Our “government” is no better than Russia and probably worse. From Fake elections, Fake Presidents, illegal immigration, support of terrorists(antifa/BLM), Starting Fake Wars(Vietnam/Iraq,Afghanistan, Ukraine), subverting civil rights. Locking up Political opponents(Trump J6) etc. Russia sucks as well however at least Putin is the head and protects the Eastern Orthodox Church.

really, it is stupid. They bitch about stereotypes, then the left uses stereotypes to make the kids into something they are not. Sometimes a kid just likes to play with something different or change their favorite color. My favorite color was blue, the orange, then purple. I was not a boy because I like blue.

It isn’t that simple. If it were, people like Biden and Newsom wouldn’t have any fake issues to scam and divide us with.

Never, ever trust a Republican. Is there anyone who doesn't now see what a corrupt, uni-party saboteur McCarthy really is? Gaetz was 100% correct in pushing this worthless "Republican" turd out!

12/09/23: "McCarthy is the quarterback sneak."

SCORE!

A better beating than even the following, an actual event:

In the Army-Navy game today, the over/under was 27.5 points.

My friend will take it from there:

"UGH! Army stopped Navy on the 1 yard line... with 3 seconds left they purposely ran backwards [in their own end zone], ran out the clock, [and thus won the game by intentionally giving] Navy 2 points..."

[Final Score, Army 17, Navy 11, which made the combined final score 28 points; the Under "27.5", which looked great until about 2 minutes left in the game, is a loser.]

"THAT is a tough beat!"

Yup. But not as bad as the ass-whoopin' Gaetz gave McCarthy.

Item 17: What planet are we living on? Sec of Defense Austin is delusional. The war in Ukraine is not threatening us unless we provoke Russia. Russia is not an overt threat to the US. You would never hear the word Russia were it not for them possessing nukes. They have a stagnate economy, a rusting and outdated military that is poorly trained, and are in no way similar to the old USSR. So on what legitimate grounds could troops be sent there as combatants? We are not talking about NATO being attacked here. The only reason they would consider doing this is to prolong this war whose outcome was already decided at the onset. Ukraine was never going to win this war. It is being used to deplete Russias outdated military and get Putin ousted. But Biden and his thugs never learned anything from history. The Russians are tougher than us. People who have never had true freedom or any wealth have far less to lose than a country like us. Their frames of reference are much different than ours. Putin represents stability to the Russian people. I would hope that even Democrats see the absurdity of sending troops to fight a war of no strategic importance to us. Austin needs to be impeached along with his boss and most of that administration. They have vastly over estimated the publics willingness to accept another corrupt war that would rapidly escalate to nuclear war. Meanwhile, our real threat, China, sits back and laughs.

Expand full comment

Yes to your statement that the war "is being used to deplete Russia's outdated military and get Putin ousted"-- and it is also being used to deplete America's military equipment and supplies and finances. China must be delighted, and may have even been the instigation behind Biden and the Left pursuing this in the first place. Remember how heavy the Left media and everyone on the Left unanimously jumped on board to trumpet the need to "help Ukraine".

They can't account for where all the money we have given them has gone.

We're even paying for Ukranian pensions.

And now Zelensky is assassinating his political opposition.

The entire thing stinks. Not one more penny.

You said it all. The US government still thinks like it did in the 60-70’s when they fought the cold war with the idea that we would outspend Russia and it worked. But we are not America pf the 60’s anymore. We cannot afford it anymore than the Russians. This administration has a death wish for our country I fear.

ITEM 9: Mediaite reported, “Jack Smith Drops Bombshell Filing Promising Proof Of Trump ‘Encouragement of Violence’ — And Knowledge Of ‘Consequences.’”

This strategy by Mr. Smith is actually a two-edged sword.

It opens the door - if the President’s lawyers choose to walk through it - to introduce actual reams of evidence of fraud in the 2020 election as defense.

Whether in that DC kangaroo court it would be considered admissible is doubtful, but it would thus open another door for Appeal, who would then have to consider it under those circumstances.

Either way, this will drag on for years - as intended by the Left - but by no means guarantees a win for the prosecution, and quite possibly opening a can of worms they’d rather leave shut and buried.

In an article "Explaining the First Amendment to University Presidents,"

:https://www.israelnationalnews.com/news/381594

Nathan Lewin writes, "Shockingly the Presidents of Harvard, Penn, and MIT do not know that the First Amendment does not protect antisemitic hate speech or support for terrorism."

"Harvard’s president Claudine Gay repeatedly declared that her university will act only “when speech crosses into conduct.” She might be surprised to learn that not a single Supreme Court justice agrees with her.

"Indeed, it is unlikely that the three presidents have bothered to read the most recent definition of First Amendment speech guarantees as expressed by all nine Supreme Court Justices, albeit in various opinions. Not one of the justices believes that threats and incitement have blanket constitutional protection and cannot be punished unless they “cross into conduct.”

