This has got to stop. I can't get anything done anymore watching (and quietly cheering about) everything that Trump does/says which is then followed by all the DemoCommies wailing about it.

And the "resistance", both domestic and foreign, is woefully unprepared for what is going to roll over them. They have convinced themselves for years that Trump is a buffoon, a grifter, etc., etc., so they imagine that they, being smarter than he is, will be able to stop him.

There's not enough popcorn in the world to supply the coming demand.

Celestial works for me. God is obviously running this show and He is answering my every prayer even better than imagined…as usual.

And if you needed a clue He has gifted us with His signature sense of humor. Our hard working 6 day week Don has me LOLing, chortling, giggling, singing along, and DJT happy dancing which is a lot kinder to senior knees than the Twist, even the Mashed Potato or certainly the Bunny Hop and is apparently internationally translatable.

Thanks, Don for another start to a delightful Saturday round-up.

Every Democrat voted against Hegseth- was that the story? No! They 'The MSM' describe it as Trump-o-mania. Hilarious. The fact that not ever Fetterman crossed over ( did not want to be a 'Democrat" Mitt Romney) gives you some idea of the pressure Dems put on to obstruct this nomination And because 3-Republicans dissented they call the opposition Bi-partisan. Idiots. Herding Republicans is harder than herding cats. Herding Democrats is like herding sheep.

"No longer is it about ratings. It is about survival..."

CNN's Russian Hoaxer Alisyn Camerota was bounced out of "her thankless job" at CNN in December 2024. Without a farewell party (sob)...

Ex-CNN CEO Zucker and Gollust --- his Kamala-Harris-in-the-office mistress --- had to throw her one. Must have been a fun gathering, what with all the CNN-fired attendees, including the effervescently senile Don Lemon.

Hey, when you get good ratings, the network gives you a raise, not the bum's rush. But not in guilt-trip CNNLand.

"Note the separated-at-births: NFL frat boy commish Roger Goodell, ex-FBI frat boy Fay Wray, and Bank of America CEO frat boy CEO Moynihan (who got his ears pummeled by Trump while Moynihan was at Davos).

"Fascinating how they became identically moldy with the passage of time, eh?"

If it were in my power, I would ban the use of two words forevermore: democracy and bipartisan. Neither word means what it means; they are simply code words, used by those who want to fundamentally transform America (yeah, remember that guy?) into their version of a socialist paradise.

"ITEM 22: CNBC reported, “President Donald Trump on Friday said he plans to take executive action to overhaul—or possibly end—the Federal Emergency Management Agency, or FEMA, slamming the agency for its response to historic floods in North Carolina.”"

In 2012 when I was still working as a Village Administrator we had to open our Emergency Operations Center to manage a HUGE warehouse fire set by an arsonist. We were pretty much on our own for the first 10 hours, with 26 volunteer fire departments assisting and 20 pieces of heavy construction equipment I was able to round up from contractors we did business with between 2 am and 5 am. Our county EOC director was an absolute gem to work with. She didn't try to take over and run things, she just said how can I help.

Then the next day the state and federal people showed up and organization went to hell. Federal EPA got in the way, the state EOC director was a pain in the ass, and both thought they should be in charge.

Trump is right. Give state and local officials block grants to handle big disasters, then get the bloody hell out of the way!

This week's highlights have to rank among the best ever due to the whirlwind that is Donald J. Trump. I am in awe of what he has accomplished in his first week in office (actually first five days). I will comment on one issue which is the poll question. As a resident of East Tennessee, I chose helping the Hurricane Helene victims in NC and TN. If ever there was a contrast between FJB and PDJT, it was the response to the folks there in their time of need. Also, it was nice seeing him shutting that windbag Sherman down.

One last comment which is somewhat self-serving. In the four years he was in office, not once did I use the title "President" in front of FJB's name. He was illegitimately elected and I never regarded him as our President. He will now be relegated to the dung heap of history as the worst person to ever occupy the White House.

Just read that Mitch McConnell voted “no” on Hegseth bc he hasn’t proven he can manage a 3 trillion dollar budget and 3 million personnel.

Those requirements would leave us with a rather small pool to choose from. What, maybe 2-3 people in America?

How about we worry whether he can transform our military into a lean, mean fighting machine, and leave the less relevant matters to staff & congress?

C’mon Kentucky! Help us out here, would you?
