of this fact, committed and resolved to that battle, and beyond courageous in seeing to it that it is won.

We’re not in Kansas anymore, Dorothy.

We are in uncharted and exceedingly dangerous waters.

The Cabinet has to reflect that reality.

Just enforce the existing laws! And throw out the lottery immigration that was started under Clinton. Was that an executive order or a law? It’s crazy to let any one person to come in not knowing their outlook on our founding principles, especially when they are from third world countries that hate us.

Suzie, great article and well thought out. I would like to add something that has been bothering me: how to get the cabinet throught the Senate; wheather it is Republican or Democrate. One thing Trump could do is appoint an Acting Director. They can serve 210 days and if the Senate still had not approved someone they could go another 210 days. I don't know anything after that but maybe Trump could pick another Acrting Direcor to go another two years.

The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops will not be friendly with Trump. Trump surely knows they are one of the biggest benefactors and promoters of the flow of illegal aliens. Only the Catholic bishops of Africa have been publicly against the NGO recruitment and bribing of their youngest and best to migrate to Europe. Over here in the west, the USCCB is paid hush money by the U.S. government for every migrant they serve.

Granted, a Catholic welcome wagon would keep the vulnerable out of the hands of sex traffickers, but the entire operation is a money laundering scheme created and operated by the criminal organization masquerading as a political party, the Democrats.
