To answer your question abut unnecessary procedures…My stepmother was dying from end stage COPD when she fell and broke her hip. Surgeons put her through hip surgery and a week late she drowned from the fluid in her lungs which was a result of the surgery.
I have a friend who is a respiratory therapist and I asked her why they performed the surgery when they knew that she was dying. She said, “$urgeons like to cut.” So, it’s not just tranny procedures which are lining their pockets.

To answer your question abut unnecessary procedures…My stepmother was dying from end stage COPD when she fell and broke her hip. Surgeons put her through hip surgery and a week late she drowned from the fluid in her lungs which was a result of the surgery.
I have a friend who is a respiratory therapist and I asked her why they performed the surgery when they knew that she was dying. She said, “$urgeons like to cut.” So, it’s not just tranny procedures which are lining their pockets.
To a surgeon, an operation is a nail and they are the hammer. You have to be careful and be your own advocate. It is a problem with all areas of medicine.

Mark, who to date has spent $10 million defending himself, made Mann admit (what Steyn knew or he wouldn’t have put the question) that all his legal representation has, to date, cost him $0, AND that he won’t be billed for the services of his lawyers after this trial.
How interesting is that?
The courage and tenacity of Steyn in pursuit of the truth is incredible. This case has dragged on for, I believe, over a decade now, attempting to destroy Steyn for pointing out the now more than fully known and factually proven falsity of Mann’s faked “hockey stick” model attempt to support climate change.
Mann is a fraud and a charlatan - and a pathological liar.

It's not just "health care", in this case it's "gender-affirming care". The Left specializes in creating euphemisms like "women's health" for abortion, "human rights" for sexual deviancies, and of course the opposite of a euphemism, like "insurrection" for a riot that, contrary to the incendiary riots that THEY favor, was largely peaceful.
You have gotten to the heart of the matter. No one wants to fix “real” problems facing this country. So they make up problems and promote them with help from the media branch of government, thereby deflecting from real problems to fake ones. But the real evil is that children and young people cant tell the difference.

However, like all popular hysterias, it has been in decline and other psychological maladies have come to replace it in the popular psyche. See also the "cutting" phenomenon.
Likewise, there have always been people who believed they were of the opposite sex to that which biology had selected for them, but they were generally perceived to be isolated and perverse cases. The Roman emperor Eligabalus and Joan of Arc come to mind. They were a small, almost insignificant minority until the popular press decided to make this our "hysteria du jour."
Review the statistics related to appearance of the term "transgender" in the popular media; it was almost non-existent until around the mid-1960's, then slowly increased until the Obama years, when references to transgenderism exploded, not coincidentally with the Obama decree that surgical mutilation must be covered by insurance. (Part of his agenda to "radically transform," i.e. destroy America.)
So now there has come about a confluence of perverse incentives that has caused a huge increase, albeit still a very small but extremely loud and militant group, of these perverts, whose presence is amplified by the media and who are preyed upon by unscrupulous medical practitioners who make themselves wealthy by medicating and surgically mulitating their victims, all at the expense of the greater populace which still opposes these activities. It is not yet determined whether this wave of popular hysteria will fade in time or if these satanic forces of evil will prevail to our doom. I pray not, but I do not discount the alternative. Paul got it right when he wrote his pastoral letters to Timothy, particularly when he warned of what evil men would do in the last days. We should heed his warning.

The Left knows what it's doing. The trans movement is not organic. It's a planned political movement dating back decades. It's objective is destabilizing the family and demasculinizing the country. If the MSM told the entire country that it was fashionable to wear cow patties on your head, about 20% of the country would start doing it. Currently that 20% is nominally in charge of the country because powerful people behind the scenes can manipulate them to get what they want. Those people should not be in charge of anything, anywhere.
One in several thousand people historically is the rate at which gender dysphoria occurred. The recent spike is artificial and harmful to society, but mostly to the mentally fragile people falling for this nonsense. Ohio made the right move.
