Don I really don’t care which of the subjects of your poll drowns just as long as the survivor is buried.

I am happy to say that I have avoided all the BS these polls espouse because I rid myself of my TV almost 12 years ago and haven't looked back. I do have and willingly pay for commercial free internet service so I don't shake my head very often because I don't hear that lying bitch Jean-Pierre towing the democratic party line.

I am going to vote for Mr. Trump again and support him in any way I can. After the John Fetterman issue here in PA, no one should ever believe anything any liberal says because they are pure evil and there is only one thing to do with that.

As far as the disgrace of males competing in women's sports, these are nothing but, for the most part, homosexual males who can't compete at their own and they hate to be wrong or to lose

Now THAT is true.

The Trump /DeSantis squabble irritates me to no end, largely because it’s EXACTLY what the media want and can’t get enough of.

In my opinion , Trump is playing right into their hands, and he comes off looking and sounding more and more foolish. They couldn’t pay for such grist for their mill! But it only ends up hurting both of them, and helping neither.

DeSantis, too, seems to be milking it for all it’s worth, by being coy, and if there’s one thing I hate it’s a coy politician. It seems he is operating on a purely strategic level, doing absolutely everything to telegraph he’s going to run, except coming out and saying so, and baiting Trump at the same time. That, to me, is dishonest, pure and simple.

The one thing you could always count on with Trump from the git-go was telling it like it is, which was just one of his “super powers” when it came to obliterating not just his competitors, but all politicians in general!

I am not happy with his DeSantis jibes. I think he’s being played, and should rethink his strategy, and wait until DeSantis is forced to announce he’s running. Then he can give as good as he’s got.

As for DeSantis, nearly everything he’s been saying and DOING as Governor has been spot on, in my book. It’s the apparent “coyness” that’s got me bugged. It’s too “manufactured”, in other words, he’s being coached. And it’s who his coaches are that really has me worried.

What I’d like to see is a well advertised meeting between Trump and DeSantis, with media all filming DeSantis as he enters Mar A Lago, and all their rabid speculation as to what’s going on behind those closed doors, and for Trump and DeSantis to appear afterward and not disclose one word of whatever transpires. That would just fry the media.

In my opinion, those two have to meet, and decide what will be the future of this country, if we there is a sliver of a chance for us to have one.

This is no time for the usual political games. Way, way, way too much is at stake.

I have been praying DeSantis is playing along with the rich RINOs to suck up all their attention and is waiting to announce that he won't run until it's too late for them to groom someone else.

Hmmm, interesting- could explain the “coy” behavior.

I did find it intriguing that he came out AGAINST the Ukraine war, which is not exactly the RINO party line. So, there may be something to your thinking.

…I still want them to meet just to make the media /punditry’s heads explode. T’would be a glorious thing to behold.

There is NO support for DeSantis primary challenge to Trump among Palm Beach County Republicans. No Republican can win the nomination without Florida and no Republican can win Florida without Palm Beach County Republican vote!

The “media” have Mr Biden leading both in their “scientific “ poll. We know the fix is in.

I was shocked at the early morning scientific poll vote but then realized that only 5 votes had been posted at that time. Mark took care of that with his post about Biden.

I am glad we have two good options. Both treat the media with the disrespect they deserve. We have to fix the fraudulent voting industry in five or six states so that the landslide can occur.

I'm Trump ambivalent. Don't get me wrong. If it's a choice between him or Biden, I won't hesitate. In fact, if it's a choice between him or every other Democrat whose name I've seen bandied about, I won't hesitate.

But as for who I'd like to see on the Republican ticket? Any populist will do for me: Trump, DeSantis, Ramaswamy (whom I really like), even Kristi Noem (though she's a little too cozy with corporations for my taste, but I liked her answer on the black financial hole that is Zelensky and Ukraine). Who I won't vote for: Pompeo, Pence, Haley, or Christie. If the Republicans pick one of them, they can go pound sand. I'm writing in Bugs Bunny.

