Israel just reported that it just erased Larigani, the man who is supposed to be the new Iranian mastermind and also got rid of the head of the Basij killers. Quite a quagmire after a whole 2 weeks of war. Looks like the NYT is vying for a second Walter Duranty award for fake news reporting on behalf of America’s enemies.

Playswithneedles's avatar

Curious, isn’t it, that war under each of the Bushes were quagmires and this is a quagmire but 8 months of bombing Libya by the black messiah and his cackling Secstate were not.

Barry is half black, Gaddafi is a light skinned black. Barry spent years in Chicongo and is familiar with the conduct of the politics there. That was just a typical Chicongo reaction to a rival.

Apparently he told HiLlARy that Gaddafi had dirt on the Clinton's and was going to talk to DOJ.

US ambassador Christopher Stevens was still unavailable for comment, after the cultural outreach mission he was leading in Benghazi.

My Free Grok (MFG) tells me in 2012…

“No, U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens was not working on recovering CIA-supplied MANPADS from Muslim terrorists….

-Instead, he was involved in broader U.S. efforts to secure and recover weapons — including MANPADS (man-portable air-defense systems) — looted from Muammar Gaddafi’s stockpiles after the 2011 Libyan revolution. These weapons had spread into the hands of various militias, some of which had extremist ties.”

That clarifies my misleading question….

MFG also informs me…

“The U.S., under Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, committed $40 million to help Libya secure and destroy these weapons, including SA-7 [Russian] and Stinger [US] missiles.

-Stevens, as the U.S. liaison to the Libyan opposition, played a key diplomatic role in these nonproliferation efforts.”

I am not sure if Cackles was asked under oath in her deposition if she gave the order to scramble jets from Suda Bay, Crete, to defend the Benghazi consulate under attack on 9/11/2012….

MFG told me

“No, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton did not request U.S. jets from Souda Bay, Crete, to defend the Benghazi consulate on September 11, 2012, and no F-16s or other combat aircraft were scrambled during the attack.

Key findings from official investigations and testimony:

-No military assets were deployed during the attacks, despite Souda Bay being approximately 90 minutes away by air.

-A Special Operations team in Tripoli was denied permission to deploy to Benghazi during the attack, and other U.S. forces were not mobilized until after the assaults ended

-Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Gen. Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, testified that armed military assets could not have arrived in time to make a difference due to distance, lack of tanker support, and the speed of the attacks. “

MFG added:

1-First attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound began at 9:40 p.m. and lasted about 90 minutes, ending around 11:15 p.m. when surviving personnel evacuated to the CIA annex.

2-Second attack on the CIA annex started at 4:00 a.m. on September 12 and lasted 11 minutes, primarily involving mortar fire that killed CIA contractors Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods.”

Too bad Bobert didn’t ask, or leak SOS Clinton’s answers under oath…

Did ANYONE at the base of Mount Hillary-Vesuvius that night get her on video?

(Nag, nag, nag: “Her behavior was deplorable. Hillary was the entitled wife of someone famous who demanded to know…” Re-write. Otherwise, it wasn’t Hillary who “demanded to know…” --- it would be Bill, an utter impossibility, since he had been frozen out of Hillary’s witches' cabal early on in the 2016 campaign, and who definitely got the last laugh about his advice not being taken.)

03/18/26: Highly recommended:

https://www.abebooks.com/servlet/SearchResults?ds=20&kn=airwar%20jablonski&ref_=ds_ac_d_16&sts=t

Either BUY the 4-volume series Seller: "Redux Books, Grand Rapids, MI, U.S.A. $14.45." Or...

BETTER STILL: the consolidated one volume published in 1979: "Seller: a2zbooks, Burgin, KY, U.S.A." (@ $17), which I have been going through for the past ten or so days.

Readable? Quite so. Jablonski wasn't much for original thought, but he made it his business to be well-informed and was an adept synthesizer of information. Plus, his editors must have been chop, chop, chopping away to get all of the information into one volume.

Even better, his tone of voice / attitude is friendly and unpretentious (writers are notorious for being bad friends; friendly writers at arm’s length are rare and valuable).

If only the editors had clipped 80% of his incessant "The fact thats" and "in facts" --- phrases that should be used VERY rarely --- and ONLY if the issue being debated is whether or not what was alleged to have happened actually DID occur.

Type size is very good. Ink density is very good. Paper quality is good and sturdy, but unfortunately, the binding is glue, and after 40+ years that stuff evaporates and books put together with it disintegrate.

I solved the problem by eliminating the binding with a single-edged razor blade, hole-punching and then encasing the pages in 1" / 3" ring binders (the book's paper size was perfect for the standard size binders).

