I know Trump negotiatied it, but the stock market tells a story. "As their money goes, so go their hearts", as is the saying. The people who deal in money ignore the 'nay sayers' and the RINO's. What the US does affects the world, and oil is the basis for the modern world's money. When DJT talks, Wall Street listens - and they like the song they hear. Go Mr. President, and God bless the United States of America. Oh, and anybody who feels different, please feel free to get a ticket to any third world country of your choice and go make a difference there for good.
I met some hotel workers in Maryland this weekend. They were working on updates on the hotel. I asked where they were from. Ukraine. "Are you glad to be here?", I asked. A big smile, follwed by, "Yes, it is wonderful to be here." The people we met have a work ethic. Good to see.
06/16/26: That "third world" includes CA and MN. Let's take all of the communists and corral them AT GUNPOINT into those two states and then not interfere with their cannibal instincts.
Don't allow them into rural areas , make them stay with the " kooks " in the metro areas . Well , maybe not . Awful easy to make problems go away in rural areas .
Don, Drudge is not worth your time to mention. That site is dead and only great writers and Patriots like yourself keep it on life support. I was an avid reader of that site until it got terminal TDS. Let it get scooped up and fade away in the dust bin of history. Love your column!
There seems to be some question whether Drudge is even connected with the site anymore. I've seen reports that he sold the whole thing and is living off the radar , possibly on an island somewhere. Whatever, I left him some years ago. MY daily news go-to is Citizen Free Press now.
I agree. The mentions on active sites would given Drudge more publicity and possibly more page views. I feel the same about CFP. Most of Kane's posts are leftists sites to show us all the other side so we can see just how crazy these people are. The NYT gets many more hits because of CFP, but hopefully no additional subscribers.
I swear it is a stationary four-legged combat walker of the All-terrain vehicle without the legs used by the ground forces of the Galactic Empire, and the First Order. (Star Wars)
Obama lib-erary is actually an alien dumpster sent to take over the world. The pilot augered in on approach and it is now unable to complete its mission...
Probably none. They’re (millions of pages) stored in an old furniture warehouse somewhere in the Chicago area. But Mar-a-Lago wasn’t secure enough despite the FBI approving the locked area where Trump’s declassified documents were stored.
Too right PWN. I read there will be no paper materials at all in the “library”. All digital and likely to download one will be giving one’s contact information to Act Blue and other Dem bad actors.
Re. the Obama “library”. IIRC, Valerie Jarrett was in charge of this project, so no wonder it was incompetently managed. Having managed some complex renos (and my husband, building huge new industrial facilities with innovate product/tech), 100 change orders for just one sub (not a big one, based on amounts owed, btw) is a tell of massive incompetence. A well run project, with GOOD PLANNING IN ADVANCE (not a skill set we saw from BHO and his crowd, thankfully given their radical agenda), should have 2-3 maximum for a single subcontractor. If the plumbing sub had 100s, you can multiply that for the total project.
Again, leaving out the real reason. The elites HATE it. They understand the real enemy is Donald Trump. So what if Iran wipes out Israel? The elites use the Jews as targets whenever they wind up in trouble. Who care what happens in the Middle East? George the Pimp(le) on ABC will explain it away for those who watch news and the vultures on The View will explain it away to the real fools. And if they nuke America? Remember the Norm MacDonald line: "If they set off nukes that kill 50 million Americans, imagine all the anger against American Moslems."
I would have loved to see the Islamists permanently removed from Iran's govt, but the economic shackling and humiliation given by this deal will do. As Don points out, a majority of Iran's people were born since the Islamist coup and know nothing else, so they are less likely to support a total uprising.
I’m against anyone giving the IRGC any money. I don’t accept that it’s Iran’s “assets” in the various countries’ banks.
I don’t think any of the Arab countries owes them a dime and it’s hard to see them willing to give up any dimes knowing they will be used for arming the various Islamic thugs now running loose in the world. Nor should they get any tolls on Hormuz traffic. I accept that IRGC will remain in charge. I don’t accept others have to pay their salaries. So I hope it’s really the case that nothing will be accepted on trust. These are no-trust people we are dealing with.
I have no idea how many generations it would take to eliminate Islam - it hasn’t stopped so far - so we are stuck with the IRGC at least. I’m against supporting them.
At one point, Trump's Admin was paying the Arab nations with Irans own 'assets'. How much of that is true is debatable since that story disappeared quick. That happens to a lot of true stories though so I have hope.
There’s probably much more to the story as they say. I would like to have confidence that the resolution will survive this administration. And I would like to treat the IRGC as a subordinate party. I don’t want Iran telling the US or other free countries what to do. (collecting sea tolls? Isn’t that what the Barbary pirates were after?) It’s rather a distillation of the Islam in America issues: what principles will guide our laws and conduct in our own country.
They stopped the tolls from what I understand. The US was sneaking 77 ships out from under Iran's noses while they were huffing/puffing. I doubt Trump will let any tolls by Iran remain intact. It is against everything that international waters/trade routes cover. If Iran can continue to charge tolls, then before long everyone who could charge tolls, would be doing it. Tolls would eventually cause the total callaspe of international trade. The rest of the Nations shouldnt stand for it either.
