"Rarely does a president (just say Biden or Obama) confront so much peril." Wrong. Rarely does a president CREATE so much peril! I have never felt so threatened by wars, the economy, the border, sexual perversity, abuse of children. What or who will stop this evil? God help us.

Shrugged's avatar

When I read that quote my reaction was "Oh boo hoo. Poor little Barry and Joe". Decisions have consequences. Sometimes those consequences accumulate and result in what we are seeing: The public horrified by their pure evil.

Jim's avatar

The peril is self induced. He is weak, and stupid. Or more accurately weak and corrupt, which provides him the opportunity to act stupidly. None of this would be happening if Trump were in office; whether by luck or plan, or perhaps a bit of both, Trump's foreign policy worked. It would be that which I would most look forward to were he re-elected.

Jim Nelson's avatar

The weakness and incompetence we see in the Biden administration on all fronts reminds of a great Ronald Reagan quote. "Of the four wars in my lifetime, none came about because the U.S. was too strong."

revmaddog1948's avatar

The peril is self induced. I like it.

joanne,it remains to the true Patriots to take charge of the [education?] system,ie home schools or private with a fervent prayer we are not too late for a chance at saving America.A long arduous slog awaits our side.

PM's avatar

Hopefully, it starts at noon today, Marlan.

PM's avatar

Bummer! Time to expel 20 cretins form the Republican Party-or make MAGA the Tea Party II, and sendt he 'moderates' to the Dem Party.

Manufactured peril going into election season. A war president has a better chance of reelection.

LuAnn's avatar

Good Lord, I pray that it is not so.

After reading that sentence, my first thought was - thank God that Xiden wasn’t president on September 11, 2001.

And absolve the terrorists, blame Israel and a pre-presidential Trump.

Danimal28's avatar

Correct, he was denied profiteering from it...

LuAnn's avatar

I don't know how it's going to be stopped. I think it will be in a way that we aren't expecting. Pray to God that this evil will be stopped.

David Grieve's avatar

But TRUMP!! But TRUMP!! But TRUMP!!

Danny Huckabee's avatar

I think it was Rabin, former premiere of Israel, who famously said that the trouble with the Palestinians is that they can't take "Yes" for an answer. He meant that the Israelis are willing to live in a two-state solution but the Palestinians only want a one state one, with the Jews and Christians dead or driven out of the Levant. I don't see how one can square that circle without bloodshed.

Danny Huckabee

LuAnn's avatar

The Palestinians never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity. They don't want peace. Their greater desire, or driving desire, is the destruction of Israel.

Joseph Kaplan's avatar

Not quite. They want death to all Jews then all Christians then all Americans then all Europeans.

Shrugged's avatar

The left's convoluted beliefs and actions are finally coming home to roost. As many of the moderates - and even some on the left - are repulsed by this butchery, perhaps Trump will add significantly to his 75 millions supporters from 2020. Let's go for 100 million.

Sophie's avatar

If Trump gets 100 million voters, count on the dem’s magical voting machine to churn out 150 million “votes.”

Shrugged's avatar

I don't doubt they will try. But hopefully, if they do fake up to 150M votes, the public's reaction will be the same as that which Hamas is getting.

PM's avatar

I feel the tide changing a bit, Shrugged. Sad that it took something like this to wake the unwoke. They shall be called the 'Awakened'.

Shrugged's avatar

I hope you are right. However, we can't get too confident as the election is still a ways off and there will be many volatile events - perhaps orchestrated by the FBI - to do further damage to Trump. They are desperate and will do anything to destroy him.

PM's avatar

20 cretins just started one, Shrugged.

Danimal28's avatar

There is only one thing that matters next year: Envelopes containing ballots.

Rallies, debates, speeches... They do not matter. Envelopes do. Get to work :-D

LuAnn's avatar

Rallies by Trump are great, but it's the vote counting and how people vote that count.

Marlan Hoerer's avatar

COUNTING and who Counts!!!!

PM's avatar

Well said, Dan. We have to have our own 2000 mules this trip. Less bloviation and more action, guys and dolls.

MikeinFL's avatar

Not to be snarky, but I think you mean ballots. 81 million - yeah right...

Sophie's avatar

I was going for a parallel comparison between actual voters for Trump and “manufactured votes” or “ballots” for Joementia.