A long and somewhat tedious task but if the book is worth saving, no problem, well worth the time and effort.

Call it what it is—the Trump Dividend. Peace through strength, prosperity through strength, and finally a president who understands both. I’ve watched the weak-kneed globalists fold for decades. Not anymore. Trump doesn’t bluff—he acts, and the world recalibrates fast. Dictators mock him one day and disappear the next. Markets move. Oil flows. Enemies hesitate. Allies fall in line or get left behind. That’s leverage. That’s leadership. The media can’t spin it because results don’t lie. This isn’t chaos—it’s controlled dominance. And whether they admit it or not, Trump is reshaping the world order in America’s favor.

Shrugged's avatar

Perfect summary.

You say, "Allies fall in line or get left behind." At this point, Europe's two-timing and condescending empty promises suggest we push them to the back of the line instead of waiting for them to realize they are losers in this global game of Political Monopoly.

It's time to cut them off.

steph_gray's avatar

Already kinda started by the move against Lloyd's of London... As usual PDJT is ahead of the game.

Lloyd's needs to lose 98% of their business and fade back to the niche specialties they used to be known for, such as insuring some famous pianist's hands

Oh, how I love the feel of old ivory keys. Each key is unique. (The piano with ivory keys was constructed decades BEFORE America’s ban on ivory.)

I remember that tone well from the old upright my mom played, that my dad used to fix parts of on the kitchen table.

Mom wrote a couple hundred American songbook style tunes by ear, never even knowing what chords she played. I’m an ear player too but I did pick up enough chord and music theory from that experience, and went on to guitar, mandolin, and accordion, mainly so I can sing whatever I want using whatever instrument fits.

Endless fun.

Trump & Bessent had this gamed out I bet a year ago…

Bessent, when he worked w Soros, was (details from My Free Grok):

“Scott Bessent played a pivotal role in the 1992 trade that led to the collapse of the British pound and forced the Bank of England to devalue the currency, but he did not originate the overall strategy.

Bessent's key contribution was identifying a critical vulnerability in the UK economy: the widespread use of variable-rate mortgages among British homeowners. He analyzed how rising interest rates—necessary to defend the pound—would severely burden households, making it politically and economically unsustainable for the Bank of England to maintain the pound's value.”

Dam glad PDJT47 lined up Bessent after the hiatus of 2020 steal, when Trump had lots of 'free time' whilst fighting lawsuits, investigations, snipers (UNLIKE like those Hillary & Chelsea) to line up Bessent to put the financial world in order, and beat the crap out of the City of London again...

I think most people don’t realize that the EU nations are too far gone to help us in any substantive way. It’s been this way for some time now. The UK has little offensive military power today. It can’t even defend itself unless it uses nukes. They, like the rest of the EU expect we will defend them if the balloon goes up, that is, with NATO. But it seems to me NATO is hollow today and on life support. So just let it die. It appears that much of latin and South America wants to align themselves with our country and this could well make Europe irrelevant down the road. The one thing that is going on right now is the Iranian conflict is being studied like a new virus by not only the US military but Europe and most other countries. We and they will learn a great deal about asymmetric warfare from this and subsequent wars will be fought accordingly. A big beneficiary will be Israel as well. The whole power structure of the world’s nations is being changed as we speak and Europe is being left behind by their socio-economic decisions.

CactusMatt32's avatar

Trump is setting the Table to leave NATO, just like his actions w the UN….

These sclerotic grifting organisations are too stupid to change behaviour at least for appearances…

Reddog's avatar

I believe you’re right. France has too big a voice in how NATO acts towards us today. They are about to find out what karma looks like.

darrell's avatar

When you think about was the UN ever really united?

Shrugged's avatar

And, they seem to be too clueless or too stupid to realize it.

Since we can all see what you state, why are we kicking the can down the road on the UN and NATO? Resign our position (and funding) NOW.

Let them eat their condescending opinions as they realize they are weak and defenseless, soon to lose everything about their 'Royal' history.

Reddog's avatar

Don’t disagree but then that leaves a power vacuum that China and Russia can exploit. Either Europe throws off this stupid EU fiasco and returns to its individual identity or they die together. As the Latin and South American countries gain strength and we align with them as we are, European countries will have to make a choice. Hope they choose well.

LuAnn's avatar

Eurabia is lost. Better to align with Latin and South American countries at this point.

