I always enjoy your weekly updates. Depressing but very informative, too. Thank you for going to the work of showing us the true state of our society.

We are all living at an exciting time. We are living through, in real time, societal collapse. I'm about your age and when I was in high school one of our required readings was Gibbon's "Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire". He made many accurate observations of why it happened, but the most salient one was that it was not surprising that it fell, but it took so long to do so. Ours is falling down right now and it's accelerating, with the violence and moral rot and decay spread throughout almost all of our institutions. We don't have a couple of centuries to work with. This has been brought about by three terms of Obama and his gang of communists, Islamcists, anarchists, fascists, gangsters, thieves, sexual deviants, and corrupt Republicans who have allowed these types to take over everything.

Bismarck, the founder of the modern German state, observed that God watches out for drunks and the United States of America. Perhaps He will save us from our foibles, sin, and stupidity, as so many of these criminals were elected to office. But we should place our faith in God, but keep our powder dry, and pray he grants us grace inspite of ourselves.

Well said. Sharing your same sentiments and fearing for the future generation's existence as Americans of what been inherited by us, my greatest fear is that they have no idea of what's really happening. And consequently, will take no action to correct the course of our nation suicide by neglect and ignorance. God help us all. FJB and Barry Soetoro

It would be nice if we would halt all further aid to Ukraine until the Open the Books and we get an audit of where all the cash went. In fact, that should be part of all foreign aid. I'm not the president so I can't be impeached for suggesting that.

No reflection on the people of Russia or the people of Ukraine, but they are each governed by thugs....just a modernized, expanded version of wars between our crime families which afflicted this country after we foolishly made alcohol illegal. It has only gotten worse with the so-called "war on drugs" which likely explains much of the sudden wealth acquired by our political class who seem to be able to turn a pig's ear into a silk purse.

I guess I am being a bit of a hypocrite since our current government is only a slightly more sophisticated government of thugs.

1. After watching the “ demonstrations” last night, I wonder if the phrase from the river to the sea is talking about New York City rather than Israel? I’m disgusted that the New York City police told the Jews to shelter in place.

Basically the same shit at MIT now. MIT. Has everybody lost their ever loving minds? We are importing the assassins who will kill Americans.

It’s insanity.

Can you imagine thousands of people rioting in the streets of America saying kill all the Christians or kill all the Blacks? This is just barbarism, and the “authorities” do essentially nothing. Object lesson in how things don’t change.

Expand full comment

It’s just like in Chicago. No one cares if Black people kill Black people. No one cares if Arabs killed Arabs. How many Houthi’s were killed in Yemen I think it’s 400,000? How many Muslims were killed in Darfur and Somalia etc. etc. etc. but if one white guy shoots a black guy or one Jew kills a Palestinian, all hell breaks loose. MIT is not going to do anything about the Jew haters since they don’t want them deported.

Expand full comment

More specifically, Leftists don't care if Black people kill other Black people. Because Leftists don't care about people. I care if Black people kill Black people in Chicago. You probably are against that too. Same thing for whenever one of the Left's other identity victim groups misbehave. Arabs and other Muslims who are a hot commodity right now on the Left, (until they cut everybody's heads off) can't do anything bad. It's not possible according to the victim-oppressor model of politics, and if they do something unpleasant, it's because you made them through colonialism or whiteness or eating falafel or some other micro-aggression.

But Black on Black violence doesn't suit the misery Socialist narrative, so they studiously ignore it, because they want the Black vote, which they get with fake promises of economic benefits, and fake gestures of solidarity with the worst people in the Black Community. Wouldn't it be nice if Democrats celebrated successful, happy Black people in traditional families instead of dipshits like Louis Farrakhan or Al Sharpton? You''ll never see that. It does nothing for their grievance based political con game.

To be accurate, a dedicated Commie, like a dedicated Nazi, is motivated by political ideology, not by religious affiliation. Which is why it’s absurd to criticize George Soros for the fact that he was born into a Jewish family or to be offended by comments about Soros’ religion if you are a Jew. Soros is a Commie, who doesn’t identify as a Jew. Liberal Jews, who are not Commies btw, are the ones who are shocked right now. These are the people who are otherwise intelligent, but have half baked ideas about reality and go along to get along. They are useful idiots. Those of us on the right side of things are not. The hard left is the minority, but they are the most vocal and have in the past 20 years gained a lot of traction politically because they further the NWO agenda. Many liberal Jews will now abandon their fashionable flirtation with the Left. Some won’t and like any other idiot, that’s their problem. In America we should all be Americans first. In the past that was never even a question.

