There is something going on in the Dem party. The recent wins by avowed communists suggests that the Dem voters are not showing up on Election Day. The radicals are. In a primary, who and how many show up is a very telling fact. Mainstream Dems are not happy with the people running for office right now and it appears to me they are voting to stay home instead of going to polls. The recent wins in some very Dem states is a classic statistic for the state of the Dem party today. Colorado, very blue due primarily to the greenies living there, is not the same base as say, Michigan or New York. Let’s wait and see how the Nov elections go to see if the party is really going farther left. Your comment here is correct. Yes, good post. I agree it's still too early to see the impact of the socialist influence in candidates they choose to run. Trump has some time to make a difference but he is still doing this alone - without a party that is backing him in a substantive way. That really bothers me. He is a lone voice with overwhelming general support for his platform of ideas. A miracle would be nice too - and we may get one - so while I am always the contrarian (someone has to be), seemingly arguing the down side of things, I also believe in the greater good. Chuck, with respect, can we all stop bashing Barrett and Robert’s because they disagree with us on a couple decisions? We will NEVER agree on all decisions coming from a right leaning court majority. I’m disappointed in both Justices but the signs were all there before their appointments. Barrett was added to the nomination list once before but passed over for her tendency to swerve left on certain issues. Then she was revetted and nominated and ultimately confirmed on subsequent vacancy. Moderate, trying to please everyone GOP presidents nominate moderate leaning justices usually. They turn out to be disappointing too often but they are better than lefties on the bench by a thousand times. We are all deeply hurt and angry over Robert’s vote on the ACA during his early days on the court. But we have won more than we have lost by far so I hope that people will stop the bashing and start looking at the results and understand we are heading in the right direction. We won on Roe Wade. It’s gone and Mr Trump and the court can finish off Planned Parenthood’s support. I firmly believe Justice Thomas will retire before 2028 even if I will be very sad to see him leave. Issues are bigger than one perspective as all of these decisions are interconnected in application. Never forget that Roberts also gave us the Obamacare mandate by calling it's premium a tax. That was unforgivable, and lasted until the next administration (Trump) could reverse that unConstitutional ruling in 2017.
The bottom line is who wins the next election because that is who will rule America going forward. Weakness - While Article V has been written since the passing of the original Constitution in 1787, and was intended to be used for the situation we face today, it has never been done so there is a lot of (understandable) trepidation.

I think a major battle needing to be fought is neutering all of the courts in the judicial system. They have abrogated far more power for themselves than was granted to them in the Constitution. The men who wrote the Federalist Papers (who also were the primary authors of the Constitution) believed that although on its face all three branches were coequal, that the judicial branch would be the least important and almost existed as an afterthought. They would never have believed the role the worthless Supreme Court has taken on for itself or that the executive and legislative branch would allow them to.
Boasberg is part of everything and has been since 2016 with his fraudulent FISA warrant against Carter Page. He is a major player in the coup d'etat these jackals have been attempting. Screw neutering him, he should be hanged on the gallows.
There were “loopholes”, not good or right ones, if one wanted desperately enough to find or twist through them, for Roberts and ACB to come to their decision on Birthright citizenship. They were wrong to make such an effort, and though it will continue to wreak havoc, I believe that decision is not long for this world and will be reversed - some day.
The Election Day decision, however, was utterly inexcusable. While leaning over backwards to give deference to states authority to regulate their elections, they allowed the single, most obvious method of enabling massive voter fraud to continue apace.