Idiots who write for corporate media like the NYT as well as the talking heads on the visual media all sing off the same page of the leftist hymnal. "Trump is crazy," they say. "Trump is too unpredictable," they say (as if that is a bad thing). "Trump is a war monger," they say. "Iran is winning this unjustified war," they say (especially the utter fraud who goes by the name of Tucker Carlson). And they mostly believe the crap they put out because they exist in an alternate universe where communism is preferable to capitalism, you can choose what sex you are and even alternate between choices depending on your feelings, where America is the source of all the world's problems, where "islam is a peaceful religion" and the biggest threat to society is "islamophobia," followed by "Christian nationalism/nazism/the KKK/white supremacy" and every other chimera they can conjure up in their utterly retarded, degenerate minds. Meanwhile Trump and his crew go about their daily business of bringing America back from the brink and reestablishing America's preeminence among nations, strengthening America's military as well as its economy and fortifying its borders against the invasion of foreigners who were encouraged and allowed to cross our borders by the democrats in an effort to destroy this country they so virulently hate. Trump made his bones and his bank by dealing with and outsmarting the government bureaucrats, the mob, the unions and his competitors (often the same people) in the cutthroat world of real estate development in New York City, so dealing with the mental midgets who pretend to run the governments in other countries is a cakewalk. He deserves our support, trust and loyalty and I for one intend to continue to give that to him unless and until the facts lead me to conclude otherwise. From where I sit, the chances of that are slim to none and none just left town.

Sheila Barkofske's avatar

Your comment is spot on but here we are talking yet again about our journalism system, or the lack thereof. The only thing that will save the American press is a return to ethics and moral behavior. Clicks and clickbait cannot be the metric on which to run a news organization. Politics destroyed American journalism or perhaps vice-versa just like it is destroying most of our federal and state governments. When politics become nothing but power for the sake of power rather than the means of efficiently …….and peacefully running a government, it sealed its own fate. Remains to be seen if it is fixable at this late date.

Ms. Bert's avatar

Thank you Steve.

darrell's avatar

Steve I hear you and agree. I too stand with Trump and all the actions he has taken. The na sayers have not looked at the big picture. Like where will they spend their millions (now it's billions) if there doesn't exist law and order in the global community. The Epoch Times which supports Trump is owned by a Chinese Billionaire (lives in Canada) who understands what will happen to all commerce if the US goes down. The reason I'm replying to you is your negativity of Tucker. Tucker is taking two giant steps back and looking at Trumps relationship to Israel in the Middle East. Those folks are not theist. Tel Aviv is the homosexual capital of the world. Abortion is paid for by the Israeli government up to the point of birth. If this does not bother you then I am sorry for invading your space. Please cut Tucker some space as he is approaching this from another angle. Our own government is threatening to silence his reporting. What's that thing called now the First Amendment. Just saying.

Steve (recovering lawyer)'s avatar

I've spent time in israel. I'm well aware of what goes on there and I heartily condemn it. Nonetheless, Israel is the only country in that part of the world that has remotely similar political and social positions aligned with traditional Christian America. I mention this because America as a whole is similar to Israel in its current state of moral decay, yet I'm sure you, like I remain a patriot. Tucker, I fear is not; he is, in my opinion a grifter of the first water, whose seeming preference for islamic tyrannies like Qatar is not consistent with anything remotely aligned with traditional American values. I don't claim he is completely wrong in all his opinioins and in fact I share some of them. But his recent positions have soured me on him entirely. I can only say that on this topic, you and i must amicably agree to disagree. I wish you all the best and hope that we can eventually return America to her position as a shining beacon on a hill.

darrell's avatar

I don't consider countries like Israel and The US which abort millions of babies as shining beacons on a hill. Just the opposite I feel that because we have allowed it to go on is why we no longer shine but are being put under judgement of a Holy God. However yes we will agree to disagree and use each country to stop the mullah's.

Any single accomplishment of his administration would be a worthy legacy. However, the notion of stopping and consolidating gains never seems to even cross his mind.

Mike Smyth's avatar

George S. Patton never stopped to consolidate his gains. He moved so fast, the Bradley and Ike never knew where he was. By the time a location report reached them, Patton was 30-miles deeper into Germany.

The Germans hated Patton, because Patton was unpredictable. They loved Montgomery and the British because they were predictable. The British always did the same thing: Artillery bombardment, advance, consolidate, then get pushed back to the starting point when the Germans counterattacked.

Patton never stopped. He never consolidated. He always moved forward and always kept the Germans off balance.

Robert Brusca's avatar

Patton recieved and believed 'ultra intel' from the code breaking machine... Montee never trusted it.

