The Montana Free Press reported, “A seven-member commission voted Tuesday to immediately withdraw the Montana State Library from membership in the American Library Association, a national nonprofit founded in 1876 that advocates for and provides services to tens of thousands of libraries across the country.
The media and the left are talking about faux censorship, where the material isn’t banned, just age restricted. Meanwhile, we just went through a pandemic and an election where relevant information about very important topics was absolutely censored, with life and death consequences for many that were deprived of that critical information. Whether the criminal is named Moderna or Hunter, government sanctioned censorship of big tech, helped them get away with their international crimes.
Find a wall at the back end of a sparsely used parking lot and make good use of it!
These little victories give us all some degree of comfort but, and it may be true that this observation comes from the limited perspective of a 75 yo, they are coming too slowly and too infrequently to do our grandchildren any good.
The ONLY thing that is going to bail us out of this is the Re-Eletion of DJT, and that dear reader is far from a sure thing!
Ignoring people trying to pervert children is not an option. That doesn't mean intimidating or assaulting them. But it does mean taking away the microphone and providing consequences.
This glimmer of hope and good news is inspiring. When this Montana story hits the news cycle, I hope it burns slow and hot for weeks so the ALA is "Bud Lighted" out of many states.
Rush carried the torch and made AM radio relevant again and gave voice to other conservative talkers. Is it a coincidence that manufacturers planned on removing AM radios from vehicles in future years, until an outcry had them change plans?
We need to buy Don a dog. Probably a standard poodle.
The correct choice is get names of all involved and spread the word that Bob or Karen thought this was a good idea. Make them famous for supporting grooming.
It looks like the media who long ago lost all credibility are putting the final nail in their careers by mocking and denigrating the movie on Child Sex Trafficking.
Normal people ask how can LGBT justify Grooming kids, how can Library associations justify Gender Queer to children. And now media is saying hold my Bud Light by denigrating a movie about child sex Trafficking. Mika Brezhinski is just one of many pretending child sex Trafficking doesn't exist. I wonder why that is.
Being responsible and respectful for and of your children- don’t bring the children to the story hours you find inappropriate.
No Bible story either. Magical thinking is okay until it goes too far. Sexualizing children is offensive- people with boundary issues need to be avoided. Children should be treated to a peaceful environment where adults protect their childhood years, not preyed on by those with grooming predilection. God or no god is not the answer here. Responsible parents are the cure. Sexual curiosity is normal. However it is an adult decision when the child is ready, not if the Library thinks it’s appropriate or not. Take back parental control not silly behaviors. If your child needs help with understanding a different sexuality- there are parents and professionals to help guide them to an understanding and acceptance of their sexuality. Not just transgender. All people.
