8 - there is so much new material for both movies.

The tin man will marry the scarecrow and Dorothy will sing “If I only had a schlong”.

For Its A Wonderful Life, George could also organize flash mobs to clean out all of the stores in town.

In a true fun fact: In 1947, the FBI issued a memo noting the film as a potential “Communist infiltration of the motion picture industry,” citing its “rather obvious attempts to discredit bankers by casting Lionel Barrymore as a ‘Scrooge-type’ so that he would be the most hated man in the picture. This, according to these sources, is a common trick used by Communists.

In the reboot Trump will be cast as the banker.

In other news of the week: We lost our home to a fire. It turns out that my community wants to help whether we need it or not. We are almost overwhelmed with food, we are overwhelmed with love. I have been convinced that this Country has a great future. Support your local firefighters, they are heroic and caring. Our only loss were material things. Our computers were backed up and our insurance was paid up. We live in a great country.

Has she (the judge in this video) plagiarized anything? I hope so, because a year ago, plagiarism became a "must-have" on your resume.

That is, if you were of a certain race only. Otherwise, a big no-no. Senator Kennedy, would you be kind enough to ask her? We can't keep Cambridge waiting, you know.

Among other things, the president of Harvard must preside over hearings to determine whether or not students who have been caught plagiarizing or otherwise stealing should be expelled from the university.

Let's speed this thing along and help them out.

Eleventeenth amendment, I like that! Item 17; I'm beginning to think that if anything, a college education makes people dumber. Have you ever watched those man on the street interviews with college students? Holy shit are they stupid! Item 34; I believe that in most cases if a woman sues a man for rape in civil court for money instead of going to the cops and filing criminal charges she is probably lying. Last item; The 1960's feminist movement flat out told women that they didn't need a man for anything. It told all of us that women were just like men and could and should do everything men do. Women have found out that men don't get treated very nice by society and being just like a man ain't all its cracked up to be. Men on the other hand have recently discovered that being a woman is great! I still hold the door for women, but would be hesitant to go up to a woman I didn't know in a parking lot and offer to help her with her groceries. Next thing you know there's a tiktok video of her talking about some creep guy hitting on her or stalking her and that she's not some little lady who needs help from a man despite having a broken arm. It's really too bad.

Expand full comment

Yeah, but, here in Texas, that's a risk I'll take. How to do it... Stop a few feet away and ask it she's like some help. If she says, "No thanks," say, "Okay," and butt out, even if she's rude. My wife convinced me that women feel vulnerable nearly everywhere they go. Not being a creep is one small step for man... and very much appreciated by our womenfolk. Regarding the feminist twits...there's no hope for those dumbbells.

One more highlight-First execution by nitrogen hypoxia did not go well. Solution: death by firing squad, within 60 days of guilty verdict, held in a football stadium, proceeds to victim’s family. Bread and Circuses

Changing capital punishment from an expression of sovereign justice to a medical procedure does nothing to increase respect for the law. Likewise, dragging out the punishment for a very open-and-shut murder for 35 years makes the law a laughingstock.

It's my opinion that the only cruel punishment that should be banned is life in prison. ( Or any sentence longer than 20 years.) Convert all life sentences to death. Select a method of execution that guarantees they are dead on completion and make sure everyone convicted in that state is executed in the same manner, and as you said, within 60 days.

Last, if a liar err lawyer wants to protest the method, have that liar execute his client by any method he chooses BUT place an explosive collar around his neck and assure him that if he isn't done in 24 hours that the collar will be detonated.

Last, film it and show it to every second time felon.

#1: "The court did this under the Eleventeenth Amendment, which says the government can do anything it wants as long as a Democrat is president."

Indeed - but then, should we have expected anything different from a SCOTUS with Roberts as the CJ?

JC-B remains the most notable disappointment thus far until Kavanaugh shows his true colours.

The SCOTUS ruling notwithstanding, per the suggestion of another fellow subscriber and commenter, Texas' response has been essentially, "Pound sand."