Unfortunately, Islam and the principles of the US are totally at odds with each other. With Trumps' election we have been given the chance to reverse some of the insideous invasion that has gone on. I am hoping that we get to continue returning to the US founding principles.
When you're in the military every issue looks like a nail to whack. When you're a business man every issue to solve involves a good deal. Trump's genius is he combines both to maximum effect. Most pols skill stack is as thin as gas station toilet paper. The Trumpster's is a mile high and growing. AOC and Platner, not so much.
Your reference to "skill stack" reminded me that Scott Adams is no longer with us, and I wish he had lived long enough to see this. Given the profession of faith in Jesus Christ that he publicly made during his last few days on Earth, perhaps he is in a place where he knows. I hope so.
Then you are not in it all the way for a true win, Ben. Don’t start the “how many kids are we willing to sacrifice” thing with me. That can never be part of the equation if you decide a war is the necessary response to a country that chooses to fight rather than comply. Doing so limits options and we would never have prevailed in WWII with that mindset. I spent a career training to go to war with the USSR. The fight must always be to win if you make the decision to start it. This Iran conflict is NOT over. Curious but what makes you believe an agreement is going to change Iran after so many have failed?
I must agree, in that although this is a genuine agreement and an historic marker, it is not the end of conflict.
That never ends. What has been achieved is both substantial and significant. It has drawn a red line around Iran that they will be reluctant to cross for a generation.
Yes, I understand. But I wonder how many more Americans are going to die because of Iranian pursuit of terrorism in the future. Agreements are like restraining orders, they are only useful if both sides agree to them. I guess I have seen to much killing in my long life due to Irans fanatical Islamic goals. Those goals actually worked in Europe and now the Europeans see it but too late. If Americans die due to Irans action in the future it will likely be after Trump leaves office. Then what? I’m not convinced Americans ever learn from history in a meaningful way.
I was too young to remember much about the Rumble in the Jungle and the Thrilla in Manila, but the UFC at the White House was incredible. PDJT47 walking from the West Wing, past the row of frames of each former President, including AutoPen, w UFC Dana White grinning like crazy, they stood on the landing looking out & the AF Jets flew over…and the White House lit up Purple, was as one commentator said….so full of Testosterone! This really seems like TMW!!! Too Much Winning!!
I think that's a good way to look at it. If the proxy terror groups are silent/inactive that means Iran is no longer funding them. The issue would be then which country will step into the void to fund them? Hopefully none.
JD Vance’s interview with Hannity last night was excellent He did a great job of defending and describing Trumps deal I thought. Plus I look forward to reading his new book “Communion” which I think is due for release today
Going to say we are back to bombing Iran in less than six months, as Iran will just order more Junk Russian and Chinese radar and missile systems and then start building their weapons program all over.
They really believe they are a regional power and want to be a global power.
The only way to defang Iran is to break it up along sectarian lines.
Likely , although I think PDJT really got their attention with option of taking Kharg Island . Goes to prove that the best way to achieve cooperation is to grab them where it hurts the most .
Also the Europeans and others who have come over for the World Cup seem to be very impressed with what they see and more importantly what they can buy here that they can’t buy at home. Walmart amazes many of them and then there is that gas station Buc-ee’s that has many of them enthralled.
Let’s just hope they leave their money and leave when the party is over.
I think the only thing still left intact in Iran is photogenic Oblahma and that unattractive Rice continuing to advise their negotiators on unaliving Americans.
Their hopes and dreams for continual power are circling the drain. We are headed in the right direction finally. Next let's convert California and New York red. I think it's doable if we can terminate most of the cheating. It's a problem to solve. The Trumpster is a genius at solving problems.
You're exactly correct. CA and NY are only solid blue because they cheat and everything is rigged. Probably the same in MN and IL as well. Dems are importing their replacements for all of the Americans who no longer choose to be associated with them. They are a dying party, but cornered and wounded animals are the most dangerous.
I agree. It formerly seemed beyond our reach to recapture California and New York, but California, especially, is imploding, and we can make some strong steps towards a turnaround in those states.
O'Bummer is disgusting, deplorable and continues to be a disturbing pos. He has too many open questions: birth certificate, the chef, supporting ending American greatness.
DJT imo has made two mistakes. The bombing should have gone on for another week or two and he shouldn’t have listened to his “good friend” Erdogan by keeping the Kurds out of the fight. It doesn’t help that the American people or at least the disloyal opposition party is willing to let the mullahs have nuclear weapons because they cannot tolerate a short term rise in gasoline prices.
I calculate that I drive 10k miles per year. My car averages around 25 mpg. The war cost me a buck extra a gallon where I live. My calculator says that amounts to $33 per month. Most can afford $33 extra a month to end Iran's nuclear program.
Unless it is a Democrat president increasing the price of gas because it is for our own good to prevent climate change. When Republicans are in charge they are causing the climate to change because they hate the planet.
UGH, with regard to the Depression, it's been shown often enough that FDR didn't know WHAT he was doing. But he was very skilled at putting on a good show.

