Item 17: My oldest son is one of those 2000 Marines and sailors. What happened to the 11 Marines, 1 Navy corpsman and 1 Army soldier during the Afghanistan debacle reminds me of what our sick government really thinks of our beautiful brave young men and women. I am praying for their safe return.

I am praying along with you. Every day, I am thankful for MEN like your son.

Over a 24-year Naval career, I carried many, many Marines to the far-off corners of the world. I've never met a group of people who were so consistently worthy of respect. Semper Fi.

My prayers are always for our brave sons and daughters keeping the flame of liberty from being extinguished by tyrants both foreign and unfortunately more and more of the domestic variety. Semper Fi salute to your son.

Thank You for your son’s service! May God protect him and all other military personnel! A big Thank You

to all others and their sons and daughters who are currently active, on reserve or who served in all branches. All of the above are loyal patriots. Not so the commander in thief and many of the Joints Chiefs and others so called leaders if our current military.

Thank you all. I am tearing up as I read all your comments. I know my son, like everyone in our armed forces signed up for the job and swore an oath to do what our country asks of them. I wish he wasn't over there, but I know he'll do his duty and have his brother's backs no matter what. We certainly missed him at my father's 80th birthday party yesterday as he was the only grandchild who was absent.

Sheer genius:

Byron Donalds Enters the Ring — First Black Speaker of the House?

Byron and Hakeem duking it out to be a history maker. Is mine bigger than yours? 221 being on record as Republicans or racists. I withdraw my idea of Jordan nominating the Donald and making them vote. There are 9 Republicans. With a 100% Conservative voting record. Byron is one of them. The others are Gosar, Biggs, Good, Roy, Bishop, Boobart(sp), Rosendale, and MTG.

Expand full comment

Love Donalds! He would run rings around the demonicrats and RINOs and the optics of all of them voting against the black guy would be consequential.

Expand full comment

I've been hoping for Byron from the get-go!!! Republicans electing the first black Speaker of the House - ohhhhh how the media will writhe in agony how to ignore THAT news!! 🤣🤣🤣

Expand full comment

Nah...they'll ignore it...he'll be portrayed as not truly black.

Expand full comment

Or ignore that he's black and call him a white supremacist.

Haha! And he's even darker in color than light-skinned Hakeem Jeffries.

Doesn't really matter a bit to us, but is a hard thing for the race-identity-obsessed Democrats to overlook.

"ITEM 27: The House ended its second week without a Speaker... Now Byron Donalds is going to go for it."

EXCELLENT!

"ITEM 8... 'RFK Jr. comes out in favor of reparations, carving out lane to Biden’s left. And to prove it, he forfeited his inheritance to the cause."

I've been waiting for the real RFK Jr. to show up, all the time astonished that people couldn't remember all the off-the-wall (euphemism) crap he was pushing...

Just remember, after his father was assassinated, his mother lodged all the kids in a WDC suburban mansion and let them run amok for years. Hence what we've seen in the past in the Kennedy families and now, this reparations garbage.

"ITEM 13... 'Sidney Powell pleads guilty in case over efforts to overturn Trump’s Georgia loss and gets probation.' "

She WILL be on probation --- for the rest of her life, for being a RAT FINK.

"ITEM 15: Joe Biden lost face in his Middle East visit."

He now looks like cult mass-murderer Marshall Applewhite (1997):

You also remember that as well, eh?* What a load of spit that whole thing was. Everytime I see a hockey score involving the same-named team, I am reminded of this despicable person. Another bad Trump hire, I must admit (his Achilles heel).

[*]On a related note, I had the pleasure of meeting a librarian in Rhinecliff NY this week, and by accident I discovered that we might be the only two people on earth who remember (and we're STILL angry) how Simon And Schuster never apologized for defrauding the public by publishing Steven Ambrose's stolen words (S.A. is the all time American plagiarist. No one even comes close).

I was doing some research last night. Around midnight, a pop up on my screen said that Don liked my comment. Unbelievable. The guy must never sleep. Got me thinking how much I enjoy his brilliant wit, withering sarcasm, and the occasional pun. A man fell into a giant vat of coffee and drowned. His wife said 'he didn't suffer. It was instant'.

I was his first Founding Member. I was in a dark place for a while, and I downgraded. But the sun came out again, and I am once more a proud Founding Member.

If I can do it, you can do it. It's a small price to pay for sharing our thoughts, prayers, opinions, likes, ideas, snarks, and a few essays. It's only Bidenbucks, and we never get ratioed. Be nice to show Don how much we appreciate him. Go Blue.

TEM 16: Trending Views reported, “Republican Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders has signed an executive order banning woke anti-women words in Arkansas government documents, particularly revolving around gender-based terminology. You know, stupid terms like pregnant person.”

POLL

Rachel Maddow told (his) viewers this week that if re-elected, Trump will execute liberals. Is this a good idea or bad?

I seem to recall that during the 2020 election season, Bernie Sanders and his supporters said they'd do the exact same thing about conservatives. The thing was, Sanders supporters never denied it.

#1 - "The Supreme Court on Friday took up Missouri v. Biden..."

SCOTUS stayed a lower court decision against the government, which then appealed to SCOTUS. They are now pondering this major, major issue. You watch; they'll delay, delay, delay to avoid actually ruling on the massive government censorship campaign. SCOTUS absolutely hates solving problems. Instead, they come out with the narrowest of decisions that only chip off a little piece of the issue, leaving plaintiffs to suffer years longer before the case ends up at SCOTUS again only to have another tiny piece chipped off. These are perilous times, requiring SCOTUS to step up and save the republic by doing their damned job and deliver complete, problem-solving decisions, not their usual microscopic, blameless partial decisions. Meanwhile, in this case, because of the stay, the DC cartel is free to continue their censorship jamboree. Can you tell I'm pissed?
