“Brown’s Sugar.” Winner, winner, chicken dinner! I’ve become a smidgen less pessimistic about Trump’s chances for winning the election, after reading Zuckerberg’s shocking admission that the White House “suggested” a bit of censorship was in order. Big Tech has a pretty good grip on the mood of the country and I think they are sensing that “the times, they are a-changin.”

I’m still very concerned. The left is cornered. Barry and Big Mike will be exposed as frauds and traitors. They will do anything, ANYTHING now that they are cornered. They will use violence. It’s going to be ugly.

On a side note, I had a long conversation with a co worker yesterday: a very nice black woman. She cannot accept the facts. She is 100% sure if Trump wins, she will lose all her rights. She brought up A Handmaids Tale 22 times. Kept referring to Project 2025 and how it will require women to report their monthly cycle. Let that sink in. They truly believe this crap.

There is absolutely nothing we can do to change these people’s minds. No amount of facts. No referencing truth. Nothing will change their minds. And with this attitude, there is nothing but a fight ahead. And the media will blame Trump for oppression and dictatorship when he has to use force to put down the revolt. But then maybe we need to remove a few hundred thousand of these mentally ill people anyway.

Be prepared.

I heard today via John Solomon on Charlie Kirk's podcast that the pollsters changed the projected turnout by 10 points in Dem favor. Of course Comrade Kamala shows better with such a weighting.

They manipulate the polls to try to make a steal more plausible. OTOH, it seems there is in fact some progress on election integrity in various states.

The fight has already begun - and is intensifying. It is part of the reason the communist left is retreating but flailing away at everything they can. The gig is up. Too many people know it. It's the proverbial genie having been let out of the bottle. But they still have power, they have control of all the cultural centers, albeit it is that very weakening of that grip which has them terrified. They know what they would do if the fortunes were reversed, and expect the worse from us. We need to hold our side - including Trump - to making sure their every nightmare comes true.

This is more than the power of positive thinking. Consider all that he has done & been through & yet there is not much difference between Trump today & Trump coming down the escalator. There is not enough Botox in the world that can duplicate that persona/spirit.

In the early years of our marriage, the early 80’s, my husband and I lived in an apartment in Arlington, VA. The nearest metro stop was in Clarendon which was part of greater Arlington. Clarendon was a dump - shabby houses, boarded up businesses, weedy sidewalks. Then the Vietnamese moved in. At first it was just small shops and restaurants but they worked hard, cleaned the place up and now it’s a booming and very popular shopping and dining area with a mall which is several stories high and one high end restaurant after another.

It’s telling and thrilling that they are standing with Trump. As you stated, they know communism and can see it happening.

BTW, it’s LoudoUn County. I lived there for 24 years and my daughter and family still live there. Though they aren’t among the DC bureaucrat wealthy who took over the county in the late 90’s.

Expand full comment

Even more insidious is how Tony West, Commiela’s BIL married to sister Maya, as head of the Justice Department’s Civil Division used a secretive Judgment Fund account to funnel money to organizations of their choosing under - you guessed it - Obama. This fund is like a blank check since the cap for it was removed in 1977. West took a case that the government was poised to win, agreed to settle, and added claimants who had not brought suit increasing the settlement amount from 1 billion to 4 billion, basically buying votes and enriching political allies and activists. Then he went on to use this method of “honest graft” to shake down corporations. The Biden-Harris Administration has been using this strategy “to reward political allies on the taxpayers’ dime”, such as paying “$2 million to FBI Agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page for releasing their anti-Trump texts to Congressional investigators…”

This kind of stuff is such a racket and not seen by or easily explained to the people who are just trying to put a roof over their heads and feed their families. So it continues under the cover of bureaucracy. /sigh

PS, I had heard about that horrible $2 million payout to Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, but hadn't realized it was done through this program.

We need to scream to high heaven about this sick activity of Tony West.

Expand full comment

I definitely felt blindsided by this story though I vaguely remember hearing something about the case of the Hispanic farmers before it was all done. Like you, I knew Strzok and Page got money despite their misdeeds but I have never heard of this Judgment Fund. It’s so evil the way they steal from everyone to fund their organizations and friends. And it’s disgusting the way our elected officials in Congress keep giving up their Constitutional purpose to control the purse strings!

Expand full comment

In actuality this is how the whole of the government apparatus operates.

