Geraldine should get the $15k back since they tried to steal her share, and the thieves should be in jail. Private sector companies and individuals that engage in the same behavior would, especially if the people involved had the wrong politics.
It made me smile to see one of your timeless golden oldies “Hamas-shielding AP”. Make me happy with a Trumpenfreude rerun, “Best of Surber’s Trumpenfreude” or even a special column with all of them!

I sarcastically voted that I would announce my presidential run while on the golden escalator. In reality you would hopefully announce your run in every paper in US and on every news channel. In essence it’s what President Trump did by way of the escalator ride. The man knows how to spread the news in a big way.

I think it would be cool if all (red) state legislators passed a law that said if you make it past AGE 90 (or even past 80?) and you still own your own home, you ARE EXEMPT FROM REAL ESTATE TAXES.