Yes, just like people whose heritage is Irish or French or whatever, we all gave a soft spot for the old country, the homeland of our ancestry. However when the powers that be engage in identity politics and Commie racist demographics, then as a matter of survival now demographics can’t be ignored. Jews can’t afford to be stupid. We are held to a different standard. Your comment reflects that. Nobody asks why Christians vote for Democrats- who hate Christians btw. The solution is to get rid of DEI, to reduce identity Marxist ideology to a fringe nutcase ideology once again. That has to happen by firing a lot of professors and media people and by teaching America’s traditional values. This is happening because decent people don’t stand up against tyrants. It’s gonna get to everybody soon enough. They aren’t going to stop with Jews. If you are of white European ancestry or Asian in many cases, and not a Commie, you have a problem too.

The rebuilding of the military after Viet Nam was one of the biggest undertakings in our history, because it involved fundamental changes in doctrine, training, and equipment. It produced the best and most highly trained and effective military ever seen on this earth. I witnessed it and was a part of it. Now I look at what is going on and see all that improvement being discarded for the sake of some mythical cultural doctrine no one can functionally explain. I suspect the same nitwit PR gal who single handedly ruined the Bud Lite brand is now advising the DoD.

My nephew will be graduating in a yr or two and wanted to go Air Force. Now he is not according to his dad. Serving used to be a great way to get some discipline and get money for an education. Now the Army is playing their version of the Clydesdale commercial hoping to lure all the sons/daughters of all the people they trashed, kicked out back into service.

I knew the military had changed since my Army career but it really hit home when they decided that they would rather kick someone out, regardless of rank, time served or anything else, to uphold the scam that was the covid vaccine. There were as many experts screaming that it was dangerous and flawed as there were experts claiming it was perfectly safe and effective, yet the latter was promoted service wide and the former was silenced and disregarded. You know what that told everyone in uniform? It said your career and dedication means nothing to us! I was so furious my wife threatened to lock me in a closet till I calmed down so I wouldn't have a stroke or something. The leadership at the top of the military saluted and went along with this charade because they were more worried about their careers than the people serving in the ranks. That is something I have never seen in my lifetime except in the USSR when they were still together. How many retiree's and others who served saw the same thing and are now turning their kids and grandchildren away from a military career or service? There needs to be a housecleaning in the Pentagon and every HQ where these so-called leaders are. Biden, Austin, Milley, Jake Sullivan, and many more who pushed this scam should be fired, demoted and kicked out of the service if still there. That was the worst insult ever done to the members of our armed services and I for one will never forgive them for it. America deserves and has far better leadership than those now in power. He was brilliant as Trump's defense attorney in the impeachment. By nature, I don't think he will rush into these big things (like J6 prisoners, release of the J6 tapes, border, even Trump's persecution by lawfare, etc.). For now, I expect that when he does move on these, he will move thoroughly and very effectively.

While all you are saying may very well be true, it’s all the behind back door crap that’s created the dysfunctional government we have today.

We need TRANSPARENCY. We need someone OUT THERE exposing to the people just how awful and outrageous the spending has become in every facet of the government and how that’s crippling the economy.

Republicans never do that. They need a GODZILLA like PR firm to make the case to the people because they so suck at messaging at all.

Expand full comment

Also, there are SO, SO, SO, many urgent things to do, he has to be careful about 'scattering his fire and not hitting the mark'. I would be concerned if he went wild rushing into alot of heavy stuff. Remember, there is a sword hanging over the House of Representatives-- the Dems voted IN UNANIMOUS LOCKSTEP to elect hardcore Marxist Hakeem Jeffries as Speaker, and they have 212 votes in the House.

Also, the Democrats are in the midst of a very public splintering of their party over Hamas-- and if Johnson did a bunch of dramatic, controversial stuff, they would be thrilled to re-focus the media on that and gloss over their own disturbing intra-party bloodbath.

