Gay is not completely bulletproof. I’ve never heard if Gay is gay. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. Gay being gay would be the trifecta, like Karine Jean-Pierre. Black, female, gay. Unfireable.

If Gay were gay, she’d be completely untouchable. Gay may not be gay so there is some vulnerability there.

Soetoro is protecting Gay, and he may be gay, but Gay apparently is not gay.

I don’t think Harvard is very gay either. If those elitists ever smiled anyways.

Harvard’s Gay problem is making many feel gay.

If you don’t know, Bill was formerly known as Tony N.

Expand full comment

Yes, that has been my conclusion too.

Bill/Tony has alot of great insight to offer; but his periodic impulsive attacks detract from it.

Expand full comment

Yes, precisely. It is a fatal flaw in my opinion.

My only requirement for engaging in discussion with anyone is that they hold conservative values, which *I* define as smallest possible govt, strictest adherence to the Bill of Rights and the Constitution which includes an absolute right to PRIVACY as long as all activities are with consenting adult humans. That some conservatives weave a religious (?) morality clause into the mix is disappointing.

Expand full comment

No, not if you believe in Freedom of Speech. We can ignore and not read those comments we find objectionable, but I have found that engaging a person who I find has a repugnant view of certain things helpful in the long game. You never know, having an actual debate with someone who does not agree with your views just may change their view in some way.

Expand full comment

Well, some may think that I'm being soft on this, but I plan to continue appreciating the many excellent comments Bill/Tony makes. He has had many comments for a long time, and with many of them I was fully in sync with him. His anti-Semitic comments were very disturbing. And I didn't particularly enjoy the time he recommended that I see a psychiatrist and told me "Don't contact me again". He similarly attacked Annademo a couple weeks ago and also told her "Don't contact me again".

But as people, we each are a package of strengths and weaknesses. Bill/Tony is clearly very intelligent (possibly brilliant) and observant, and I trust that eventually these same qualities will cause him to reevaluate some things. He has received feedback from this community of commenters, and I trust he will give it some quiet consideration. We don't know what pressures individuals are under, or what situations may be driving them. My thought towards him, is that I wish him peace, and reaffirm that he has many valuable comments to share.

Harvard's best days are well behind them, as is the case for so many institutions in the West. But as Gibbon noted about the fall of the Roman Empire, it's not that it fell, but that it took so long to do so. As you point out, Harvard has copious amounts of cash, pipelines of it coming from the Feds, and from donors, so they will be able to withstand the incompetence and corruption of the Gays and others for decades, maybe generations. As far as her making up her academic papers, etc., the fraud doesn't matter, just like the black professor at Florida State was able to invent whole reams of data about whites killing blacks for years, with no one conducting even a cursory check on any of it. He did get eventually fired but probably received a lucrative payout and will probably end up at... Harvard, or some other elite school.

I don't see her getting fired or even demoted because of her fraud, because it's so common in academia. Do you remember Tucker Carlson quoting from Jill Biden's dissertation for her "doctorate" of education? Barely literate. Her's was typical, not atypical and there are hundreds of thousands of these frauds and idiots everywhere in high places in government, business, and academia, and they will cover for their own.

Pray for the Republic!

Fun Facts:

Obama was named the editor of Harvard's Law Review - prestigious and sought after student assignment. He was unknown and undistinguished. He wrote less than any previous editor candidate and did less than any editor before or since.

NewsMax had an interesting report in 2008 that Obama got into Harvard and was funded by Khalid Al-Mansour, a Black Muslim and Black Nationalist who was a “mentor” to the founders of the Black Panther party at the time the party was founded in the early 1960s.

Al-Mansour was reported to be an advisor to “one of the world’s richest men,” Saudi prince Alwaleed bin Talal.

Today's column is another hard-hitting zinger--Paragraph 1 about Gaza City, Paragraph 2 about the UN, and paragraphs 4-6 about the Brown University (professor of the Holocaust!!!!!) started it off with a bang. I also liked the line: "Obama's backing her damages his brand too. Brilliant!"

But the line that resonated most with me is this: "The damage (to Harvard) came quicker and deeper than anyone could imagine." This is another example of how our enemy is self-destructing. We may feel overwhelmed by the clean-up we need to do in America, but we also can't foresee the variety of events that may occur in 2024 that may surprise us and really help us.