But -- as a consolation prize -- aren't you overlooking the Supremes' specification that those ballots must be mailed by election day -- as proven by the Post Office's stamp? Much of the cheating problem has been enabled by the absence of such a requirement, so the cheaters could keep on "finding" more ballots -- and now it's there.
Yes although leaving that crucial aspect on the hands of the USPS gives me small comfort.
But if I am not mistaken what went unaddressed is ballot box mail ballots. They do not need to be postmarked, and if Missouri - or any other state -can just drag out elections for days to count, it appears to me that the chicanery surrounding those ballots as well as any harvested ballots can still wreak havoc.
Now that some of the armor that has protected the deep state has been removed, the trolls that live there are, suddenly, 'at will' employees just like most of the workforce in the private sector. I remember when I was a young adult and made my first contribution during a National Public Radio pledge drive. At the time, I felt proud that I was stepping up and supporting really good, "intellectual" news.
But Nina Totenberg's abysmal handling of the Clarence Thomas appointment opened my eyes. I listened to the live coverage on the radio, and even though I was instinctively quite skeptical about Anita Hill, I noticed Nina Totenberg appeared to be taking her seriously. Nina's voice was energetic and her commentary very enthusiastic and "alive".
But at some point I fell asleep, but the radio was still on and when I woke up it was very late in the evening, and IIRC they had just taken the vote, and Clarence Thomas was appointed to the Supreme Court. What shocked me, was Nina Totenberg, who was still covering the situation, but her voice was the complete opposite of what it had been earlier. Her voice sounded flat, depressed, exhausted, disappointed, and unhappy. I realized then very clearly that Nina Totenberg was biased, and had wanted Clarence Thomas to be defeated. And she wasn't even trying to hide it.
It shocked and upset me to realize that a major journalist on NPR was blatantly biased. It also made me angry, because Nina was something of a "first"--a woman reporter covering the Supreme Court. It seemed Nina betrayed all women when she did her job in a biased way. In all the decades since, I have carried anger and resentment against Nina every time her name pops up in the news and have never trusted a word she said. Nina Totenberg is not and never was a JOURNALIST. She owes her career to being a Leftist shill.

Mainstream Dems are not happy with the people running for office right now and it appears to me they are voting to stay home instead of going to polls. The recent wins in some very Dem states is a classic statistic for the state of the Dem party today. Colorado, very blue due primarily to the greenies living there, is not the same base as say, Michigan or New York. Let’s wait and see how the Nov elections go to see if the party is really going farther left. Your comment here is correct. The midterms will tell us just how much the Dems support their party and leadership and direction right now. Mr Trump has considerable time left to improve the economy as well as bring some sanity back to the courts so let’s all not count him out yet. Yes, good post. I agree it's still too early to see the impact of the socialist influence in candidates they choose to run. Trump has some time to make a difference but he is still doing this alone - without a party that is backing him in a substantive way. That really bothers me. He is a lone voice with overwhelming general support for his platform of ideas. A miracle would be nice too - and we may get one - so while I am always the contrarian (someone has to be), seemingly arguing the down side of things, I also believe in the greater good. I refuse to leave any blinders on my eyes; calling things as I see them. We're in trouble because of a failed and traitorous GOP, but it hasn't stopped Trump yet.

Chuck, with respect, can we all stop bashing Barrett and Robert’s because they disagree with us on a couple decisions? We will NEVER agree on all decisions coming from a right leaning court majority. I’m disappointed in both Justices but the signs were all there before their appointments. Barrett was added to the nomination list once before but passed over for her tendency to swerve left on certain issues. Then she was revetted and nominated and ultimately confirmed on subsequent vacancy. Moderate, trying to please everyone GOP presidents nominate moderate leaning justices usually. They turn out to be disappointing too often but they are better than lefties on the bench by a thousand times. We are all deeply hurt and angry over Robert’s vote on the ACA during his early days on the court. But we have won more than we have lost by far so I hope that people will stop the bashing and start looking at the results and understand we are heading in the right direction. We won on Roe Wade. It’s gone and Mr Trump and the court can finish off Planned Parenthood’s support. I firmly believe Justice Thomas will retire before 2028 even if I will be very sad to see him leave. Mr Trump will likely get to pick his successor. The wind is in our sails, not the lefts.

Issues are bigger than one perspective as all of these decisions are interconnected in application. Never forget that Roberts also gave us the Obamacare mandate by calling it's premium a tax. That was unforgivable, and lasted until the next administration (Trump) could reverse that unConstitutional ruling in 2017.
The bottom line is who wins the next election because that is who will rule America going forward. With birthright citizenship, millions of voters who are really illegal aliens or non-resident Americans will help win those elections. The NEOCONS and RINOs will help them too. It takes 34 states to call for a Constitutional Convention. This occurs completely outside of Congress - which is its strength and weakness.
Strength - we eliminate the roadblock to progress and solid legislation by going around Congress. They can't do anything about it and must follow it when passed.
Weakness - While Article V has been written since the passing of the original Constitution in 1787, and was intended to be used for the situation we face today, it has never been done so there is a lot of (understandable) trepidation.
We celebrate all the risks to life and liberty of our predessors. It is time for US (YOU and ME) to step up and take that role and define history going forward.

