The indictment of President Trump is hooey. Washington no more cares about national security than it cares about Poca Dot football or whether I finally am allowed by my wife to buy that Bentley.
I don’t know about the leaders in your state, but in West Virginia they stand with the people, the president and the Constitution.
Attorney General Patrick Morrisey tweeted, “Here we go again with another political prosecution. I think every American (including the other Presidential candidates) should speak out against having two different systems of justice. No double standards!”
Governor Jim Justice tweeted, “The Biden Administration and the Democrats know they can’t beat President Trump and me unless they weaponize the federal government. Democrats will stop at nothing to defeat us and keep the presidency and their Senate majority. I will always stand with President Donald Trump!”
Justice was a Democrat who supported Trump in 2016. He has switched parties and is taking on Senator Joe Manchin, D-Manchin, in next year’s Senate race. It would be nice to have both our senators put West Virginia first.
Americans know the indictment is a set-up because those are the only crimes the FBI can solve anymore. The January 6 protest became an insurrection thanks to FBI informants and maybe even agents who egged people on.
The FBI is best at covering up crimes. Consider Hillary sending state secrets while secretary of state via email to foreign governments and others who paid the troll via donations to her fake charity.
Remember the words of Jimmy the Weasel Comey, who said, “From the group of 30,000 e-mails returned to the State Department, 110 e-mails in 52 e-mail chains have been determined by the owning agency to contain classified information at the time they were sent or received. Eight of those chains contained information that was Top Secret at the time they were sent; 36 chains contained Secret information at the time; and eight contained Confidential information, which is the lowest level of classification. Separate from those, about 2,000 additional e-mails were ‘up-classified’ to make them Confidential; the information in those had not been classified at the time the e-mails were sent.”
She committed at least 110 felonies by e-mailing classified information.
Comey admitted it.
And yet as head of the FBI in 2016, he recommended against prosecuting her.
She did not store the material in her mansion for a future presidential library. No, she sold those state secrets to foreigners.
We know why Comey refused to recommend prosecution. Hillary had promised his boss, then-attorney general Loretta Lynch, the next seat on the Supreme Court when Hillary became president.
Comey’s chief flunky was Andy McCabe, who served as acting director after Trump fired Comey.
On January 29, 2018, NBC reported, “In 2015 McCabe’s wife, Jill, had run for state office in Virginia. She accepted nearly $500,000 in campaign donations from the super PAC of Terry McAuliffe, a Clinton ally and former governor of Virginia. She lost by just over 2,000 votes.”
Despite all that ethical dog-doo, Comey added McCabe to his team investigating Hillary. And by despite, I mean because. DC is the most incestuous place on Earth, isn’t it?
Speaking of incest, let us review Hunter “Had an Affair with His Brother’s Widow” Biden’s laptop. The FBI sat on it for a year on Big Bully Bill Barr’s orders. Barr worked against Trump’s re-election, even though Trump appointed him attorney general.
When Miranda Devine of the New York Post broke the story of his laptop providing evidence of selling the USA out, the intelligence community circled its wagons around Hunter the Cokehead. That shows how much the CIA and the rest love their country and how hard they will defend the Constitution these days.
On October 19, 2020, Politico reported, “More than 50 former senior intelligence officials have signed on to a letter outlining their belief that the recent disclosure of emails allegedly belonging to Joe Biden’s son ‘has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.’
“The letter, signed on Monday, centers around a batch of documents released by the New York Post last week that purport to tie the Democratic nominee to his son Hunter’s business dealings. Under the banner headline ‘Biden Secret E-mails,’ the Post reported it was given a copy of Hunter Biden’s laptop hard drive by President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani, who said he got it from a Mac shop owner in Delaware who also alerted the FBI.
“While the letter’s signatories presented no new evidence, they said their national security experience had made them ‘deeply suspicious that the Russian government played a significant role in this case’ and cited several elements of the story that suggested the Kremlin’s hand at work.”
You know who else used to call all reports of bad news Russian propaganda?
I’ll give you a hint: He died in a bunker in Berlin.
Finally, there is the traitorous chairman of the joint chiefs of staff under Trump.
On September 28, 2021, Politico reported, “The top U.S. military officer on Tuesday vigorously defended his phone calls with a Chinese general during the turbulent final weeks of Donald Trump’s presidency, revealing that U.S. intelligence officials believed the Chinese were ‘worried about an attack.’
“General Mark Milley, the chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, told members of the Senate Armed Services Committee that his two phone calls with Chinese Gen. Li Zuocheng — one on October 30 and another on January 8, just two days after a pro-Trump mob stormed the Capitol — were part of his duties to ‘deconflict military actions, manage crisis and prevent war between great powers armed with nuclear weapons.’
“The phone calls, which were first reported in the book Peril by Bob Woodward and Robert Costa, were intended to reassure the Chinese that the U.S. would not suddenly launch an attack. According to the authors, Milley — fearful that Trump could act erratically in his final days in office — told Li that he would warn him if the U.S. planned to attack China.
“But he added that he was ‘not qualified to determine the mental health of the president of the United States’ — a comment that was not included in his prepared remarks. In describing the calls, the book made references to long-running claims by Trump’s political opponents that the then-president was mentally unstable, especially at the end of his tenure in office as he was falsely asserting that the 2020 election was stolen from him.”
Milley’s January 8 call was not authorized by the defense secretary, which made it unlawful. He brazenly boasted to Bob Woodward that he defied a duly elected president and the law. He was undermining the commander-in-chief.
He should have been court-martialed and stripped of his rank, his pension and his freedom because he became an agent of Red China while serving as the military’s top officer.
No charges.
The charges against Trump are a deadly joke that signal once again the end of our constitutional republic. We are a Banana Republic now without the nice clothes for sale.
But there is hope.
Simon Ateba, our favorite African reporter, tweeted, “The indictment of Donald Trump, 2024 elections and the law of unintended consequences:
“In ancient Rome, a group of men loyal to the Republic feared that Julius Caesar was going to make his dictatorship permanent and establish a monarchy. In 44 BC, they decided to assassinate him, thereby restoring the Republic.
“In the ensuing chaos and power vacuum, Caesar's great nephew Octavius quickly rose to the top, assumed power, and permanently ended the Republic by establishing a de facto monarchy. After Caesar's death, it came out that he had never intended to create a monarchical system. The conspirators brought about precisely what they had tried to stop.
“In 19th-century India, under British colonial rule, authorities decided there were too many venomous cobras in the streets of Delhi, making life uncomfortable for the British residents and their families. To solve this, they offered a reward for every dead cobra residents would bring in. Soon, enterprising locals began to breed cobras in order to make a living from the bounty. The government caught on to this and canceled the program. The breeders, resentful of the rulers and angered by their actions, decided to release their cobras back on the streets, thereby tripling the population from before the government program.
“Other notorious examples would include the 18th Amendment establishing prohibitions in the United States in 1920, which was designed to stop the spread of alcoholism but only ended up increasing alcohol consumption by a substantial amount.
“Another example is the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor by the Japanese in 1941, designed to decimate the US Naval force in one blow and bring America to its knees. Instead, it shook the American public out of its deep isolationism, ensuring the total mobilization of the country's superior manpower and resources to not only defeat the Japanese but also to obliterate its military for good. The very success of the attack guaranteed the opposite of the intended result, Robert Greene writes in his spectacular book, The Laws of Human Nature.”
One man cannot make America great again, in fact, one-man rule would make America something other than America.
But 62 million voters can. Four years later, we were 75 million strong. Next year, 100 million.
Is been about 250 years since anyone in my family has been this angry with their government
The law of unintended consequences is busily sharpening its knives.