I concur on who you won't vote for. And instead of just staying home, I will show up and either vote for some obscure 3rd party candidate or write in Trump. I don't want them to notice I didn't vote and then vote for me, and that is the SOP in elections these days

Trump's Virtues - Tom Klingenstein

Trump’s Virtues Many leading Republicans and conservatives want someone other than Donald Trump to run for President in 2024. They say we need someone with Trump’s virtues but without his vices.

Fair enough, but that formulation does not get us very far unless we have a proper accounting of his virtues.

Trump has the courage to defend his own people--a large, and impressive, political fact. Courage never demands perfection

This enumeration of Trump’s virtues does not fully capture his uncommon courage and firmness of purpose. Trump is the most towering political figure in living memory.

He has, like it or not, defined the politics of our age. In 2016 and 2020 he was the political leader most fit for war-like circumstances.

Trump inspired a movement that, if properly deployed, might really challenge the woke comms, and God willing, save the country.

Republicans should not forget that it is his supporters and their American spirit that have become the life force of the Republican Party.

Trump did not inspire the movement; Trump caught a wave. And then when that wave put him in office, he invited a bunch of establishment figures in the door to do the same things establishment figures always do. He also seriously underestimated the strength of the entrenched bureaucracy.

"I'm Trump ambivalent." As am I. Whoever wins the nomination gets my vote – and I'm with you re: Pompeo, Mr. Milquetoast "Christian," Indira, or Shamu. My write-in will be Pat Paulsen.

I like the write-in idea. How about Don Surber? He could change " the beast" into the " Bentley Bruiser". Picture it! President Surber finally gets his Bentley.

"Newsweek reported, 'A group of Trump supporters is hoping to strip Florida Governor Ron DeSantis of his title and his ability to run for office again in Florida, according to a complaint filed with the Florida Commission on Ethics.'"

I don't expect honesty or candor from ANY "news" outlet, but it could, at least, get it right and report that the Lincoln Project filed that complaint/lawsuit.

Now that's what you call burying the lead. The Lincoln Project, eh? They should sue Newsweek for defamation for calling them "Trump supporters." That will damage their street cred.

"Libs want a Trump-DeSantis war" and so does the donors(Fox) who support RdS and HATE Trump as he disrupted the trillions we provide.

I love what DeSantis is doing in FL and welcome the competition. Trump is authentic and I don't know if Ron is. The one thing I do know is Trump would absolutely welcome DeSantis to come and help in any way and DeSantis has already left Trump behind. Like a lot of others.

Mr. Surber, I am glad you love truth. I do, too. As far ss your poll today is concerned it was a hard choice! Traitors deserve first penalties and so do open fascists in the government. I think we should put Paul earlier on any such list. He's still hating America in any case.

I put Ryan ahead to drown because he's like a traitorous spy who pretends to be on your side. That's a reptile type character we've come to despise. There are some others like him there in Congress.

Nancy is an awful, terrible person but she wears that badge proudly and everyone knows who she is.

I would love to see a Trump-DeSantis ticket for a number of reasons. It would ensure a definite win in FL. Trump could lead from the front with no reelection worries. DeSantis would be an EXTREMELY effective behind the scenes hatchet man. If Trump lived to fill out his term we would have a good shot at 12 years to drain the Swamp and repair the damage done by Obama and Biden. Lastly, but certainly not least, let's face it at 76 Trump could check out at any time, and it is hard for me to imagine a better successor, unlike the cackling fool who is currently VP.

I just don’t see why we can’t have both. DeSantis is young, he can easily run next time and meanwhile keep winning in Florida. I want to vote for Trump again. He’s not perfect but he’s proven. He kept his word more than any other politician in my lifetime. I wish Trump would stop attacking because I don’t want DeSantis harmed for the next go, but I also understand why he thinks he must. Basically I think we need to stop fighting about it, but if we thought in lockstep we’d be Ds so 🤷‍♀️
