ITEM 18: “We need a diverse group of air traffic controllers ..." I'm 90 years old, so I can add to diversity. In elemental school I was a school crossing guard. With that as a qualification, can I be an air traffic controller?

The Revelations continue. 90 years old and a golfer? I guess I miss my opportunity when I went to Mary's Church and attended the Sunday School class and all of the men looked at me hoping that I was a golfer. But being a cheap ass pastor, I crinched at the thought of all the money spent on golf clubs and memberships. Miss my chance to be in the big time. What this does is bode well for President Trump's afterlife after retirement. Looks like a reasonable goal for him is to reach 90 while golfing.

Item 18: "“We need a diverse group of air traffic controllers to bring distinct perspective to handle the ever-changing aerospace landscape.

Not funny, McGee. Our ATC system was developed over decades, incorporating technical elements -- radar, computer-assisted displays, etc. -- and standardized, unambiguous communication protocols to provide timely, accurate knowledge of conditions in the air space so that this kind of thing doesn't happen. What, in the name of Truth, will the "distinct perspectives" of "diverse groups" bring to enhance or improve on that?

In deference to common decency I haven't used more colorful language in this comment. I served two years on an aircraft carrier which conducted round-the-clock combat operations during the An Loc Offensive in 1972. The reason we had no accidents, injuries, or deaths during that time was because of the training and professionalism of the flight deck and ATC crew. "Diversity" wasn't in our lexicon back then.

Expand full comment

When it comes to the military, or the police department where I served for 27 years, we wore uniforms for a reason. To be uniform in response, in action, in reporting, and in communicating. Anyone who diverted from the well-worn uniform highway stood out, and usually not in a good way. There were standards for a reason; so you’d meet them. If you didn’t, well you’d wash out one way or another. I remember in police academy when one of the diverse hires tried to insult me by telling me, “I’ll be making the same money as you!” He seemed puzzled when I replied, “Yes. But not for the same amount of time.” One month into his probationary year, he was arrested for robbing drug dealers after his shift. He was brilliant enough to hold out his badge, and on one recalcitrant dealer, pressed it into his forehead. The detectives held a mirror to the victim, read the badge number impression, and his paycheck stopped the next day. I hear he’s now a guest of NC prison system. Diversity is not our strength in most fields.

ITEM 33: The Daily Wire reported, “CBS In Settlement Talks With Trump After He Filed Lawsuit Over Deceptive 60 Minutes Interview.”

Trump accepted his two previous settlement offers of $15M and $25M and directed the money to his presidential library. That's fine as that is small potatoes to Trump and not worth additional time or hassle.

However, the CBS case is different and I wish he would hold out and sue the pants off that lying legacy source. First, $10 Billion dollars is a life changer - even for Trump. Second, it would put CBS permanently out of business and stand as a stark reminder to all media they are not out of the reach of MAGA. Media channels may think twice before inventing and publishing fake news.

I recall during the campaign how many times CNN producers sent 'emergency' legal disclaimers to their live one-air personalities to modify a false claim made by that on-air personality only moments before the disclaimer was ordered. They were panicked and it showed.

Truth works when it doesn't back down.

I want to see CBS lose the case, liquidate to pay the fine, and go off the air permanently. Hearing 'crickets' on every CBS station and affiliate would be music to my ears. Or, perhaps Trump can include in the settlement that all CBS stations must play the J6 choir's version of "Justice for All" nonstop for a week before closing their doors forever.

'Abigail Shrier Says the Trans Debate in America Has Finally Turned a Corne'-Hot Air

And if the helicopter pilot was a Tranny, that’s a big exclamation point. Abigail lays the beginning of the trans explosion on OBAMACARE, and the $$$it sprayed to the medical complex. It’s worth a read.

The third crew member on the helicopter was a female pilot with 500 hours of flying experience, according to a U.S. official who was not authorized to speak publicly about the investigation. The Army is withholding the pilot’s name at the request of her family. The internet is ablaze w/speculation-is it a he/she/it/Valedictorian/DEI? We report-you decide.

Expand full comment

It is being reliably reported that the pilot was a black female. That his/her name has not been released, despite the release of the names and photographs of the other two crew members seems to give credence to this. As it is frequently quipped, "Tell me who did it without telling me who did it."

Expand full comment

They reported that said pilot had about 500 hours. That isn't many hours. I'm guessing under a year to accumulate that, ten hours a week.

Expand full comment

I'll wait until we have facts before judging. My biggest fear is that you are correct.

Expand full comment

I don't think the family has the authority to deny her name being made public. It is an affront to the families of the 64 people that died on the American Airlines flight, who have a right to know something so integral to the event that killed them. I will predict that Pete Hegseth will eventually see that it is released.

Obviously, they don't want their family member publicly shamed or smeared as the reason for the accident. But that's just tough. If that pilot was responsible, the rest of the world is entitled to know the Truth.

There are times to cater to a family's emotions, but other times when the Truth overrides that sensitivity. Would we withhold the name of a Presidential assassin? Would we withhold the name of an oil tanker captain after the ship had an accident and spilled oil? No, we don't.

The name of a rape victim, especially if it's a child, can be withheld. But this pilot was not a victim--the pilot may have been the perpetrator.

he may, on extraordinary occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in case of disagreement between them, with respect to the time of adjournment, he may adjourn them to such time as he shall think proper.

As I understand that, he can adjourn them only if one house wants to adjourn but the other does not. I base this on article 1 stating that they must be in agreement in order to adjourn for a period longer than three days.

If that were possible, every president would be adjourning them in order to make controversial appointments especially to the supreme court. Do you think the SCoaMF would have used that to get CF Garland as a supreme injustice of the court?

But seems as though you were wrong.

Saw an article on SeeBS about it. The house is supposed to adjourn for some scheduled annual meetings scheduled to last ten days. If the Senate doesn't agree, Trump can order the adjournment and would then be able to do it. Another article says it has never been tried so is uncharted waters.

I know President Trump said he would, but can he legally? I dread to think what could happen if that were allowed. See what happened when Hitler did it in Germany.