Expand full comment

We need a sense of urgency and some spin because the Dems constantly are on the offensive. When the narrative is working for them, they try to implement more garbage. One of the benefits of attacking them, even if you don’t get everything you want is that you put them on the defensive and change the polls. But Republicans never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity. Most of these GOP guys are better suited to working in a corporate office than slugging it out politically.

Good morning, all.

To all of our veterans here, and all those unknown to us, who have signed that blank check: Thank you for you service, and Blessed Be.

My Dad was a combat veteran out of the Korean conflict. Reached the rank of Master Sargent very quickly. I understand that he was involved in training recruits as well. He lost his squad to enemy action on a May 20; I am unsure what year, as that was a subject we didn't discuss. PTSD and survivor's guilt drove him into a bottle. Growing up with him was an adventure in uncertainties...

He found sobriety in 1977.

My Mother welcomed him back into her arms much later, after being divorced for many years. It was like watching the high school kids they were, when they first fell in love.

He passed suddenly on March 21, 2000. His heart finally had enough.

At the time of his passing, he was the most balanced man I had ever met, having worked through his traumas, and helping other men and women like him get sober and deal with their traumas; and, he was back in the life and arms of his high school Sweetheart.

The best part, for me anyway, was being in Recovery with him for the last nine and a half years of his life. We had a wonderful Father/Son relationship, even if was a little late in coming.

If you or a family member have served, I am truly grateful for your service.

If you are struggling with PTSD/substance abuse, there is help, and a way forward that doesn't involve taking your own life. Please don't give up!

In fond remembrance of Richard, attached to the 187th Airborne, gone too soon.

Known terror-linked activists? How is this allowed in American politics? It should be illegal. If this were reversed and it was Trump, the RNC would impose sanctions and the media would be non-stop chatter about Trump's nefarious ties.

As we all wonder how things got so bad in our country, we can see the invasion of muslims trying to destroy our government from the inside out - and taking great liberties in promoting their positions that are rarely confronted.

It’s not even just Muslims; they’re just the “flavor of the day”.

Every enemy country of the entire Western world is IN THIS COUNTRY right now because we have NO BORDER.

This country is a ticking time bomb which could go off at any minute! The only question is will the crash of the economy come first.

Buckle up.

My bet: The crash comes first. Then, the riots. We’ll be really weakened so the riots (i.e. looting) can cause maximum damage. The crash will immobilize most of us worse than the COVID shutdown. That's why our fellow commenter, Chuck Goldman, constantly reminds us to load up on ammo.

#28 - Guess The New Republic & The Rolling Stones should hire an Hamas-APP photographer to go into the J6 zone and sneak a pic of that Christian Nationalist flag outside the new Speakers office. While on the subject, isn’t new super-MAGA Mike Speaker now in charge of the 8,000 strong murderous Capital PoPo force? Has he dealt justice to the perpetrators Pelosi used to imprison citizens W/O a hearing? The J6 gulag political prisoners? WhatsUp there Mr Super rule of Law Mister Speaker? Instead of bombarding me with deleted-account WinRed $$$ asks……DO YOUR DAMN JOB and ENFORCE the Constitution!

Freeing the J6 political prisoners and dealing with the corrupt police, politicians, prosecutors and judges should be #1 priority. This should never happen in this country

Exactly! Never, ever trust a Republican.

Pelosi was only nominally in charge of the Capitol Police because its chief deferred to her.

Actually Capitol Police are overseen by the House of Representatives, via specific committees.

“ These committees are categorized into two oversight groups with varying authorities: appropriations committees and authorizing committees.

The oversight provided by these four committees affords the Department the support and opportunity to continually ensure that the USCP meets the safety and security needs of the Congress, the staff, and the many visitors who come to the United States Capitol each day.”

So, technically, yes, Pelosi as Speaker most definitely had authority over the USCP as leader of the House at the time, as now does Johnson.

Bottom line is: as Keepers of the Purse of the entire Federal government the House has technical Authority over every agency, bureau, branch and Department, as they determine whether they get funded or not.

It is a reality that seems to escape Republicans consciousness.
