Unfortunately, mathematics don’t lie. It all comes down to birth rate. When the birth rate of the unwashed, uneducated, unproductive and unintellectual groups are two or three times that of the native population in Europe and the United States the writing is on the wall. While the election of individuals such as Mr. Wilders may be encouraging, the reality is it may be too late. Unfortunately, a country such as Pakistan can evict 2 million Afghans and nobody says a word , yet I suspec as the Netherlands, France or Germany, etc. discover they have balls, it will be akin to trying to rid the cockroach problem you have in the kitchen.
It’s a worthy task, but one that is almost impossible to do.

I am interested in watching if Ireland remains a faithful poodle to the EU. The EU let Ireland be an English speaking corporate Tax Haven for Tech companies selling to Europe, but I guess in return instead of the English rule, they let EU bureaucrats do that. Looks like Varadkar is a bright EU wunderkind that that WEF is proud of, maybe a little bit smarter that Justin Trudeau-Castro. I guess part of the deal was to fill Ireland up with non-Irish ‘visitors’ on the EU dole to keep the tax haven.
We’ve wanted to visit Ireland now we have time to travel, but understand the Hotels don’t have rooms to rent b/c of all the ‘visitors’.
Every time I think of visiting Europe again, I shake my head and say not now.

I have a gentle disagreement with the poll. The “ leaders” aren’t weak they are strategic. They want the results we are seeing. My family came to the USA in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. They came to get away from the hatred in Europe. They came to be Americans. My wife immigrated in 1963. Her family all came to and become Americans. The leaders don’t want the same people now.
It is lunacy to think we can let tens of millions into this country in a matter of a few years and they are all going to assimilate with no problems. The Democrats knew there would be crime and other problems, they just didn’t care because they need the new voters to retain power.

You are correct. Voting them out is the solution in reasonable times, but not at all times and under all circumstances. I consider myself fairly reasonable, but every time I read about this kind of "protected" violence and the lunatic response from the leftist governments absolving or ignoring the obvious it makes me want to bite the head off nails.
A lot of people aren't as reasonable as us and if they keep playing with matches around a powder keg we should not be surprised when it blows. If these toads aren't removed from office and from the accompanying system of political corruption, don't blame those whose temperaments make them less tolerant when the keg blows.
I hope the recent electoral success and challenges to juntas around the world bode well for us, but what happened in Dublin is too close to our cities where large numbers of criminals have settled.
At one time you could change the direction of our government by changing presidents and control of congress but no mire. Trump found out that the real shadow government is in the deep state filled with unelected officials driven by ideology and money. It will not be easy to fix this either but it must be fixed. People who believe they are entitled to a federal job are going to be very unhappy soon.

I finally had a chance this morning to read carefully Don's Thanksgiving Day column and all the lovely comments there, and would like to add my gratitude as well. I truly appreciate Don Surber's columns every day. Wisdom, frankness, and common sense; solidly based on his long and deep observation of US politics. If everyone in America read him, things in this country would turn around very fast.
And what a wonderful community of commentators! I am grateful for and honor each one of you, who are true freedom-loving American (and Canadian!) patriots. It is wonderful to be able to read these comments every day as we all work through these turbulent times together. We can all hang in there, because as Marlan Hoerer often says--"We are winning." We have already won individually, given the truth, clarity, and heart shown in both the columns and comments here everyday. Now for our country to settle into victory as well.

I read over the weekend that the original protest was entirely peaceful, and it was Irish who were protesting, but the burning and looting was done by "migrants" who saw an opportunity and took it.
Am I the only one who wonders when these "migrants" will, like other migrating species, return to their homes?