A manufactured ballot by any other name is still a stolen election.

PM's avatar

Totally agree, Sophie. Shakespeare couldn't have said it better.

Sophie's avatar

Sometimes I wonder if everything I say isn’t an allusion to something Shakespeare wrote first.

PM's avatar

He would be flattered. I steal from Cyrano all the time without shame or apology. ' What's that you say? Hopeless? Why, very well. But a man does not fight merely to win. Better to know one fights in vain. Ah, you too, vanity. I knew you would overthrow me in the end'.

PM's avatar

But they all counted, Mikey. Every single one of them.

TeaPartyGal's avatar

Well put, things are "finally coming home to roost" for the Left.

If Trump got 75-80 million votes in 2020, I would suspect that after 3 years of people getting red-pilled by Joe Biden's astoundingly bad reign that Trump is already at 100 million, or even 110 million, or ??? more ???

Shrugged's avatar

That would be great. . . as long as the election isn’t rigged - a BIG if.

LuAnn's avatar

I hope you are right. Liberal Jews need to stop supporting the Democrats.

Tony Niederberger's avatar

Mr. Surber, in quoting The Harvard Crimson, did you not see this headline??

"Harvard suffers major loss as ‘stunned and sickened’ Wexner Foundation pulls $2M+ support."

ONCE AGAIN, I ASK WHERE ARE THE JEWS IN ALL THIS?? Since before I was born, Harvard University has always been anti-Sematic and only now, 70 years later, a Jewish organization is crying foul and withholding support. You are speaking of the very existence of Israel and possibility of WWIII and these jackasses are just now crying foul??

JoanneB's avatar

Most Jews are not real Jews. See Dov Fischer at American Spectator for full explanation.

Playswithneedles's avatar

Great recommendation! Dov Fischer is always an amazing read. I’ve learned so much from him over the years.

JoanneB's avatar

Yes, even more so if you read Rabbi Jonathan Sacks, who passed away too soon.

Tony Niederberger's avatar

You should clarify that. I have been saying for many years that AMERICAN Jews are not real Jews and if all I was called was an anti-Semite, I'd be happy. I have found that American Jews LOOK for reasons to complain, not answers.

PM's avatar

Kinda like most Republicans are not conservative?

Not Just Gaza!!!…Want to see all this Bullshit (for the most part) in the rear-view?

Turn Gaza, Judea and Samaria (the so called West Bank) into Parking Lots. Create a 25 mile DMZ in South Lebanon and once and for all, turn Iran into a glass factory. Not only can Israel do all of the above, but they just got a whole bunch of shiny F-35’s to do it with.

With Iran gone, The Middle East will be quiet for at least a couple of generations. And Bonus…we don’t have to give Saudi Arabia the ‘Bomb’ to counter Iran’s. Can you imagine the Saudi’s with Nuclear Tech! You’ve noticed their capacity to do us harm when all they have is the spigot on a can of gas.

Agreed. Contact your country election officials and have them cross reference voter addresses with voter property tax addresses. If they don't match then pitch the non-matches = clean voter rolls. Without voter roll fraud demonrats cannot win.

I would be extremely wary of anything that comes from the BBC given their hand in overt censorship. Don't believe it?

"The Trusted News Initiative (TNI) was founded by the BBC in July 2019. While TNI claims to promote democracy and freedom, its purpose for being is global information control.

Partners in the initiative include global media outlets such as The Washington Post, Reuters, The Associated Press, AFP, the Financial Times and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), and Big Tech partners such as Google, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Microsoft"

"we" (as in Americans) don't end this war. it's not our war in the first place. the cowards who carried out the attack on October 7 will go into hiding in hopes of again someday striking behind their human shields as they've been doing since 1948. it will be a long and arduous task for the Israeli forces to hunt them down. perhaps America can contribute to the cause by sending the useful idiots that support Hamas to hang out with their heroes. they never shut up about their idiocy, so they'll make the hunt a bit less difficult.

Epstein Did Not Kill Himself's avatar

I believe Don might be giving the Associated Press too much credit for coming around with fair, honest reporting on matters with Israel. For the past several days my local newspaper has published a front page picture showing destruction and mayhem in Gaza due to Israeli retaliation. I recall little or no pictures covering the attack Israel suffered. This is a relentless attempt to garner sympathy for the terrorists. FYI, I do not subscribe to this rag but glance at the online version. I don't willingly support people who support terrorism and the AP does as much as the BBC.

