Winning the woke war
Disney’s ABC attacked Ron DeSantis and other conservatives for using the word woke, in a piece headlined, “What does ‘woke’ mean and why are some conservatives using it? The definition of ‘woke’ changes depending on who you ask.”
The quote marks are unnecessary and the Oxford English Dictionary defines its current use as an adjective as, ahem, “Originally: well-informed, up-to-date. Now chiefly: alert to racial or social discrimination and injustice; frequently in stay woke (often used as an exhortation).”
But ABC insisted on bashing conservatives for using the word.
Published January 20, 2023, the piece said, “The term has since been co-opted by some Republicans as a pejorative term this midterm election cycle to signify the identity-based social justice issues that some Democrats and progressives push for, representatives from the Democrat Governors Association and Working Families Party tell ABC News.”
By co-opted, ABC means used. Apparently, conservatives are not supposed to share the same language with liberals.
The reason lefty loons hate conservatives using woke as an adjective is the backlash against woke. The left is poisoning society with political correctness, with a poison that is worse than kryptonite because it almost killed Superman. Making him gay and an illegal alien crippled the comic because readers want a hero, not a propagandist.
That is changing.
Breitbart reported, “The upcoming Superman movie to be directed by James Gunn is set to restore the ‘American way’ portion of Superman’s ages-old motto after DC Comics removed the patriotic segment back in 2021.
“As Breitbart News reported in October of 2021, DC Comics dumped the Man of Steel’s ‘America’ replacing it with ‘a better tomorrow’ by rewriting the original slogan — ‘truth, justice, and the American way’ — to read ‘truth, justice, and a better tomorrow.’”

Conservative entertainment critic Christian Toto told Fox, “The Superman motto restoration is a very minor item, but it didn't happen in a vacuum. Hollywood is slowly realizing how off-putting woke theatrics can be, and the Biden economy is making studios pinch pennies in every possible way. If that means appeasing a huge swath of comic book fans eager for an old-school, all-American Superman, so be it.”
He also said, “We also saw this in the mostly apolitical Oscars ceremony. The message is finally hitting Hollywood. Stop dividing us and take a knee in the culture wars.”
You can see why Disney is nervous. A return to normal would be disastrous for the Social Justice Warrior rats who run the House of Mouse. And so its ABC subsidiary threw shade like a solar eclipse on those who oppose the woke.
The ABC story said, “The pressure against woke-ness in Florida has already led to the apparent erasure of race-related content in education, including the rejection of an AP African American history course in state high schools and vows from college presidents against including some race-related content that covers ‘intersectionality, or the idea that systems of oppression should be the primary lens through which teaching and learning are analyzed and/or improved upon.’”
The idea that schools and universities should teach through “the primary lens through which teaching and learning” is called indoctrination.
Intersectionality is a word that means people who are superior to straight white men. You get points for being gay, non-white and female. Lori Lightfoot would be Queen of Intersectionality if only she were a tranny as well as a black lesbian.
Trannies brought J.K. Rowling, writer of the Harry Potter books, down from the wokest white woman in the world. This is the cannibalistic side of the loony left.
Wokest white woman was a title The Root — a black supremacist site — bestowed upon her on July 14, 2016, in a piece titled, “The 8 Wokest White People We Know.”

“Twitter trolls, J.K. Rowling is not here for your foolishness. The Harry Potter author (and apparent Chamillionaire fan) has used the social media platform to clap back at racist Twitter users who were mad that a black actress was cast to play Hermoine in the upcoming Harry Potter play.”
Chamillionaire is a rapper who founded a group called The Color Changin’ Click.
The Root continued its praise, “She defended tennis legend Serena Williams against body-shaming attacks.
“And when the trolls got fed up and called her out for using her wealth and privilege, she dropped a rap lyric on ’em:
“They see me Rowlin’/ They hatin’”
Now the people hating on her are LGBT Inc. The stars of the movies made from her books have turned their backs on her — likely to please the Gay Mafia that just about everyone in show biz bows to.
Rolling Stone reported, “Harry Potter is an ally. Back in 2020, when J.K. Rowling started spewing transphobia on Twitter, Daniel Radcliffe — who portrayed Harry onscreen — spoke up in a powerful letter sharing his support for trans people, calling out the author.
“Now, Radcliffe is reflecting on that decision in a new interview with IndieWire. ‘I don’t think I would’ve been able to look myself in the mirror had I not said anything,’ he said.
“Rowling’s comments at the time were both hateful and divisive for fans of the Harry Potter book series who felt identified by its characters — something Radcliffe was well aware of.”
By being unable to look himself in the mirror, the little ingrate meant get another movie gig because in Hollywood it is get woke or go broke.
