Republicans rejoice. NBC reported, “Bud Light sales continue to plummet over Mulvaney backlash.”
Dylan Mulvaney is a failed actor who pretended to transform himself into a girl. He lifted this idea from Tootsie, a 40-year-old movie in which a failed actor becomes a fake actress and becomes a success. In Mister Mulvaney’s case this has led to a bonanza of product endorsements as marketing executives see T-girls — men who pretend to be girls — as the Next Big Thing.
Oh it is, dear readers. Oh it is. It is the Next Big Thing for Republicans because trannies are now ballot box poison.
The NBC story said, “Sales of Bud Light continue to plummet, reflecting ongoing backlash to the brand's decision to hire transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney as a spokesperson.
“According to data cited by the beverage industry trade publication Beer Business Daily, sales volumes of Bud Light for the week ending May 13 sank 28.4%, extending a downward trend from the 27.7% decline seen the week before.”
Anheuser-Busch distributors stand to lose millions, including Cindy McCain’s Hensley Beverage Company in Phoenix, Arizona.
Beer Business Daily editor and publisher Harry Schuhmacher told NBC, “It just seems like an unlucky draw. The timing and the zeitgeist and the divided environment all combined to create this unbelievable boycott that nobody could have anticipated.”
Nobody? I guess I am a nobody because the first thing I thought when I saw the campaign was there goes Bud Light because it just insulted its customer base.
Maybe sales will bottom out with a total drop of only 30% but there are not enough trannies to make Bud Light No. 1 again because the message of the Mulvaney campaign was this Bud’s not for you.
Wall Street senses this.
NBC report also said, “AB InBev shares have fallen more than 10% since Mulvaney's social media post went live. In a note to clients published Tuesday, JPMorgan analysts said that even if the decline in Bud Light sales stabilizes, ‘We believe there is a subset [of] American consumers who will not drink Bud Light for the foreseeable future.’”
Foreseeable future means forever.
(As Andy Rooney might ask, “Ever notice that all the trannies in ads are men pretending to be women and not women pretending to be men?”)
Blame for Bud Light’s plunging sales on Alissa Heinerscheid, the Ivy Leaguer who bragged about becoming the first woman vice president of beer, as she put it. Her MBA from the Wharton School of Business does not give her cuts in the unemployment line.
She failed to do her homework. Everyone in the media accepts T-girls. The media uses the preferred pronouns (except when one of them shoots and kills 3 students and 3 staffers at a Christian school in Nashville). Therefore, Heinerscheid just assumed guys being girls is accepted by everyone.
After all, her alma mater — Penn — has William Thomas on its women’s swim team.
However, the public has not accepted all the tranny propaganda.
Pew Research found that 60% of Americans say sex is determined by biology (or as Pew called it “sex assigned at birth”). That is up from 54% in 2017.
While Americans are tolerant of adults pretending to be another sex, the message is clear: Don’t mess with kids.
The Washington Post owned by Jeff Bezos reported on May 5, “Clear majorities of Americans support restrictions affecting transgender children, a Washington Post-KFF poll finds, offering political jet fuel for Republicans in statehouses and Congress who are pushing measures restricting curriculum, sports participation and medical care.
“Most Americans don’t believe it’s even possible to be a gender that differs from that assigned at birth. A 57% majority of adults said a person’s gender is determined from the start, with 43% saying it can differ.”
Republicans are winning on this issue. The Bezos Post quoted Alyssa Wells, 29, a behavior therapist in Daytona Beach, Florida.
She said, “At first I was on the side of acceptance, like using the pronouns and stuff, because I want people to be kind to each other. I don’t want people fighting all the time. My concern with transgender is mostly with the children.”
“We can’t vote until we’re a certain age, we can’t smoke, drink or whatever, but we can change our bodies’ anatomy and how it works? It just doesn’t seem like that’s okay to me.”
The public also is not accepting T-girls in women’s sports. The Bezos Post poll found two-thirds of Americans oppose having a bunch of bullies who failed in men’s sports take over women’s sports.
The Bezos Post said, “21 states have passed laws that bar transgender athletes from participating in sports that do not match their sex assigned at birth, according to the Movement Advancement Project, a research group that supports LGBTQ rights.”
Assigned at birth is factually incorrect. Sex is determined at conception — and assigned by God.
The media is misreading the rebellion against the tranny tyranny in which the movement demands that we all pretend they can change their sexes and that drag queens should twerk in front of kids.
Jim Saksa of Roll Call wrote on March 31, “The Republican preoccupation with transgender issues, which has resulted in hundreds of bills at the state and federal levels, may excite the party’s evangelical base. But analysts say all that enthusiasm for restricting the rights and health care of about 0.6 percent of Americans risks putting off swing voters.
“Pollsters and strategists from both parties largely agree: Focusing on transgender issues could help Republicans in the general election if independent voters see the GOP as defending commonsense school policies from ‘woke’ gender ideology run amok. Or it could end up hurting Republicans if voters think they’re just picking on a small, misunderstood set of individuals simply trying to live their lives.”
But trannies already decided a couple of gubernatorial races. Republican Glenn Youngkin won the 2021 race in Virginia in an upset after his Democrat opponent — former governor Terry McAuliffe — sided with a school board that covered up a rape in the girl’s john by a boy in a dress.
A year later, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis championed a ban on LGBT teachers grooming prepubescent children. That resulted in a 19-point blowout re-election victory for him after barely getting elected in 2018.
While Roll Call’s headline called the tranny issue a “Republican fixation,” the fact is Democrats are fixated on pronouns and the like. If protecting kids from harm in school is a fixation, then more people need to be fixated.
Republicans need to accept reality. Protecting women and children from men in women’s clothing is a winning issue. Chivalry is not dead.
Scripps News reported on May 3, “More Americans support than oppose laws aimed at restricting transgender care for minors, and a majority favor banning transgender women in sports, according to a Scripps News/YouGov poll released Wednesday.
“More than 4 in 10 Americans (44%) say they support ‘laws that would restrict and, or ban transgender care for minors, even with parents’ consent,’ in their state. 34% say they oppose such measures.”
Republicans keep telling conservatives they cannot win on social issues. Oh? Then why do Democrats win on social issues?
Because they stand for something and fight for it!
I can't answer your survey today. I despise both answers.