Reddog's avatar

Not sure about that. George Patton was a pioneer in having fresh intel and that meant daily updates. He had a great ability to look at intel and sort it out and weigh it against his knowledge of his adversary’s. He was a student of war and knew as much about his adversaries as he did about his peers. He once wrote, intelligently is like eggs, the fresher the better. Most of all, Patton was a risk evaluator and willing to accept risk while the Brits and Montgomery were not.

Jeremy R's avatar

Patton also had his staff working on contingency plans. When the Germans attacked the Ardennes, he'd seen it coming and had a plan ready to counter attack. He knew his enemy, constantly evaluated the situation and like a master chess player, was three moves ahead regardless of what the Germans tried.

He was Eisenhower's Grant. He fights.

Reddog's avatar

Yes, way ahead of most of his peers. Read the Patton Papers that GSP wrote. Really helps you understand how he thought and saw things. Much of his thought process is still the basis of Army doctrine today. All is still relevant.

Wim de Vriend's avatar

Monty was a vain peacock who blamed his biggest failures on others. The action at Arnhem comes to mind ...

Jeremy R's avatar

He also loved to take credit for the work of others. Churchill had to rein him in after the battle of the bulge. His press claims had most of the U.S. army officer corps ready to go back home.

darrell's avatar

I have been hearing a lot about intel during war time that none of the leaders receive true reporting from the front. That this is historically true in all of human history so I'm sure the war boys figure that in when they do the math.

Mike Ware's avatar

And it was decoded and figured out by his own people!

Mike Ware's avatar

MontDummery and his “Market Garden” fiasco couldn’t even move forward, much less consolidate. What a disaster that was!

Mike Smyth's avatar

Damn right! There's a great scene in "A Bridge Too Far" where an American major (Robert Redford) confronts a British officer about attacking now! The Brit says they have to wait for other units to arrive before they can attack. Redford blows a gasket.

Reddog's avatar

Very poor intelligence doomed the advance. And their appetite for ground gains was not weighed against their ability to resupply themselves. Typical British arrogance.

Mike Smyth's avatar

The intelligence was there. The Brits disregarded it and attacked anyway.

Reddog's avatar

Yes, they disregarded much of what was available because they were too committed to their plans. Total arrogance and it cost them dearly. It was almost criminal how they forged ahead with their plans even though they knew it was a stretch territory wise.

Mike Ware's avatar

Thank you Mike, I almost forgot about that scene. It’s been a minute since I’ve watched that movie. Pretty good movie, except for the depressing outcome!

Wim de Vriend's avatar

That depressing outcome included that most of the Netherlands (above the rivers) had to endure a cold winter of more German oppression without adequate fuel for heat plus serious starvation.

Consider this: by late April 1945, when there was no more doubt about the war's outcome, the American forces approached the German occupiers to allow air drops of food on Dutch fields. To their credit, the Germans agreed, so the American B-17s and B-24s that had been bringing bombs from England dropped food instead, to be grabbed by frantic people who could not believe their fortune -- truly Manna from Heaven!

Can you imagine ANY other nation that would have done such a thing?

steph_gray's avatar

Maybe he'll devote a week to finishing touches before 2028. Vacuuming and filling the floor vases, and stuffing Lindsey back into a closet somewhere.

I can wait.

After Trump takes out the Iranian government and affords the opportunity to replace them with a real representative body, I hope he brings the war effort home to take out the US media empire that is his bigger enemy.

Regarding NATO: It would have been better to have walked away from NATO a year ago leaving the Euroweenies wallowing in their own excrement of decision making. They will never come to our aid.

I sure hope we have a fully trained and energized replacement for PDJT that maintains the strength of leadership that is inherited from POTUS. The world will be poised to strike back as soon as he 'retires'.

TeaPartyGal's avatar

Shrugged, as to your last paragraph, there's an old saying "Don't build a bridge for evil to come across on."

Sometimes things that are a virtue for us (like vision, creativity, and imagination), can take a dysfunctional turn. Like this statement about "The world will be poised to strike back as soon as he 'retires'".

This is imagining in your head a way you can be harmed, then building it up in your mind to be possible, even likely, then even promoting the idea publicly, and then becoming afraid of it and fretting about it, and becoming distressed and upset about it.

Everything that happens in human life first has to be thought. E.g., we think of something we need to get at the grocery store, then we go get in the car to get it.

Of course, there is definitely a place for thinking ahead wisely and preparing in advance to stop bad things.

But immersing oneself too vividly in "envisioning" evil just seems harmful. It's laying out a pathway for evil; it puts the idea out there, and invites evil to take it up and act on it. It "plants" an idea.