Somehow, though, as a voice actor and in supporting roles, John Ratzenberger managed to become the fourth-leading actor in worldwide box office without getting woke. His success shows that there’s a lot of money in cartoons, which is why Superman is back to fighting for truth, justice and the American way.
Other men are stepping up. Goaltender James Reimer of the Bay area NHL team, the San Jose Sharks, refused to kneel before the LGBT Pride Flag and wear the Gay Pride jersey on Gay Pride night.
The Bay area affiliate for Disney’s ABC ran a story that allowed LGBT Inc. to attack him. Suzanne Ford, executive director of San Francisco Pride for said, “We have suffered under the yoke of people thinking and acting like that. And we have been afraid of it. I know it kept me in the closet, and I’m not going to stand for it. I’ll meet him wherever he wants to talk about it.”
We will see how they avenge his refusal to wear their jersey, but my question is why do we accept homosexuality as normal? Why is it considered superior to Christianity? When is the NHL’s Christian Night scheduled?
Rowling cannot go broke, so she no longer has to be completely woke. Nevertheless, LGBT Inc. attacks her as a TERF, meaning Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminist.
Her trouble began when she donated money to a group in England that opposes pretending that boys can be girls and allowing the boys to bully real women in locker rooms and such.
On June 10, 2020, Rowling published a lengthy post on her website and sent out a tweet that read “TERF Wars.”
The piece said, “This isn’t an easy piece to write, for reasons that will shortly become clear, but I know it’s time to explain myself on an issue surrounded by toxicity. I write this without any desire to add to that toxicity.
“For people who don’t know: last December I tweeted my support for Maya Forstater, a tax specialist who’d lost her job for what were deemed ‘transphobic’ tweets. She took her case to an employment tribunal, asking the judge to rule on whether a philosophical belief that sex is determined by biology is protected in law. Judge Tayler ruled that it wasn’t.”
Rowling is speaking out against a social injustice but it is not the right one.
The TERF war is among liberals, which amuses me greatly because it shows people are immaterial to these True Believers of Intersectionality. White women (seemingly, no black woman is called TERF) are disposable to the intersectionality crowd.
In the intersectional world, transsexuals — the real name for transgenders — appear to be number one, top of the list, head of the heap, king of the hill.
For now.
The pecking order of woke changes although black people always are in the top two in that order and I doubt they will ever be ousted because they are the most obviously non-whites in the world.
Well, certain black people. Larry Elder and any other conservative black is a disgrace to the race (a term I learned in 7th grade at a overwhelmingly black junior high).
ABC is woke as are all Disney products. But J.K. Rowling awakened one morning and found herself TERFed after being the wokest white lady in the world.
People are waking up to the woke game with its ever-changing rules, vigilante enforcers and lack of any respect for those who dare question their authority.
That’s not the American way. It’s good to see Superman is going back to defending the American way instead of promising a Stalinist better tomorrow.
The message to conservatives is clear. We can win these social wars. We do not have to accept the inevitability of losing our culture and heritage to people who oppose everything good about this country. Fight. That’s the American way.
You know what I wish, Mr. Suber? I wish you, along with everyone else out there who uses the term "gay" in describing homosexual behavior, would stop using that term. 'Gay' used to mean to be happy. To be use it to describe a chosen lifestyle where over 50 percent are alcoholics or drug addicts in addition to being addicted to sex defies the term 'Gay.'
I was in the hospitality field for over 40 years and I dealt with thousands of them, so there are two things I CAN say about about every one of them. They are all thieves and liars including my former business partner of six years and they love to talk about themselves and their sex lives.
I also stand by what I previously said in another article about trans athletes. They are nothing but homosexuals crying for attention since they can't compete at their own level because they can't win.
The truest definition of “Woke” is calling Good Evil and Evil Good.
It is a psy-op designed to capture your mind, and using language is the first and most essential tool in “converting” you into their game.
It started with the hugely successful art of PC, “political correctness”, whereby they managed to get an individual to “self-censor” their own use of language, in order “not to offend”. That has mushroomed into the force feeding of such absurdities as the use of a person’s “preferred pronouns” and submitting to the lie that there are more than two genders.
In other words, (no pun intended) once you comply with their language parameters now they’ve got you, and have hooked you up to their electrodes in their effort to fully invade and capture your mind.
That is why the first act of ours in this War must needs be - and make no mistake it is a war as lives are at stake - is to refuse to comply with their language. Call a “he” a “he” and a “she” a “she”, no matter how much they stomp their feet. Never budge from the indisputable fact that there are only two genders. Resist all PC as a Warrior, because that’s what we are, no matter who or how much it offends. Correct your children when they become prey to it. Stop it in its tracks. It is an insidious poison, designed to twist and torture the truth.
