If you buck the bureaucracy, then they punish you. If you are a small business owner, salaried employee not on the government payroll or in a union , you are getting screwed. The way to make money as a doctor is to shill for pharma, bilk the insurance companies, or shill for the federal COVID biosecurity apparatus. Honest, productive people are punished. That’s why quality, pride of workmanship, and follow through are currently hard to find. The grifters from BLM got $100,000,000 in donations for their Marxist, back supremacy, LGBTQ con job. Meanwhile a cop can’t be a cop and a doctor can’t be a doctor unless they kowtow to the political commissars.
09-10-23: On the corner of Williams Avenue and Route 17 in Hasbrouck Heights, N.J., stands a huge, almost vacant shopping mall. (Google Maps, type in "Goldberg's Bagels," H.H., N.J.).
Pre-2020, this was a thriving business, with an enormous gymnasium, 24 Hour Super Fitness Sport, and various smaller stores, all profitable (with about 15,000 cars passing by each day on Route 17, including all the direct traffic coming from/ going to Giants Stadium).
2020: N.J. Governor Mengele's fascist state government shut down all the pay-for-gyms, including the one above (that you can see on Google Maps). The owners of the gyms fought back and were crushed.
Since 2020, the mall has limped along. The gym itself became some garbage called the "Aviation Institute of Maintenance" (Teterboro airport is nearby).
Click on that name on the Google Map, and look at the photos to see what "replaced" tens of thousands of annual paying customers at 24 Hour Super Fitness (looks like a "diploma mill" to me) and the other stores sites, now vacant.
We drove past the mall site today.
Tumbleweeds in the parking lot.
And a huge sign on the corner stating that the entire mall is for sale.

Summed up perfectly. Thank you.
