Item 12

If the London mayor fears for his safety if Trump wins election in this country one might think he would return to his ancestral home for safety. And take some friends with you.

CC's avatar

London’s Mayor Kahn is a racist and doesn’t hide it. Ads from his office showed a white couple who were described as 'not a typical London' couple. The only reason he remains in office is that London is now only 36% white, the remainder are from myriad minority communities formed by recent immigrants and people from former British colonies. It’s what happens when ‘the colonies’ colonize the colonizer.

Chef R.T.'s avatar

Reminds me of the difference between Yankees and damn Yankees. The Yankee comes to the south for a visit and quickly leaves. The Damn Yankee comes for a visit and never leaves. And then, there’s the worst kind of Yankee that comes for a visit, never leaves, and then goes on and on about how much nicer it was back home.

Jeremy R's avatar

Last time This colony visited England they had a shortage of elastic. Women's girdles were advertised as easily removed by a strong yank.

Doggie Dad's avatar

In the meantime, Americans who don't have their heads tucked up their arses wouldn't dare set foot in London, today.

Jeremy R's avatar

Maybe we need for a band of brothers to free them from the invaders. Let's wait a bit longer until they fully understand what they got themselves in to.

EODMom's avatar

All the poll choices are befuddled but well meaning guys. Walz is a malevolent dope. With the emphasis on malevolent.

Tmitsss's avatar

Fudd is the hunter who can’t hunt. Waltz is the fighter who won’t fight.

Tmitsss's avatar

I will note that Wimpy advocates deficit spending.

Shrugged's avatar

I voted Wimpy because his overall demeanor fits Walz. He is focused on self-serving things in life like over-eating hamburgers. The deficit spending idea is also a good fit.

Marlan Hoerer's avatar

GMTA Tmitsss and shrugged.

Chef R.T.'s avatar

But only until next Tuesday.

BH's avatar

I question whether walz can actually hunt. But he likes how he looks in camo, where [he thinks] no one can see his ineptitude.

Shrugged's avatar

Maybe he hunts as well a Dick Cheney, a real professional with a shotgun /s/

Chef R.T.'s avatar

Cheney's got a gun

Cheney's got a gun

The safety's come undone

He's squinting in the Texas sun

What did our leader do?

Who'd he put a bullet through?

They say when Cheney goes to Texas

You'll find him huntin' fish and game

His buddy had it comin'

'Cause when Cheney's got a gun

He's just not that good at takin' aim

Cheney's got a gun

Cheney shot someone

Cindy Sheehan better run

Better watch her liberal buns

Tell him that the war's not through

He'll probably put a hole in you

He tracked a little bitty birdie

Hopin' to blow out its brains

They say the spell that he gets under (pow, pow, pow)

From double barrel thunder

Makes his eyes pop out like he's insane

Run away, run away from the Vice President, yeah-ah-ah

Run away, run away, run from Dick Che-ee ay-ee nee

Cheney's got a gun

The safety's come undone

Cindy Sheehan better run

He's a weapon of mass destruction

Cheney shot someone

Jeremy R's avatar

He should go hunting with the Dick. Build cred with midwesterners.

NNTX's avatar

When you get a chance, check out the pic of Walz's son and daughter at the DNC. Son is crying for pete's sake. I don't think his tears signal concern for America if Harris/Waltz "win" or are installed.

Quite a contrast of fathers between Trump and Waltz, and need I say, our Don Surber!

Subvet's avatar

I had the same problem.

Suzie's avatar

Item 7: RFK jr.’s endorsement of Trump was one of the most exciting events in American political history. His speech was also one of the best I’ve heard in ages. If you haven’t heard the whole thing, it is a must. His entrance into Trumps AZ rally was epic and the best part, is that Leftist heads were heard exploding around the world.

It is a game changer, and God knows we need all the help we can get.

Cookie McCall's avatar

I loved seeing his entrance plus thought his speech was great. I welcome RFK Jr into our tent and hope he brings many others with him!

Gail W's avatar

Yes, I watched the whole speech too. I thought it was heart wrenching in his sincerity and concern for American's health especially that of our youth.

I agree with almost everything that he spoke about.