The Left has built a large structure on a rotten foundation--their ideology is full of false premises and contradictions of reality itself. I guess it was bound to start collapsing after it reached a certain weight.

II Chronicles 20:17 says about one of the battles in the Old Testament: "Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you."

Of course, we need to be very vigorous and persistent in fighting this evil in America right now. But there are more things in operation than just our dedicated efforts. The Left is fighting against reality itself; they have been throwing out principles of right behavior that have developed over millenia of human development. I like our prospects in this battle.

Gay is toast. But toast is not gay, unless you eat it while drinking Bud Light. Watch out for trans fats.

But seriously, they have no choice but to get rid of her. The problem is as Bill Kunstler pointed out in the last day or so, Harvard may be at risk of getting ruined by lawsuits from people she canceled, including numerous professors who wouldn't recite from the Book of Woke or were refused admission because of identity characteristics rather than academic merit. So Harvard will find a way to get rid of her. Ackman is very sharp, and usually correct. It's a matter of when and how, not if. She's exposed the rancid underbelly of academic politics and is destroying the brand of Harvard and the Ivy League. Destroying the brand means losing lots of money. Dirty little not-so-secret secret: Academia is full of whores. They can recite Chaucer and Cicero, but they're all about the Benjamins. Omer Bartov is a self hating Jew. A commie and a coward. I despise this type of libtard. He throws his own people under the bus to score points with the Commies in academia. Loser.

The fact that Barack Obama sticks up for a serial plagiarist, ethnic mass murder supporter, and intellectual mediocrity is not surprising. He's all about cadre loyalty, everything is politics. A well developed sense of ethics is a hindrance to working in politics, or at America's universities it would seem. If I had to bet, I would say that Marxist wokester Claudine Gay was put in place at Harvard with the help of Obama, which is why he's fighting to keep her there. Have you noticed that most of Obama's pet projects are women. He doesn't like giving power to men. Valerie Jarrett, Susan Rice, and others who still are mucking up America. It's easier to hide the evil agenda behind a woman.

The criminals running the organizations which represent the Palestinian people steal the aid money and fan the flames of hatred. They are not interested in having a state, because that ends their worldwide grifter tour. Billions of dollars from idiots in Europe and North America pour in to these crooks, ostensibly to help the Palestinians. The UN helps with the hateful propaganda that Hamas and the PA spew. The Palestinians never see the money. They see rockets, AK-47's and terror tunnels. Their leaders have billions of dollars, right out in the open. How do you make billions when you are the leader of a political movement? If you need to think about that, I don't know what to tell you.

The Palestinians get paid when they kill a Jew or an American with a terror attack. The Palestinians get paid when they kidnap civilians. They get paid to hurt people. They don't get paid for advancing society. Why is it that Israel could become an advanced postindustrial economy in 7 decades starting from nothing, but all the Palestinians can do is whine? Both are choices. They Palestinians are not stupid. They chose the type of society they want - an apartheid, Sharia law dominated medieval society based on hatred and murder. If you gave them all of Israel, they would turn it back into a nonproductive desert. A lot of the people they killed on October 7 were peaceniks, kibbutzim who worked to help make conditions better for the people who ultimately killed them. The Hamas terrorists knew everything about their targets, because the people from Gaza employed in those locations were scouting for the attack over years. When someone tells you they hate you and they want to kill you, that means they are not your friend, and all the unicorns and kumbayah koolaid will not change that reality. Enough on that.

We have to win in 2024. The country is going down the tubes with obscene lawfare, uncontrolled invasion at the border, and imbecile Commies running the show. Joe Biden just gave all the federal workers a nice big raise. Did you get a big raise this year? That's what I thought.

Agree--Claudine Gay is headed out. So long as she's there, Harvard will have an open wound that won't heal. Of course, if the Harvard Board wants to keep her, that's fine with me--the drip, drip of it will hurt them so badly it will destroy its reputation for a generation, and spread to the rest of Ivy League and all other colleges in the country and bring the dysfunctionalism of DEI to the country's keen attention. That would be a very helpful thing for America. It will attack the central engine of their national Marxist indoctrination system.
