Having read all of Don’s columns about bird brains and their bird brain ides, today's column makes me steer the conversation to bird droppings. Some 50 years ago, on an inclimenent day, I was returning to the bank where I worked in downtown Cleveland, wearing a dark blue London Fog raincoat. Suddenly, a load of bird droppings hit my left shoulder. My first instinct was to grab a handkerchief and wipe the semi-liquid white mess. But that didn’t work; it merely smeared the goo over a wider area.

I mention this because in retrospect it seems that we, as a country of citizens, are being targeted by our government in a similar way. They shit on us every day. And you never know how they will do it. There are bird roppings on glass windows, for example. How does a bird get its ass in position to target a vertical objecct? I don't know, but like Trump, the bird did its job. Today's column is a corker. I now see Trump as our nation's bird, our biggest bald eagle, smearing the Dems like they have never been smeared. And every one of his droppings will make us a better nation. Soar, Donald, soar.

Bird poop hits windows because birds poop while flying and it splatters rather well.

03/15/24: I wouldn't be surprised if we eventually discover that the CIA rugrats assigned to this mission went to the Chinese and say, "Look, we know that Biden's on your payroll. Where's OUR cut?"

Wouldn’t THAT be interesting to know!

Not being overly hampered by law or morality, the Chinese would respond to such an extortion effort with a bullet to the brain. Otherwise, it's a good question.

Our government is currently not overly hampered by law or morality either, not by a long shot.

Suzie: At the risk of splitting hairs, I would readily agree that the White House and this administration are not overly hampered by law or morality. But as someone who was in the government for nearly 30 years, I'd disagree that all of us fit that description. However as Benjamin Franklin would have said if he lived in this day and age, fish and administrations rot from the head.

On the other hand, Reuters has no problem with the CIA spying on Americans. From Breitbart: “The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) deployed personnel to the United States Capitol on January 6, 2021, text messages recently obtained by Judicial Watch via Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) show.”

I'm surprised Trump got anything good out of the CIA in 2019 with the legacy of John Brennan still there as an avowed communist/muslim.

I would not doubt they betrayed him in the effort, like Milley did when he called China to tell them he’d give them a “heads up” if Trump tried to attack them. Traitors all.

Regarding Milley, read on CFP how he is now living the multi-millionaire lifestyle in his post military retirement with lots of high paid board memberships and speaking gigs. Seems to be how all the retired generals live the good life (as opposed to we peasants

The saddest part of this is that Milley and ALL of the others were smart enough to KNOW that what they were doing was WRONG AND LETHAL TO OTHERS, so they did not follow their own rules- they willingly forced those killing rules on the rest of us.

Hey, I'm a retired General living in anonymity in North Texas. Ease up on us old guys. There are strict rules who you can work for and who you can't work for but those ease after time. The biggest thing that boards are looking for are your contacts and where you still have influence. That is a perishable attribute over time however. I've been retired for 12 years and my phone doesn't ring. I am very good with that.....

Yes; he visits with them every year when the circus freak show comes to town. Difficult to find the words to describe this disgusting government we're stuck with. A click on the CIA website (cia.gov.) will allow a perusal of its publicly disclosed history. What is noteworthy is the fact that it quite unabashedly proclaims its role to, "accomplish what others cannot accomplish and go where others cannot go." It does not indicate that it is constrained by any law, rule or regulation, yet it is statutorily prohibited from working on American soil or against American citizens, which is within the purview of the FBI. Or so we are to naively believe. What must be remembered is that these organizations are no better or worse than the personnel comprising them. The truth is that both the CIA and the FBI are now, and for a long time have been run by people who believed they were a law unto themselves; people who believe they always "know best," and certainly do not feel the least constrained by anything or anyone who does not share their opinions.

I suspect Reuters allegiance to China has had an adverse impact in Canada. Others on this site live there so they will have a better idea, but Canada seems to have degraded into the communist trap much more than the USA under Trudeau. Biden is just as bad, just hasn't caught up to Justin.

We need to have a real discussion about the CIA. If it can be corrupted and convinced to target presidential candidates and private citizens, is it too powerful as presently configured? Every country has some sort of CIA entity, but do the pluses outweigh the minuses today? The CIA has probably screwed up more missions than we know about, and the Iraq War was one of the latest. We need to have this discussion very soon. The CIA has far too much power and should not be allowed to have a "dark" budget and operate without oversight by the public. Think about it this way: the CIA's primary role has been to disrupt and subvert other countries to further our interests. How hard is it for them to do the same to our own country then?

Trump did what he needed to do. But of course he will be shredded to bits for doing so. Our world as we knew it is inverted. Orwell couldn't have imagined that we would actually be living in the Big Brother era where what we know to be right and true, no longer is accrding to our elites. As I've said before on this blog, some days the news makes my head hurt. But we must persist. Pray, my friends. Ultimately, God's will gets done.