"On Friday, however, Paxton rebuffed that demand, saying Texas state officials would not allow DHS to turn the area into an 'unofficial and unlawful port of entry.'

'Your request is hereby denied,' Paxton wrote in his letter.

Paxton pledged to continue 'Texas's efforts to protect its southern border against every effort by the Biden Administration to undermine the State's constitutional right of self-defense.'"

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/texas-attorney-general-ken-paxton-refuses-federal-agents-access-shelby-park-eagle-pass-border/

#3: VP Camel(a) Harris MUST truly believe that to be the case - how else can that response be explained? She seems to be constitutionally incapable of perceiving reality.

It's almost enough to warrant some sympathy from me - ALMOST.

#5: Both nuts AND bolts having gone missing is a recipe for disaster regardless of circumstances.

While Boeing undoubtedly bears some responsibility, and clearly needs to improve its QC/QA, it begs the question: why was this, and other critical issues not detected by the airline's ground crew and maintenance staff?

#6: "There are no coincidences in politics, only patterns."

Holy sh*t! Transportation Secretary Pete Buttplug the sodomite's mission must be to destroy as much of the nation's consumer transportation industry and infrastructure as possible while JoeBama finishes the work of the first sodomite president to destroy the US from within by facilitating Cloward-Piven.

#8: Whoever green-lighted the destruction of Frank Capra's, "It's A Wonderful Life", and all involved need to be ended before it can proceed any further.

#9: I thank God every day that I live in Texas and not California - that being said, I am 100% with the extremist gun lobby.

#12: Agreed! I want to see the looks on their faces!

#15: "...we tossed all that tea into the salty waters of Boston harbor only to be sold out by Biden 254 years later."

Truth.

#16: That's a sweeter and easier gig than being a RINO in the senate - she will have to do literally nothing while the first sodomite president's ministers in his shadow government identify where they can most easily manufacture the bogus ballots to steal THIS election.

#17: Clearly, Mr. Hanania is desperately in need of a frontal lobotomy.

#22: I would say it's a shame that the Baseball Hall of Fame is a joke, but it's earned it.

Allowing former Phillie Mike S*h*i*t to singlehandedly freeze out Ron Santo until he died, and then to posthumously induct him exposed the "institution" as a sham, at best.

#25: Here comes Big Mike to save the day.

#27: Just another illustration why actors and other celebrities in the post-15-minutes-of-fame phase of their careers should just be content with the occasional cameo on a sitcom.

#28: Nope. She exposed and brought down a corrupt Arizona Republican Party official - but I repeat myself.

#31: "Those rednecks in South Carolina are so bigoted, they elected her governor."

TWICE!

#32: "Google blocked ads on one story at Issues & Insights. Google said the story had 'Dangerous or derogatory content'...been there, done that and moved to Substack. I thank readers for their support."

...and *I* thank you for doing so, Brother Don - otherwise yours might never have been recommended to me by another fellow subscriber.

#33: Thank God for a Senator Kennedy of whom we can be proud!

#34: Hoping for two things:

1. That it gets thrown out on appeal

2. She actually experiences that which she accused Trump of doing so that she truly knows what it is to be raped.

Broken arm or no, is Ms. Harrington clear on just what it is to be a conservative? It seems not.

Tricky Nikki Hillary the Quikki's marital unhappiness is her business. I, for one, couldn't care any less than I do, now. I didn't care before, and I still don't care.

WARNING the invasion coming from the west is a greater danger than the one from the south. You can't prevent the commiefornians from voting to destroy your adopted home.

The father of a friend operated a gas station in Eastern South Dakota. Tourists rushing to Rushmore would ask whether the indians were on the war path. One day they hauled in a car that some teenagers had used for target practice.

Andy's dad went to the hardware store, bought several dozen target arrows and stuck them in the bullet holes.

After that he'd just tell them to have a look out back. Most that did hightailed it back to Minnesota and parts east.

AI can code, but has never been demonstrated to run heavy equipment without assistance from a human, or maybe at all.