It seems the international soccer fans are realizing the USA is a damn nice/amazing place. Just ask Freddy the German.....

Who wouldn't love Buc-ees and Waffle House?
Does not matter their home country, they are amazed and love America.
Unless they have Democrat tendencies, then we are the worst nation on earth.
Yet they are still here sponging off of us.
You are spot on. Just like Vegas oddsmakers they watch out for their own interests objectively.

I was okay with this until 'cannibal'. Let's get them out of the country before that comes into fashion. Winters are cold in MN.

Terminal TDS appears all across Substack.
You know the type who only posts about Trump, and it's all negative.
Blue and green hair, face piercings, obese, and dumb as bricks.
Wonderful coverage of the entire situation! I can’t add anything except to say this…
Pillbox? That building looks like it belongs in Mordor.
I swear it is a stationary four-legged combat walker of the All-terrain vehicle without the legs used by the ground forces of the Galactic Empire, and the First Order. (Star Wars)
So we can take it out with strategically placed ropes?
And liberal application of the Force.
Figures ; like everything else they touch , it's broken .
Reminds me of a prison I saw in a futuristic movie, but can't think of the title.
Harry Potter's Azkaban comes to my mind.
Obama lib-erary is actually an alien dumpster sent to take over the world. The pilot augered in on approach and it is now unable to complete its mission...
Did you mean "Obama's lie-bery?"
Or somewhere among the stars as The Borg’s updated ship
It _does_ look very Borg-like!
Except for the lack of symmetry.
Just like the Borg developed a mental illness.
It’s the Woke Borg
I suspect Obama is a borg.
A shapeshifter?
In that case we need a pair of Roddy Piper glasses to reveal him.
A borg with a bong, as I recall from his "writings." You know, the ones from his never happened college days at Columbia, Harvard, etc. etc. etc.
I think the Borgs would have complained to the Borg Queen about what a crap pile it is...
Wonder how many Classified Documents are stored there … hmmm?

06/16/26: Change Order #101 should be "KNOCK IT DOWN."
06/16/26: The Vertical Coffin. And someday, what's left of Chicago will all be stuffed into it, tacked like cordwood. A mausoleum of murder victims.
Love me some Don Surber in the morning!
"the Jussie Smollett media. You know, fake noose"
HA HA HA!!!!
Yeah, glad I had coffee still brewing. I about chocked on that one.

They still owe us for taking our Embassy staff hostage in 1979. We still have not fully repaid that debt they owe us.
Makes two of us. The straight opens and they start making money again. If we give the regime money, we have learned nothing.

AOC and Planter are motor mouths. That is the sum total of their skills.
"There is no there, there" with either one.
I think you are being too generous there.

Let's see what the proxy terror teams do over the next 6 months. That will give us an indication if Iran is going straight.
Appreciate your optimism Mr. S. Time will tell.

That was about my calculation too. I would rather spend $33 and not get bombed by a nuke owned by death dealing crazies.
Using the same calculus, I am paying another $11 per month. Barely noticeable, and a small price to pay for a crippled and cowed Iran.
The progressives pay that much almost daily for their lattes.
Agreed.
Turkey is NOT an ally.
No they are not!
They are trying to maintain both spheres of influence playing one against the other.
Russia, China vs the west.
I have read that the Kurds could not have been effective fighting Iran because there weren’t enough of them.
That is not correct at all in Iran alone they number 7-15 million and 35-40 million in the Middle East.
Turkey is terrified of them.
Saddam tried to murder them all with WMD, and Iran is wary of them as well.
It takes just 1% with a decent fighting approach to make huge changes.
Was there a logistical issue of arming enough to fight?
Where do you get millions of small arms and enough bullets after funding and arming Ukraine?
Unless it is a Democrat president increasing the price of gas because it is for our own good to prevent climate change. When Republicans are in charge they are causing the climate to change because they hate the planet.
You get a lot right there. Just my opinion but there was too much emphasis on a deal and not enough on ending the regime forever.
That would take ground troops are you willing to kit up and go over?
As a country we are tired of sending our kids to the meat grinder and some of us still have some skin in the game with family and ourselves.
DJT is the most consequential President since FDR. Both were/are loved and hated. FDR was, and DJT is, the perfect man for his times.
UGH, with regard to the Depression, it's been shown often enough that FDR didn't know WHAT he was doing. But he was very skilled at putting on a good show.
I prefer the Teddy Roosevelt comparison.
Do some research on him.
Amazing person.
