Daniel Penny manslaughter charge dismissed as jury breaks for weekend. Not totally out of the grasp, but looks like at least 1 juror will prevent a conviction. In a just world, he would be credited for saving lives, not taking one.

Expand full comment

The juror is a hero, too.

And now we have a congressman who has nominated Penny for a Gold Star which he certainly deserves for his successful effort to protect those subway passengers. Alvin Bragg deserves a big lump of coal to accompany his loss of yet another case that should have never been brought.

We are winding down on the Biden administration thankfully.

I really think the Dems underestimated how stupid and vengeful he truly is. He has been known to be stupid since he flunked 3rd grade. Things haven’t improved since then.

Joe has one thought in mind at all times…Joe. If he could have figured out a way to grab all the money he has without involving his family he would have.

If he needs to throw someone under the bus to save his butt, he will.

Joe will go down as the biggest fraud to live in the White House but he’s not the worst President ever.

Obama , who set this entire thing in motion, will always be the worst.

ITEM 22: Patrick Webb tweeted, “The Biden White House is considering preemptive pardons for those in Trump’s crosshairs . . ."

They wouldn't be doing this if they weren't guilty but the lunatic leftists are too stupid - or tuned out - to understand and admit this.

The Repubs should stop talking about it in the nomination process, perhaps even suggest they would never do it, and then nail every one of the bastards who tried to steal this country from 2020 to 2024 under corrupt and traitorous Joe Biden.

For any attorneys in this reading audience, can one explain how it could be possible to forgive someone for something they haven't been charged with? Isn't a pardon a forgiveness of a conviction? Without a conviction, how can there be any type of pardon?

If they invoke such an invented thing, I hope the Supreme Court weighs in.

Only God can forgive all sins past, present, and future. Dems think they are now on the same plane as God almighty?

Expand full comment

Yes but the GOP will do nothing but fundraise off of it. All talk no action. No one believes anything Johnson and Comer say anymore. The real problem in this country is one party who lives outside the law and the other who allows it.

Reddog, we've made incredible progress in the last several years, especially in the last 6 months (since the first assassination attempt). The election showed them America is pissed and they will act on that if invited to be engaged.

Ford issued such a blanket pardon to Nixon because he wanted to forestall the Nixon haters from continuing to pursue their nemesis for the good of the cuntry. Healing, and all that, don'tchaknow. Nobody sought to challenge the legality of such a deal. Back in 1886, the SC decided that the power granted to the president under Article 2

Ooops--allow me to continue. ... included past criminal acts, whether charged or not, but later, it limited this broad grant to exclude future crimes and offnses. Good thing, too, since a blanket grant of immunity for future crimes would be carte blanche for every kind of mischief. Of course, the power only extends to crimes against the United States, and does not extend to crimes over which the individual states have jurisdiction.

Thank you, Steve.

If invoked, our only hope is to take advantage of their loss of their 5th amendment right of no self-incrimination and make them tell the truth of their traitorous behavior - expose it widely - and charge them with perjury if they are caught in a lie.

Sadly the VA is hopelessly corrupted because it is so difficult to fire people. This is a microcosm of our federal government. Public employees should not be allowed to unionize!

I think the VA is yet another place DOGE is looking for wasteful spending to cut - they have such a rich target before them, but with Elon and Vivek in the lead and according to the interview I listened to with Vivek at the CFO gathering, they have a lot of other people who for the present are unnamed but will be revealed come Jan 20 who have already signed on to join their project. Regarding the polls, the word "lady" had me going with Jill vs. Michelle (aka Big Mike). You know what I mean. In the Joy Reid poll, it was clear the Barney and Friends was the right choice since Reid is already a dinosaur and soon to be extinct.

Items 18 and 23 basically indicate that FJB has already abdicated the White House and PDJT is acting as our President. It would be great if we could move Inauguration Day up to December 25th and give the whole country a huge Christmas present.

My wife asked me if I would jump on a polar bear to save her life. I replied "of course". Luckily, I live in Arizona. (I would jump on the polar bear, but about all that would do is give her 10 seconds to run away. Have you any idea how big a polar bear is? BIggest bears out there.)

I didn't realize Tennessee was so freaky. I also didn't realize that there were 32 women working at the VA that somebody would want to have sex with. Your tax dollars at work.