The PROBLEM is that he (purposely) did not speak about all the crazy @ss things that (he knew) Trump supporters would NOT agree with him about, like "climate change". The DEVIL is in the details is certainly the description of RFK, Jr. I'm (mostly) happy to have him endorse Trump though. Although I'm not pleased that he refused to pull his name off the ballot in red states. Here in FL with TWO ballot amendments - one for pot, the other to amend the state constitution for abortion! - I am VERY concerned FL will be far too close for my comfort!! Having a 3rd party candidate on the ballot doesn't help. 🫤

Carolyn Gibb's avatar

Yes he unfortunately is still a leftist but hoping he will evolve further. Hard with his family background.

TeaPartyGal's avatar

Yes, RFK is truly sincere in wanting to help America. There is an integrity there. It is a shame his family (at least the vocal members of it) do not appreciate him more. He is ideologically following closer to JFK's and RFK Sr.'s footsteps than the rest of the "progressive" Kennedy clan.

But I did not understand Don's saying that RFK's endorsement only brings 13 votes over for Trump. ??? I think RFK brings a significant block of voters over to Trump and could be a game-changer in the swing states.

The Maggots had press credentials. Almost lost my coffee on that one. On fire this morning.

Ann Fairbank's avatar

Maggots seeking their own.

Suzie's avatar

Your story about your son and grandson truly warms the heart.

When my oldest grandson’s 2 brothers were born, (4/5 years age difference respectively) I told him he would be the most important person in their lives, their absolute hero, and that they’d look up him almost more than even Mom and Dad. That proved to be beyond true, and their devotion to one another is a truly extraordinary blessing to behold.

NotFromTexas's avatar

...and it's especially sad when that older sibling does just the opposite - abusing that trust and respect by using it against the younger one(s) to harmful ends.

Ahahahaha!! She’s hilarious- and quite brilliant, it seems!!

RevMikeyMac's avatar

I'm glad that RFK Jr. has endorsed Trump, but I'm also skeptical; we will still lose if Dems add 500K phony ballots in swing states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, etc. I fear that, even with better leadership this go-round, the RNC is still bringing a butter knife to a gun fight. The Dems are very motivated to STEAL 2024.

Shrugged's avatar

It’s also possible the dems will not certify the election if Trump truly wins (which he will if there is no cheating). With our house, get a handful of RINOs to cross over and we have a non-certified election of the people.

Jake's avatar

As a side note, today we head to Texas for the winter. Davy Crockett said to the Tennessee Legislature "To hell with you guys, I'm going to Texas". There was a Mexican invasion going on at the time. Come to think of it, he never came back. There's another one going on right now. Maybe I should rethink this??

Jake's avatar

I may have misquoted Davey but you get the gist.

Has there ever been a more unlikeable pair of people running for President together? Walz is the walking definition of a Putz.. Kamala when she is allowed to speak is totally unlikeable as well. I guess the Dem voters have been desensitized to Dumbness and unlikeability (sp). Pelosi, Shumur anyone????

Gail W's avatar

Lord don't forget NADLER or MAXINE WATERS or RASHIDA TLIB for 'unlikeability'!! 🤮

Dems have a whole host of horribles!!

NNTX's avatar

Yep. One of the DNC speakers actually said "we only have to act normal for 70 days, then we can go back to being crazy"

Jeremy R's avatar

A basket of horribles, and that's just their reprehensible representatives.

Carolyn Gibb's avatar

We have gotten numb to mediocrity

Gail W's avatar

I think that is their goal - to wear down and wear out the populace.

IDK about you, but I still NOTICE when someone is doing a good, great or inferior job and I react to each accordingly.

Wim de Vriend's avatar

I looked it up. Evidently in the 18th century the positive version of the word was likeable, but back then spelling customs were a bit different. Today's spelling is "likable", hence the existence of the noun "likability", although "unlikability" is not mentioned. This according to my 4" thick Webster's Encyclopedic Unabridged Dictionary.

NotFromTexas's avatar

Nope, you're needed here - but stay, not to fight and die but to live!

Shrugged's avatar

Enjoy, but stay away from the Alamo.

Gail W's avatar

Or bring more ammo and soldiers if you go! 😂

Chef R.T.'s avatar

Just stay away from San Antonio, and you should be fine.

Kels Bells's avatar

A man bun is a dead giveaway. A purple man bun has only been sighted in Obama’s imagination.

CC's avatar

A friend of ours who is balding at the top has now started to wear a pitifuly small and squirrelly ponytail at the back of his neck. I guess if you want to appear ‘young & cool’ it’s cheaper than hair plugs. The guy is in his 60’s. He looks stupid. To each their own.