All those giant trillion dollar bills they pass are just filled with taxpayer money being funneled to agencies and foundations and NGO’s by the thousands and grants to all their pet groups and projects. They have redistributed all the taxpayers money to whoever is on their side and will do their bidding. It is one enormous system of nearly 100% pure graft and grift.

Until the money flow gets cut off nothing will ever change because both parties do it.

The House of Representatives has always had the power of the purse and could stop payment on every government employee’s checks with the swoop of a pen until they heeled to their wishes, but even a Republican majority has gone along with it.

It will all not end well for the country.

Tim Walz makes my blood boil. My deceased father-in-law volunteered for the Army in 1950 and was sent to Korea. An artillery shell landed nearby in a battle destroying the hearing in Cal's left ear, and killing three of his platoon. When he was sent home he had gone from PFC to master sergeant. He said that was primarily because so many in his unit had been killed. When the Army tried to give him a purple heart for his hearing loss, he refused it saying compared to the fatalities and horrendous injuries so many of his comrades had suffered that the hearing loss was nothing.

Cal stayed in the Army when he got home, then went to Army Reserve. When I met my wife in 1972 he was the full time first sergeant for a Reserve Engineering Battalion in Bryan, Ohio, which meant he was the boss in most things.

In 1974 Cal applied and was accepted to the first ever Command Sergeant Major school at Fort Bliss, TX. The next year he was promoted to CSM, and continued to run the Engineering Battalion for the weekend warrior Reserve major who was the boss on paper. CSM Lauren Calvin was one of kindest and best men I have ever know. When I first met him I had hair down to my shoulders and was scared shitless. He acted like the hair didn't exist and because his daughter was in love with me accepted me as a member of his family.

That man was natural leader. The caricature of a lifer sergeant screaming and cussing at his men couldn't be further from the truth. Oh, he could discipline, all right. He could make you feel about 2" high with his serious quiet voice, just by asking questions. My wife said she once told him "Please, Dad, just beat me!"

We were married in 1976 and Cal was still serving. My wife and I attended a couple of the annual military balls in Toledo. When I saw the number of full colonels and generals who knew and respected CSM Calvin, I learned who REALLY ran the Army. Although the Army had closed the Reserve Center in Bryan he commuted to the unit in Toledo, OH. In 1977 the little town of Stryker, OH where Cal's family lived was a financial mess. Several local leaders approached Cal and asked him to run for mayor. He had to say no because regulations would not allow him to run for political office. The local boys started a write in campaign which WAS legal, and Cal was elected in an overwhelming landslide. He served for 12 years. When he took over the town was under EPA findings and orders to build a sewage treatment system they could no way afford. Cal persuaded the citizens to go to monthly instead of quarterly billing and raise the rates to service the bonds they sold, which were paid off early. While mayor he persuaded several small industries to locate there, where before they had none.

During the Clinton years the Army was trying to chase off its higher paid noncoms and officers. One of the ploys they used was to require every serving man to pass the same physical fitness tests required of young soldiers to graduate boot camp. Cal was always in decent shape, but smoked for 40 years and had to work his butt off, but he passed. The next year he was 62 and the Engineering Battalion for their two week summer duty was detailed to build a road in Guatemala through dense jungle. Cal caught malaria and suffered flare ups the rest of his life.

My beloved father-in-law died in 1997. When they played taps and shot the 21 gun salute I cried like a baby. May God rest his brave and noble soul.

Tim Walz, you lying cowardly piece of shit, you couldn't carry CSM Lauren Calvin's boots. May you rot in hell for your stolen valor bullshit.

Sadly, I don't think that Captain Cao will win. As with most "blue" states one or two major cities tend to dominate the vote tally. Captain Cao will win the outlying counties, but the DC suburbs will break for Kaine. Just the same, I do hope that people have had enough and will vote for a change in the Senate. MAGA!

Expand full comment

Yes, Cao has an uphill battle in Virginia for sure. But even if he doesn't win, he is making a powerful statement and it FORCES all those Democratic voters in Virginia to be aware of him and his super-effective argument against Communism. Of course, many Democrats are very close-minded; BUT many are also still somewhat sane ordinary people, and encountering Cao's campaign materials CAN be part of the overall red-pilling process, which IS a win for us.

So Cao IS achieving a higher visibility for the anti-Communism message, AND, he is getting visibility for himself. There may be another office down the line that this will help him win, or Trump may scoop him up for a good position in his administration. Cao has started his political career, and he definitely will have a future in some position.

And who knows what catastrophes the Dems will bring on themselves between now and November. Maybe Cao will actually win the Virginia Senate seat.
