I made the huge mistake of attending a concert Tuesday night at Tanglewood in the Massachusetts Berkshires. It was featured as the Jerry Garcia Symphony Orchestra in concert with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. I should have done better due diligence before attending but didn't. I didn't consider that the Deadheads would also see this as a necessary venue to attend. The crowd was largely senior-aged males who all looked completely wasted and like they had just woke up from the park bench. They all stood up, walked around, talked loudly, and had not the slightest consideration for anyone around them. The two guitar players sounded like high school kids playing in their garage. The BSO was completely drowned out. It was like a cult with the people all doing very strange dances. My wife and I left before intermission. I never saw such a rude display of uncouth behavior in what should have been a refined setting. Big mistake in going.
And the competitors. It's easy for me to say, since I'm not a competitor enjoying the program, but if the girls simply refuse to compete with men, and maybe organize their own. albeit informal, league just for girls' competition, the men will be left there with no one to compete with except maybe another man or two. They will go away.

I'm not into today's music - especially female pop singers as they all sound the same. I didn't know much about Swift or her music - but I realized what a POS she is when she said she's happy we have a country where young boys can grow up to be princesses.

I made the huge mistake of attending a concert Tuesday night at Tanglewood in the Massachusetts Berkshires. It was featured as the Jerry Garcia Symphony Orchestra in concert with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. I should have done better due diligence before attending but didn't. I didn't consider that the Deadheads would also see this as a necessary venue to attend. The crowd was largely senior-aged males who all looked completely wasted and like they had just woke up from the park bench. They all stood up, walked around, talked loudly, and had not the slightest consideration for anyone around them. The two guitar players sounded like high school kids playing in their garage. The BSO was completely drowned out. It was like a cult with the people all doing very strange dances. My wife and I left before intermission. I never saw such a rude display of uncouth behavior in what should have been a refined setting. Big mistake in going.

And the competitors. It's easy for me to say, since I'm not a competitor enjoying the program, but if the girls simply refuse to compete with men, and maybe organize their own. albeit informal, league just for girls' competition, the men will be left there with no one to compete with except maybe another man or two. They will go away.

If a group can control a seemingly normal event such as female sports then that control gives them a win and with it political power. You can’t separate the two. Wim, you’ve made me more keenly aware of the challenges (legal) immigrants face in becoming adept in English. There’s an old French saying “Viva la difference”. (Pronounced Dee-fair-ance). It refers to just a healthy celebration of the difference between men and women.
Don deliberately butchered it by spelling “difference” as “de-France”. Then he also made a pun by identifying the difference as being how men versus women go to the bathroom, or do “wee-wee”(pee-pee), spelled here using the French word for “Yes” , which is spelled “oui” but pronounced “wee”. Don used “zee” instead of “the” to imitate a French accent. So you get “the difference” in the way men versus women “go wee-wee”.

BTW, it's not "Viva la difference". Viva would be Spanish or Italian. The correct French spelling is "Vive la différence". In high school I had 6 years of French, 5 of English, 4 of German (in descending order of difficulty for Dutch people), plus 2 years of Spanish in college. Oh, and 4 years of Latin and Greek besides. Because of disuse I've forgotten most of the latter two, but I recently revived a bit of my Greek in writing an essay about the real meaning of Romans 13:1-7.
