Item 20 re: removing RFK and Jill Stein from the ballot in several states. Heck, that’s nothing. Nancy Pelosi removed FJB from the ballot in every state.

Item 29 re: the breastfeeding SS agent. This is how DEI ruins organizations. No offense to the breastfeeding mom, but you don’t belong in that job and probably shouldn’t have been hired in the first place.

The lunatic leftists never seemed to understand that "accommodation" doesn’t negate the requirement to perform essential duties of the position. Being on-post as a secret service agent is the most basic essential duty.

She MUST be fired.

We don't know that. She might be a decent agent but not when she's nursing. However, the fact that she is on active protective duty and not admin work while breastfeeding is f-ing insane. How stupid do you have to be to assign her like that?

More evidence that management in all department of the Federal government needs to be fired.

Nah - no conscientious employee at any job does something like that. She shirked the primary responsibility of the job. Firing offense.

Re: Item 29: Right answer, Jim. It is okay for a mom to self-feed her kid. But not when she's on critical national security duty. Pure DEI nonsense. If she critically needed to self-feed her kid, she could have taken sick leave to stay at home and out of this assignment. BTW, isn't the PC term "chest-feeding"? Petey B would likely insist on this. What a world we're forced to live in, eh?

ITEM 25: UPI reported, “Secret Service will use bulletproof glass to protect Trump at outdoor rallies.”

I think the lunatics have given up on the age-old technology of shooting their undesirable opponent especially since it didn't work in Butler, PA from 130 yards - a "gimme put" in golf terms.

Considering that both Trump's and Vance's separate planes have had to make emergency landings for unexpected issues, it would be so easy to do something catastrophic to the airframe/powerplant that would look so random.

They will stop at nothing to win.

For a fun Saturday game count how many of the following match The News of The Week

Reynolds’ Laws
Reynolds’ First Law
“Subsidizing the markers of status doesn’t produce the character traits that result in that status; it undermines them.”

Reynolds’ Second Law
“The more a government wants to run its citizens’ lives, the worse job it will do at the most basic tasks of government.”

Reynolds’ Third Law
“Whatever politicians’ control, they will use against you to get what they want.”

Reynolds Fourth law
“Longevity of political service does not make a politician more qualified.
It only ensures they are more corrupt.”

Reynolds Fifth Law
“Proposed legislation will fail if there is not enough opportunity for graft or control”

Reynolds observations
“Matriarchies exist primarily in failed or colonized societies, or in those about to fail or be colonized.”

………………….“Under capitalism, rich people become powerful.
But under socialism, powerful people become rich.”……………………….

“Nothing that’s happened with this pandemic has made me want the government to play a bigger role in health care.”

If you have a GM car consider disconnecting On Star. This is the program that is doing the reporting and it is installed on every GM vehicle.

The auto manufacturers are making more money selling your data than they made selling you the car. A modern car has 20 plus computers in it and keeps track of your location, speed, phone calls, texts, weight, seatbelt usage, hard acceleration and deceleration through yaw sensors, g force sensors, speed sensors, the Nav system, the Bluetooth system, the airbag system, etc. When John Baldacci was governor here, he and his state police driver were in an accident. He claimed he was wearing his seatbelt, a forensic analysis of the SRS system said otherwise.

Expand full comment

I heard a news report that Ford is seeking a patent for technology that will not only monitor the speed and acceleration patterns of the Ford car but of cars around them. That data is to be sold to insurance companies and possibly police departments. I was already disappointed in them going all in on electric vehicles. Now they want to spy on not just their customers, but every driver on the road!

I think most car manufacturers have similar apps imbedded in their onboard computers. Hyundai calls theirs Blue Link. I stopped it when the subscription ran out.

Aug 17·edited Aug 17

Pretty sure ALL car makers have the data transferred, whether you have any subscription or not. It is an unending data stream of any and all data about your car as well as any cellphone data if you link up to the bluetooth. I would estimate the car companies get $5-10 a month from selling the data. You are paying $750 a month in insurance for a $50k car, and State Farm is insuring the risk of shelling out $20k for repairs or $$ in liability claims, $120 in annual data fees from $9000 in annual insurance premiums.......Win-Win!! only you just get a 'car payment' where everyone else has their hands in your pocket....

The Secret Servix sent the D minus team to Butler, messed up on every security protocol known to man and mouse, and then the local cops took out the shooter? I’m sure it’s all a coincidence. They aren’t traitors. Like Biden, who is totally not demented, at his final debate, they just had a really bad day.

ITEM 28: CNN reported, “Supreme Court rejects Biden administration’s request to enforce new civil rights protections for LGBTQ+ students.”

Rights, whether civil rights, human rights or individual rights are a declaration, an assertion regarding equal protection before the law, equal protection under the law, irrespective.