Gail W's avatar

I think that look was popular in the 60s and 70s with the aging hipsters too. I'm not sure which is more disgusting - that or the man bun. 🤮

Thankfully BOTH are increasingly RARE.

Wim de Vriend's avatar

Used to be, whenever I was behind one of those I was seized by a near-irresistible urge to lift it, so I could find out what he was hiding. It's probably just as well I didn't do it. Peace be with us.

Gail W's avatar

ITEM 20: And I read that Amy Coney Barrett voted AGAINST illegals being barred from being able to register to vote! 😡

Like Bongino says:

Most Republicans on Capitol Hill are really Democrats. But NO Democrats are really Republicans.

Shrugged's avatar

I probably won’t take the time to research it, but I’d love for her to be a guest on Warroom to defend her position on illegals voting.

Gail W's avatar

I am not aware of any SCOTUS justices ever doing that, do they?? But if she did, my guess would be that her ruling was based on the difficulty of making this change so close to the election.

Catherine Kasparian's avatar

Any official involved in the Afghanistan disaster should be jailed including Biden and his right hand Gal since she is the last to leave the room when he has crucial decisions to make

Gail W's avatar

I'm very conflicted about Item 1.

I equally hate unions AND government overreach so I'm not sure who to root for in this instance. 🤷‍♀️

But it sure does make me think of ATLAS SHRUGGED!!

These people have NO sense of IRONY. 🤣🤣🤣

Gail W's avatar

Today, I think it must be TRUMP.

Or possibly Musk!

Epstein Did Not Kill Himself's avatar

Well, I hope neither one of these guys go on strike.

Wim de Vriend's avatar

The hero in one of Ayn Rand's books. Her work was popular in the 1960s, but rather dated now.

TeaPartyGal's avatar

I think her books are more relevant now than ever. Very useful in educating a new generation to the fundamental difference between communism and freedom.

Wim de Vriend's avatar

The communism part, yes, but there are far better authors who have highlighted that. And her hero-worship was over the top, especially of that architect whose obsession with functionality must have inspired the "brutalist" architecture that has destroyed so many urban landscapes.

William Coulter's avatar

Don’s pronouns are Bentley starved.

Doggie Dad's avatar

But bacon fed. No small consolation.

MartyB's avatar

I love these Saturday roundups. BTW, in the 2A community Waltz is the very definition of a FUDD. That doofus is practically a meme.

Mr. Garrison from South Park, Don. That’s Walz.

With a dozen Jewish Asians, I don’t know if you’ll conquer the world, but you’ll never run out of Chinese food on Christmas and the cashiers at those restaurants will be able to add up the bill and make change without a picture of the items on the screen.

RFK did a good thing yesterday. Give him some credit. It can only help Trump and it was a damning indictment of the Democrats by a member of the most iconic Dem family. I don’t agree with him on a host of issues, but I respect him for giving that speech.

If my aunt had balls, she’d be my uncle.

There’s no way in hell Kamala was gonna agree to anything RFK wanted. RFK wants to put a stake through the Democrat corruption machine, which is where all the money comes from.

Would RFK have preferred a deal with Democrats, the party of his daddy and the rest of the clan? No doubt. But they treated him poorly and now they will pay the price. About a million Dems 💩their pants yesterday with that speech. It’s going to bring a lot of independents over to Trump and some Dems. I like his position on free speech and on the corruption of the FDA-CDC-NIH, stopping the war in Ukraine. A lot of the rest of his stuff not so much. But you don’t need to agree with him on everything or anything. The fact is he threw his support to Trump. If he gets a position in the administration out of it, I’m ok with that as long as he’s concordant with Trump.

TeaPartyGal's avatar

Yes, whatever the caveats, RFK's endorsement of Trump was another red-pill moment for potentially reformable Democrats. These red-pill moments add up.

Marlan Hoerer's avatar

Item 21: RFK and JFK would neither be in todays Democratic Party nor support it. It is truly disgusting that RFK Jr’s siblings publicly condemn him for exercising his rights as an American. Junior is putting America over party. He is an honorable man. His family doesn’t deserve him. FJB

Shrugged's avatar

I suspect the current Kennedy clan is living out Edward’s legacy because they are too far past John and Robert’s legacy.

As you implied, JFK’s platform was closer to today’s Republican platform than the communist Dem’s platform.
