ITEM 13: Scripps News reported, “Average age of vehicles operating in the U.S. hits record high of 12.6 years.”

I would like to see the plot of raw age data for cars on the road. While the average may be 12.6 years, there must be two peaks in the distribution (i.e. bimodal). One is for cars that are older than 12.6 years that I see most people driving and the other peak is very young cars, mostly the Mercedes, Alpha Romeos, Land Rovers, some Tesla Model S, Maserati cars.

In other words, the car inventory is a close match to the "Haves" and "Have nots" in this Bidenomic era.

And no free charging stations!! Unless I get an equivalent gas card to use.

The student loan payoffs make me so angry because our family denied many vacations so our kids could graduate debt free without using loans or grants. Biden owes my wife and me a few hundred thousand dollars.

"Free"?? What is this "free" that you speak of??

I think there is no such thing, and instead it is "taxpayer paid". 🥴

I don’t drive one but see available free charging in places. Maybe not in Canada.

My objection is to the use of the word "Free".

NOTHING is free. The govt does not make any money (for the most part) and only has the money it TAKES from taxpayers.

SOMEONE is paying for anything that is "Free", and it's typically (always?) the end user, ie. taxpayer.

I’d like to buy a 1965 mustang, and/or a 1975 pacer, but I have not how to get a retrofit combo radio so I can play 8 track Stepoenwolf, Paul Revere and Abba songs; and Bluetooth Shenia Twain and Toby Keith songs.

Failing knocking over a cash-flow strong bank, maybe you could find a computer geek that could put your 8-traks on a thumb drive or a CD for you. I gave my son a converter box for VHS's, Cassettes and 8 trax. Everything is so miniaturized now. Good luck finding the 65 'Stang or the 75 AMC. (We called my BFF's Pacer "the pregnant roller skate.) Right. My husband used to say I was married to my car. Once I try them all out and pick my favorite, I keep it forever or until it costs more to fix than buy a new one. I had a Cadillac for 10 years (a short marriage for me) and traded it in on a sensible basic Chevrolet Cruze in 2014 and added a back up camera. It has 54000 miles on, so is surely good for another 54000. Cheap to maintain, very comfy.

The number 58276 is only a starting point. So much is hidden behind that officially cited number. Omitted are the many thousands poisoned and later killed by Agent Orange related health issues. Omitted are those who lost limbs, sometimes multiple limbs. Omitted are the haunted who still deal/dealt with mental issues. Omitted are the suicides which are finally being acknowledged. Omitted are those who lived postwar lives of hopelessness and drug addiction. And lest we participate in the MSM's game of Cover It Up, let us not forget the 5,000,000 Vietnamese, Cambodians, and Laotians who were murdered by their countrymen after the Dems forced us to abandon them.