EODMom's avatar

I think you are far too generous. One (or set of ) “stunned and amazed” headline(s) does not a trend make nor demonstrate a change in world view. The people and organizations have not changed their views, nor will they change their actions until forced to, repeatedly and unambiguously. That’s not until the so-called secular Jews become faithful Jews and are willing to defend themselves. Taylor of Swift does not care about 1 bodyguard. He is however safe in his soul. Others will just keep their mouths shut until they think it’s safe to reject civilization again. The teenagers at Harvard etc think it will all just blow over and the jobs they counted on will still be there. As they probably will be, since the institutions and firms share their beliefs and have deeper pockets to wait it out.

LuAnn's avatar

Necessary action: Just don't hire these vile kids.

Kv's avatar

Good morning, all.

So, if I understand things proper, at some point in the recent past the area of Gaza had Israeli settlements. The Israelis in these settlements were then told to leave, by their own government, and to leave the equipment like greenhouses and such behind, to be used by the 'new' residents, the 'Palestinians'. Some Israelis had to be removed by force, as I recall, claiming that their .gov was stealing their land. The new residents then proceeded to dismantle or simply destroy this equipment instead of using it to improve their situation, and then holler about how oppressed/victimized they were.

I have Native American ancestry as well as European, so it behooves me to speak to one of the previous comments regarding on the shameful way some of my ancestors were treated.

My mother's family comes from the Southeast - Missouri, mainly, and some tribal blood from there is part of my heritage; I'm pretty sure the bloodlines from there weren't mixed together in anger! Some of them managed to live through the Trail of Tears ordeal, and chose to farm land of their own rather than live on a reservation, and I never heard any of them complain about it, or about how they had to move to California during the Depression. They exercised choice. If they had chosen to continue to fight the settlers, I am fairly sure that this version of me wouldn't exist.

Now let's look at Gaza.

At some point, there were Israeli settlements there, built by the people living in them. As part of at least one of the many attempts to unite with or at least pacify the Palestinians there, the Israeli government removed the people - Israelis - living there, and turned over the settlements, including greenhouses and farmlands to the Palestinian folks. These grateful people then promptly dismantled/destroyed the majority of the equipment and farmland left behind for them to use to better themselves. Why?? Because it had been put together and used by Jews...

Seems to me, that if you are given chance after chance to better yourselves, and all you continue to do is call down jihad on people who have held out an olive branch far more than I would have done, your fate is being determined by you and you alone.

If the people who lived here in America had chosen to fight to the last against the new settlers, they would have been exterminated. Instead, they adapted, survived, and in some cases have thrived.

Need evidence? I offer you this: all over the U.S. there are tribal casinos...

Think of the opportunities the Palestinian people have not merely missed, but actively smashed, and spare me the equivocation between them and some of my ancestors. THEY knew when it was time to stop counting scalps.

Jim Nelson's avatar

This may sound overly snarky, but the Palestinians for the most part have become the Welfare Queens of the Middle East. They depend on Israel for food, water, and electricity and the billions of dollars in foreign aid from nations around the world, primarily the U.S. Given that they elect terrorists like Hamas to govern them, it is all too evident that they do not deserve their own nation. The same goes for the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank territory.

BBC is a terrorist cuckold.

AP knew Adwan was a Hamas simp, they pulled him because of the backlash.

Raiding and robbing, innocent Gaza "civilians" were recorded robbing and looting amongst the carnage.

Jews poisoning wells? They provide water and electricity to Gaza. Probably free or damned close. They initially cut off water and then turned it back on.

Better than me, I'd let dig wells to survive.

Jim Nelson's avatar

The moral equivalency argument in situations like these leads to a Europe poised for self destruction with an imported population of ingrates who hate everything about the country that saved, fed and educated them and who want and work actively to destroy them.

When you know that Hamas doesn’t care who they kill including their families or themselves then that only gives you one choice. Decimate them to the point of irrelevance. It is horrible to think this but the alternative is not only catastrophic for Israeli but too the world.