Thank you Don Surber for an entertaining look back at the mostly disturbing events taking place in our country we used to be proud of.

In this article,, "The Future’s Zero-Sum Game," J. B. Shurk writes

"Let’s imagine that a complete societal collapse occurs in the near future. With New York high school students hunting down their teachers for supporting Israel, the FBI continuing its own hunt of J6 political protesters, and rising violent crime throughout the United States, this scenario does not seem so remote.

Unfettered illegal immigration and the replacement of Western civilization with a suicidal devotion to some amorphous, multicultural pustule have shattered the unifying bonds of a shared culture. Institutionalized racism in the form of government, academic, and corporate DEI initiatives that have replaced merit with skin color and oppression index scores has divided the population even further. The demonization of mainstream political opinion as “extremist,” “far right,” or even as prima facie evidence for “domestic terrorism” has ensured that roughly one-half of the body politic can no longer express its views without threats of criminal sanction and career retaliation.

"Any American who opposes Marxist globalism, Deep State imperialism, bureaucratic tyranny, or central bank money manipulation is labeled a threat. Any American who strenuously defends free speech, religious liberty, private property, the right to self-defense, and any other personal freedom that guards the individual against intrusions from the State is labeled a threat. Any American who objects to the global elites’ obsession with “global warming” or who believes real science is never capable of reaching a dogmatic “consensus” is labeled a threat. In other words, the U.S. government and its globalist allies view at least a couple hundred million Americans as “enemies of the State.”

The article is deeply truthful and profoundly disturbing. The disturbing part is feeling we have been disempowered, our sovereign power having been usurped by government entities.

I have had many ups and downs in my life, and long periods of difficulty, and each time I have found a way to climb back up and renew my life with vigor. I am grateful that my family is intact, that I have been able to reach the age of being a grandmother, and have two beautiful grandsons whose smiles bring me joy. But I ache for what we have lost as a country and wonder how we will gain it back so we will all have something beautiful to leave to our grandchildren.

The article by John Lucas that Don linked for Item 34, about the air traffic controllers, was excellent and worth spreading around. A year or two ago, Tucker Carlson had a story about the air traffic controllers Union, which had instituted a new "scoring system" for applicants, which (for example) gave points for having an underprivileged background and playing sports in school. Under this new system, a white guy--who had wanted to be an air traffic controller since he was a kid, and had two degrees in aeronautics-- did NOT make the cut, and was suing the Union. Tucker had his attorney on twice, but I haven't seen any reporting since about how the lawsuit turned out. (PS, this is the same air traffic controllers Union that Reagan had trouble with and broke their strike with by firing them all.)

But the article linked to this morning showed that this situation has gotten even worse. Now it isn't just the Union instituting DEI, but our flagrantly incompetent Transportation Secretary--Pete Buttigieg--who has also now instituted strict and utterly insane DEI requirements through the FAA for air traffic controllers. It's worse than you can imagine.

Combine that with these other facts:

--Al-Qaeda has threatened our aviation system during the past year, but Biden has withdrawn the Air Marshalls and sent them to process illegals at the border;

--the forced COVID vaccination of pilots and (1) the resulting shortages as many pilots refused to comply and left, and (2) the increase in instances of pilots having heart attacks in the cockpit, and in some instances died (one just after they landed and pulled in to the gate);

--the FAA (Buttigieg again) addressing the shortage of pilots by lowering the cardiac health standards for pilots nationwide, because there are fewer pilots who can meet the original standard;

--And, as has been reported several places, the VERY definite and alarming upsurge in near misses and other dangerous incidents.

More people in the country need to become aware of the extreme incompetence and mismanagement of the Left. The Left is dominated by out-of-touch-with-reality ideologues, and they destroy everything they touch.

Liz Cheney is going to run a quad- negative campaign. The person whose family is generational Neocon Republicans in Name Only is going to run as a Non*republican and Non Democrat to NOT win the presidency, so that the American people canNOT get the president they want to win.

And rather than run to allow people to vote FOR her, and FOR some outstanding policies she should want to offer us to make the country a wonderful place, she wants people to vote AGAINST Trump by voting for her, showing how deeply she has absolutely nothing to show for her generational time in govt.

She is going out of her way to thwart the will of the people. She is tripling down on her lies of the J6 committee after she illegally allowed them to destroy evidence.

This woman is the most narcisistic, selfish (repetitive, I know), vile human being.

Her slogan should be "Vote for me so I can get what I want, and you get, and get to vote for, absolutely nothing!"

If you vote for her, or any third party candidate that won't get enough votes to beat the 2 party system, you may as well just vote for the opponent of your own party, as it is basically the same effect. (I have frequently voted third party presidentially, myself, and see it's usefulness at times, but there is too much of a political divide this time. Trump is not a RINO like Bush and Cheney were, and you were essentially getting a Dem with a RINO costume on. This time, the stakes are far higher.)
