Jeff Bezos Post upset that Republican does what Biden did

8 months ago, Florida shipped 50 illegal aliens to Martha’s Vineyard. The Washington Post owned by Jeff Bezos is literally shaking even today. On Friday, the Bezos Post ran a 4,000-word, Pulitzer-seeking hit piece on Republican Governor Ron DeSantis based on the newspaper’s butt-hurt over Martha’s Vineyard.

The piece began, “The mission was a tightly held secret as two agents from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement traveled to a remote Texas town, hundreds of miles away on the U.S.-Mexico border.

“They worked for a statewide police agency charged with protecting the governor and investigating major crimes. But last summer, they were enlisted in a highly unusual effort: laying the groundwork for a politically charged operation — ordered by Gov. Ron DeSantis — to fly border-crossers from San Antonio to the liberal haven of Martha’s Vineyard.”

Not mentioned in the story was Texas suffering from an invasion of millions of illegal aliens — surely several times the 1.6 million illegal cited in 2019.

Texans tolerate them. Thousands of miles away, many towns in Massachusetts claimed to be sanctuaries for them. To prove the insincerity of sanctuary cities, DeSantis sent 50 illegals to the island most famous for the beach mansions of the rich and the filming of Jaws.

The Bezos Post claimed, “The statewide police force’s on-the-ground involvement in planning the September 14 flights speaks to how DeSantis has increasingly deployed FDLE outside its traditional portfolio and in support of his own political agenda, according to a Washington Post review of court documents, state records and interviews with more than a dozen current and former administrators and agents, many of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity because of fear of retribution.”

Ah, anonymous sources. The Bezos Post still practices trust us journalism from a paper that lied about Russiagate, Hunter Biden’s laptop and an 8-year-old heroin addict.

At worst, DeSantis is doing only what Biden does. The difference is liberals are silent in their support of Biden.

On October 18, 2021, the New York Post reported, “Planeloads of underage migrants are being flown secretly into suburban New York in an effort by President Biden’s administration to quietly resettle them across the region, The Post has learned.

“The charter flights originate in Texas, where the ongoing border crisis has overwhelmed local immigration officials, and have been underway since at least August, according to sources familiar with the matter.

“Last week, The Post saw two planes land at the Westchester County Airport, where most of the passengers who got off appeared to be children and teens, with a small portion appearing to be men in their 20s.

“Westchester County cops stood by as the passengers — whose flights arrived at 10:49 p.m. Wednesday and 9:52 p.m. Friday — got off and piled into buses.

“Some of them were later seen meeting up with relatives or sponsors in New Jersey, or being dropped off at a residential facility on Long Island.

“A Post analysis of online flight-tracking data suggests that around 2,000 of the underage migrants have arrived at the airport outside White Plains on 21 flights since Aug. 8.”

Who took in those 2,000 underage kids? Pedos? Recruiters from MS-13? Chamber of Commerce exploiters of cheap labor? The story said they went to places that house illegal aliens — thousands of miles from the border. That’s an odd way to set up a center to help illegals.

The rest of the media ignored the story because the people who run the media believe democracy dies in darkness. That’s the Bezos Post’s mission statement.

The newspaper used the Martha’s Vineyard comeuppance as its opener on its cheap shots at DeSantis, who has worked with the legislature to expand the governor’s ability to hold the FDLE — Florida’s law enforcement — accountable.

The Bezos Post said, “FDLE members surveilled buses traveling through Florida with unaccompanied migrant children as the governor bashed President Biden’s immigration policies. They rounded up felons alleged to have voted illegally as DeSantis touted a new election crimes office popular with the right wing. And they were asked to scrutinize the crime-fighting record of a Democrat prosecutor who had repeatedly clashed with the governor.”

DeSantis followed Florida law and removed the prosecutor who refused to prosecute.

The story went on, saying, “Inside FDLE, many members balked at these directives from the governor’s office, which they viewed as political stunts orchestrated to raise DeSantis’s national profile, The Post’s interviews found, and some who openly resisted the governor’s priorities were pushed out. Several former top officials spoke on the record with The Post for the first time about their concerns about executive overreach into law enforcement — which they said escalated after DeSantis installed a new FDLE chief last spring.”

Let’s see, DeSantis ran as tough on crime and won re-election by 19 points. Now you see why the Bezos Post wants democracy to die.

He also hired a chief to carry out his orders because the people elected DeSantis governor — not Nikki Fried, who is quoted in the story.

While the Bezos Post insists there is no voter fraud anywhere in America, way down in this story, it had to admit that people voted illegally and were arrested.

The newspaper said, “Although a constitutional amendment approved by Florida voters in 2018 made it easier for felons to regain voting rights after completing their prison sentences, the change did not apply to people convicted of murder or felony sex offenses. Police body-camera footage first obtained by the Tampa Bay Times and the Guardian shows FDLE agents gently explaining to several bewildered Miami-Dade and Tampa-area residents that they were being arrested for voter fraud because they were ineligible under the amendment.”

They weren’t just residents. They were murderers and rapists (or sex offenders to be more precise). That is why they could not vote again.

Being a newspaper based in DC, the Bezos Post had to drag race into the picture, stating, “Several people working at FDLE as well as former agency officials told the Post they cringed at the scenes of mostly black people being arrested by contrite agents. Two men were pulled from their homes in their underwear.”

But DeSantis sending illegals to Martha’s Vineyard just galls the Bezos Post.

It said, “As DeSantis lashed out at the Biden administration’s border security policies, he saw opportunities for FDLE to crack down on illegal immigration. In September 2021, the governor signed a sweeping executive order directing FDLE to collect detailed information on migrants transferred to Florida by the federal government and encouraging officers to pull over vehicles suspected of transporting migrants.”

Breaking the law is OK by Mister Bezos and his newspaper if you are black, Hispanic or a Democrat.

And flying illegal aliens in the middle of the night to places unknown is OK for Biden but transporting illegals to a sanctuary town (officially or unofficially) is a scandal if you are a Republican.
