I hold women in office to a very high standard, especially in the integrity department, and women who don’t do their jobs & think they’ll keep their jobs BECAUSE they’re women should be fired. I beg to differ about Cheatle being "held accountable," but only as a matter of interpretation. Whereas Our Esteemed and Irrepressible Host opines that she was fired due to her incompetent failure to prevent Trump from being exposed to an assassination attempt, I suggest she was fired specifically because of her failure to allow Trump to be assassinated. Allow me to explain. Whereas most republican politicians in the federal government were suitably outraged, as were all normal, traditional Americans, at the lack of security she oversaw, and therefore urged her resignation or termination on that basis, some of them were, like every one of the democrats who sought her resignation, upset that she had not succeeded in her assignment to provide a sufficiently porous protective detail so as to give the assassin a better chance at succeeding in his mission. Or do you still persist in believing that, "By any means necessary..." is just a meaningless slogan? Either way, her ouster is just more political theater to make the rubes out in flyover country feel good. The cabal that put her in that position still rules over us and it is not going to let go of that power and authority without a fight. Moreover, it must be remembered that we are engaged in a struggle, not merely against a group of people who want to maintain their positiion, and certainly not in any kind of "us vs. them/democrat vs. republican" contest, but against the spiritual forces that motivate them to act in the way they do. This is just another chapter in the Biblical narrative of good versus evil; light versus dark; hate versus love; death versus life. I keep thinking about the way the sniper took out the assassin so easily. As if it were planned. The sniper had his gun, tripod, measured distance focused already. Took out the assassin in under a minute. Assassin gone, no need to interview him.
One thing that surprised me was the long (~5-10 second) pause between the attack and the counter-sniper shot. I think Crooks (or whoever the patsy was) knew he had been spotted because of all the yelling while he was getting into position – escape was not really an option. So why only a few shots? He bought 50 rounds. It seems unlikely he even emptied a single magazine. Why not continue shooting at the pile of SS agents to improve the odds of mission success? It also doesn't seem like he was trying to escape when he was shot. Perhaps he was already dead. But then what about the shooter inside the building? There's no reason for him to stop either. He has a patsy and no reason to run. He has every reason to continue shooting to make it look like the patsy is still shooting. Surely he had a spotter who could tell him when the counter-sniper fired. Why stop shooting? It makes everything look scripted. I'm happy for their incompetence and glad God protected PDJT, but it seems an odd sort of thing to happen.

The argument 'only property owners should vote' stands on shaky ground because a young man with aspirations of a future and a patriot by virtue of youth that has not reached the stage of ownership should still have the right to the vote. Maybe the purity test should be, as JFK stated what you can do for your country. Service should be included. Maybe there should be a basket of certificates of different values that can be chosen from. Instead of spitting on our veterans a gold edged certificate of service plus charity work in the community and education proving at least familiarty of the tenets of the Republic earns the right to vote.
The vote itself should be one of the highest honors of American citizenship instead of so much confetti.

I hold women in office to a very high standard, especially in the integrity department, and women who don’t do their jobs & think they’ll keep their jobs BECAUSE they’re women should be fired. Back, even before the days of AA, and before later evolutions, eventually into DEI, there were what were called 'tokens,' hires that were made for superficial or symbolic reasons having little to do with merit, competency, ability, knowledge, et al. They were what might be called special cases--for reasons unique to the employer and to the hire. The employer was "taking a risk" on the hire--but that was the employer's prerogative, or choice. Yet everyone knew they were a special case, a token, and if they worked out as a good and useful employee through discipline and diligence, it was good for everyone involved. And if it didn't work put, well, terminations happen...
Yet, today, the superficial token reigns supreme, making a mockery of the idea of merit, competency, ability, knowledge, et al.

I beg to differ about Cheatle being "held accountable," but only as a matter of interpretation. Whereas Our Esteemed and Irrepressible Host opines that she was fired due to her incompetent failure to prevent Trump from being exposed to an assassination attempt, I suggest she was fired specifically because of her failure to allow Trump to be assassinated. Allow me to explain. Whereas most republican politicians in the federal government were suitably outraged, as were all normal, traditional Americans, at the lack of security she oversaw, and therefore urged her resignation or termination on that basis, some of them were, like every one of the democrats who sought her resignation, upset that she had not succeeded in her assignment to provide a sufficiently porous protective detail so as to give the assassin a better chance at succeeding in his mission. Or do you still persist in believing that, "By any means necessary..." is just a meaningless slogan? Either way, her ouster is just more political theater to make the rubes out in flyover country feel good. The cabal that put her in that position still rules over us and it is not going to let go of that power and authority without a fight. Moreover, it must be remembered that we are engaged in a struggle, not merely against a group of people who want to maintain their positiion, and certainly not in any kind of "us vs. them/democrat vs. republican" contest, but against the spiritual forces that motivate them to act in the way they do. This is just another chapter in the Biblical narrative of good versus evil; light versus dark; hate versus love; death versus life. The Dark One himself is behind all of what we see happening in our country and elsewhere in the world at large. It is only when we recognize this and recognize who is our ultimate enemy that we have a hope of successfully resisting. But success is never guaranteed and if it is true, as many believe--and not without good reason--that we are in The End Times, the rest of the scenario will not be one that anyone should wish to experience. I keep thinking about the way the sniper took out the assassin so easily. As if it were planned. The sniper had his gun, tripod, measured distance focused already. Took out the assassin in under a minute. Assassin gone, no need to interview him.
One thing that surprised me was the long (~5-10 second) pause between the attack and the counter-sniper shot. I think Crooks (or whoever the patsy was) knew he had been spotted because of all the yelling while he was getting into position – escape was not really an option. So why only a few shots? He bought 50 rounds. It seems unlikely he even emptied a single magazine. Why not continue shooting at the pile of SS agents to improve the odds of mission success? It also doesn't seem like he was trying to escape when he was shot. Perhaps he was already dead. But then what about the shooter inside the building? There's no reason for him to stop either. He has a patsy and no reason to run. He has every reason to continue shooting to make it look like the patsy is still shooting. Surely he had a spotter who could tell him when the counter-sniper fired. Why stop shooting? It makes everything look scripted. I'm happy for their incompetence and glad God protected PDJT, but it seems an odd sort of thing to happen.
Maybe he just did what he was told. And maybe the bullet through his head wasn't part of the plan either.

The argument 'only property owners should vote' stands on shaky ground because a young man with aspirations of a future and a patriot by virtue of youth that has not reached the stage of ownership should still have the right to the vote. Maybe the purity test should be, as JFK stated what you can do for your country. Service should be included. Maybe there should be a basket of certificates of different values that can be chosen from. Instead of spitting on our veterans a gold edged certificate of service plus charity work in the community and education proving at least familiarty of the tenets of the Republic earns the right to vote.
The vote itself should be one of the highest honors of American citizenship instead of so much confetti.

Normally, a Democrat will never be held accountable for virtually any misdeed, crime, or failure. Famously, Gov. Edwin Edwards of Louisiana once said after being asked if, despite all of his well-known corruption, he would ever be beaten in an election, "The only way I can lose this election is if I am caught in bed with a dead woman or a live boy". Kim Cheatle tried to play the Edwin Edwards card and found out that it is not a 100% guaranteed defense. Of course, sitting in the hot seat and deflecting questions with a "I could not care less look" on your face doesn't really help your cause. But the straw that broke Kim's back was that the Democrat members of the committee did not come to her defense. So like Slo Joe, she had to go (albeit with a figurative gun to her head, no doubt).