Am just musing about this, but when such an idea pops up, it might be better to take that thought immediately to God, and listen instead for spiritual insights that unfold how His All-power and All-presence neutralize such fears and potential events. Revelation 12:9 unmasks "...that old serpent, called the Devil and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world..." that is always whispering at us. Scary, plausible lies, but nonetheless in God's eyes, still just "lies".

TPG, one would have to have been in a coma for the last 6 years to not see that Trump has been attacked nonstop from all angles including from the NEOCONS, the RINOs, and of course, our European and globalist neighbors. They are not allies as they are all promoting the globalist world view.

Trump is the ONLY thing standing in their way.

To ignore past performance of these players in our strategy to move forward is not only irresponsible, but a guaranteed failure. When you finally get to be "king of the hill" you earn the privilege of being attacked from all sides and defending your position 24/7. That's where we are. Maintaining our position of 'doing right' will require the highest levels of defensive vigilance.

You are always one to share kind thoughts and encouragement. I appreciate that, but this is war and those who directly or indirectly support globalism tried to assassinate him twice.

They will not only come after Trump if they see weakness, they will come after all of MAGA after 2028. We must have Trump 2.0 on deck well in advance of an anticipated blitzkrieg.

You are right about the magnitude of attack on Trump and that those attacks will continue.

But what about doing some "envisioning" about some of the good things that could happen, instead of only the bad things that could happen? For example, none of us, even in our wildest imaginations could have imagined the enormous amount of good Trump is doing. It's been like Christmas every day as he knocks one ball out of the park after another.

Plus, the astonishing Cabinet that is working side by side with Trump.

There have been an amazing number of wonderful things happening.

You know there will be wonderful things happening in the future as well. It would be intriguing to "envision" that as well, as a balance to the discernment of the potential evil.

One thing that dawned on me (a type of "envisioning") was what if Prince William in Britain could wake up and be roused to come to Britain's defense against all it's present woes. And Prince Harry as well. On the negative side, if these two brothers don't wake up soon, they are going to find themselves and their families as targets of the Muslims at some point. On the positive side, I sense William, in particular, could surprise us all and rise to the occasion of defending Britain and helping it return to sanity.

We now know that the U.K. cannot come to our aid in Iran because their Navy is basically in dry dock. They should change the phrase "Britannia rules the waves" to "Britannia waives the rules".

Get rid of Smith-Mundt, Obama version.

The worst of the AmeriPravda lies began after Obama gave them that carte blanche. Before that they at least tried to be subtle.

Trump can’t remove the Marxist media. Only the public can do so. We have been effectively doing so for the last ten years. The only thing still unknown is which ones change and survive and which ones don’t.

Shrugged's avatar

Oh, I don’t know about that. Restricting Pharma advertising on certain channels would dry up the gravy boat to some influential sources.

If roles were reversed, the Dems would have done this - and a lot more - by now.

Reddog's avatar

Our problem isn’t who chooses to advertise on them, it is the dumbstruck people on our side who keep them alive by clicking on their sites for entertainment and shock value.

On this war/excursion into Iran I think it will end when we have control of their nuclear material. Without it this would seem to be just delaying their dreams of erasing Israel.

Jerry from Chicago's avatar

I am sure that is one of his primary goals along with having them stop wishing death to America, Israel and all their citizens. Imagine a world where Iran stops funding their terrorist proxies!

Every time a Mullah says those words, we should destroy his entire town.

Would that include Dearborn, MI? Maybe we could pinpoint the target and make it his mosque and/or home?

Don't forget Minneapolis.

Without the ability to sell oil, Iran is doomed. They are still exporting it as we speak to China and elsewhere. If we take control of the Strait of Hormuz and the Karge depot, Iran is bankrupt. That is coming very soon.

steph_gray's avatar

I have a feeling that a lot of the action right now, while useful in its own right, may also be functioning as smokescreen for some top-level teams already on the nuclear case.

The chances are greater than zero that you are right. Methinks they've been there all the time (Mossad).....

MUST SEE TV!! While the President is busy decimating what remains of the Iranian leadership, our VP is busy building a whole of government task force whose sole aim is to root out the massive fraud occurring across this country in every state, with the goal of prosecuting the criminals and could quite possibly result in balancing our budget!!

So much winning!!!!

Watch this entire press conference- it’s loaded!

In 2011 Donald Trump, interviewed by the Wall Street Journal, said he would “take the oil “ from Iraq to keep Iran from gaining control.

Since the 1980’s Donald Trump has been telling the world about his vision for the future.

But it appears few believe that he is a “Man of his word”.

They are learning what Wilbur Ross meant when he told the world:

“Underestimate Donald John Trump at your own peril.”