In more serious thoughts, I cannot square that John Roberts is a threat to anything regarding the Deep State. Not after Obamacare, not after yesterday's 14th Amendment decision. I think a major battle needing to be fought is neutering all of the courts in the judicial system. They have abrogated far more power for themselves than was granted to them in the Constitution. The men who wrote the Federalist Papers (who also were the primary authors of the Constitution) believed that although on its face all three branches were coequal, that the judicial branch would be the least important and almost existed as an afterthought. They would never have believed the role the worthless Supreme Court has taken on for itself or that the executive and legislative branch would allow them to.

There were “loopholes”, not good or right ones, if one wanted desperately enough to find or twist through them, for Roberts and ACB to come to their decision on Birthright citizenship. They were wrong to make such an effort, and though it will continue to wreak havoc, I believe that decision is not long for this world and will be reversed - some day.
The Election Day decision, however, was utterly inexcusable. While leaning over backwards to give deference to states authority to regulate their elections, they allowed the single, most obvious method of enabling massive voter fraud to continue apace.
Clearly, that consideration never entered their minds, state’s rights or not. Of all the decisions, good and bad, to me, that was hands down the worst, containing the gravest danger to this Republic. Even Congress -if they ever decided to do anything important - has little wiggle room over that disastrous decision. They had a chance to enable a major step forward in securing our elections, (seeing as Congress literally refuses to do it themselves), by pronouncing Election Day ELECTION DAY. They blew it.

Suzie, I doubt very much that mail-in balloting can ever be outlawed. But -- as a consolation prize -- aren't you overlooking the Supremes' specification that those ballots must be mailed by election day -- as proven by the Post Office's stamp? Much of the cheating problem has been enabled by the absence of such a requirement, so the cheaters could keep on "finding" more ballots -- and now it's there.
Yes although leaving that crucial aspect on the hands of the USPS gives me small comfort.
But if I am not mistaken what went unaddressed is ballot box mail ballots. They do not need to be postmarked, and if Missouri - or any other state -can just drag out elections for days to count, it appears to me that the chicanery surrounding those ballots as well as any harvested ballots can still wreak havoc.
Now that some of the armor that has protected the deep state has been removed, the trolls that live there are, suddenly, 'at will' employees just like most of the workforce in the private sector. I really don't know how this will affect the low level civil servant types who populate most of the bureaucracy, but even if it only affects the high level bureaucrats, it will have major implications within our governmental morass. Knowing that you can be fired for any reason is a powerful incentive for an individual to deliver the best performance in their job. As I told the folks who worked for me, "At the end of the day, we are all just temps, so keep that in mind as you do your job."

I remember when I was a young adult and made my first contribution during a National Public Radio pledge drive. At the time, I felt proud that I was stepping up and supporting really good, "intellectual" news.
But Nina Totenberg's abysmal handling of the Clarence Thomas appointment opened my eyes. I listened to the live coverage on the radio, and even though I was instinctively quite skeptical about Anita Hill, I noticed Nina Totenberg appeared to be taking her seriously. Nina's voice was energetic and her commentary very enthusiastic and "alive".
But at some point I fell asleep, but the radio was still on and when I woke up it was very late in the evening, and IIRC they had just taken the vote, and Clarence Thomas was appointed to the Supreme Court. What shocked me, was Nina Totenberg, who was still covering the situation, but her voice was the complete opposite of what it had been earlier. Her voice sounded flat, depressed, exhausted, disappointed, and unhappy. I realized then very clearly that Nina Totenberg was biased, and had wanted Clarence Thomas to be defeated. And she wasn't even trying to hide it.
It shocked and upset me to realize that a major journalist on NPR was blatantly biased. It also made me angry, because Nina was something of a "first"--a woman reporter covering the Supreme Court. It seemed Nina betrayed all women when she did her job in a biased way. In all the decades since, I have carried anger and resentment against Nina every time her name pops up in the news and have never trusted a word she said. Nina Totenberg is not and never was a JOURNALIST. She owes her career to being a Leftist shill.
And it was the beginning of the end of my support for NPR.
