The punchline lands because Democrats earned it. They demonized white men, mocked faith, trashed football, attacked Thanksgiving, called borders racist, excused communists, embraced Hamas-adjacent politics, and treated America’s founding as a crime scene. Now their bench is full of Abdul El-Sayeds, James Talaricos, Francesca Hongs, Graham Platners, and campus freaks trying to govern real people. Surber’s Hitler reveal is obscene because the truth is obscene. Socialism plus Jew-hatred plus grievance plus authoritarian dreams does not end in justice. It ends in tyranny. Democrats need to stop pretending the monster wandered in. They built the lab.

You forgot the rahman Mohamed part of his name when you referenced the Michigan communist nominated by the communist party for Michigan senator. It is important to use his full name. We might have been spared Obama if his full name had been plastered all over.Remember: Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed.

For me, El-Sayed says enough.

Democrat Socialist, National Socialist, what's the difference?

That's not a riddle. It's just a rhetorical question leading to the conclusion that, as long as you avoid using the acronym NAZI and refrain from identifying the most famous promoter of the Nationalist brand, you really can't tell the programs apart, as Don so well illustrates. But to the masses of unreflective lemmings who support the Democrat Socialist party and its candidates, Trump is Hitler and Trump supporters are the Nazis. Welcome to Bizzaro America.

I picked Mangione, not Trump. Trump, except for being a ruthless businessman (something this country needs to deal with the current world), has none of the characteristics that Democrats would love. Mangione is agood choice for liberal Democrats, however, as he is like Charlie Kirk's killer - hiding in the shadows, believing that somehow destroying the truth, or someone's reputation, or their ability to lead, by killing the person they hate, will somehow make them a 'hero' and not the pathetic, liberal lunatic they really are. Watch any real video of liberals surrounding ICE officers trying to do their job, or muslims (small 'm' intended for lack of respect) surrounding and shouting at Christians, and you will see the 'mob' mentality of the sick and the cowardly. The real Democrats, and I believe there are still millions of 'middle of the road' rational Democrats out there, need to take control of their own party, or they need to vote for the people who really represent their values and not the values of this fringe 'socialist/communist' led American hating, so called, 'democratic socialists' group (small letters again for lack of respect).

Suzie's avatar

What values do Democrats actually offer? Really ever? They’ve always been only about power throughout their party’s entire history. They unleashed the bloodiest war in our nation’s history to keep other humans as slaves! If they hadn’t been pulverized by that war this country would have never survived as it has.

They offer nothing but subjugation to the almighty government. Just like Mussolini, their credo is, “Of the state, by the state, for the state!”

History has proven over and over again where that leads - and it’s nowhere good.

They are nothing more than Godless criminals, who want to rule over the ashes of everything of value this country was founded upon.

They need to be crushed into dust and thrown into the dustbin of history.

Sam Prentice's avatar

Too many people seem to believe all we need to do is defeat these monsters politically. I point out that we won two times over them with Trump and where has that gotten us with them? They scream their loss was fraudulent and that they are the rightful victors. They burn things, riot, and obstruct our agenda in any manner available. They need to pray to their demons that we never become who they have always accused us of being! As of late, many times I wish we were the violent white supremacists they cast us as, and we would ensure none of them could ever spread their contamination around us again.

Suzie's avatar

Defeating them politically is just the essential first step, but the awakening of the citizenry from their slumber over the past several decades that got us here is what constitutes the long war ahead.

While the Dems go through the next transmogrification of their latest version of Woke, (which now primarily contains all the elements of antisemitism, communism and Islamism), an opposite reaction is just beginning to dawn on those who still retain some semblance of sanity in this country. We have a long way to go, but I firmly believe that cohort to be more of a majority than the destroyer sect.

But one thing stands as the absolute imperative in this long war toward renormalizing normal, and that is that that so-called party can never, ever be allowed near the levers of power again.

This election in November will determine whether we can endure to continue the fight, or will need to hunker down for what will only grow to become something far more horrific than that which we are confronting today.

Amy's avatar

I’ve not come across any middle of the road Democrats. Seems to me there are only the Democrats smart enough to keep their mouths shut while inwardly hoping the progressives/leftists/communists they knowingly allowed to take over their party win every election. I read all the time that the current Democrat leadership aren’t liberals, that somehow “liberals” would never be on board with the likes of Mamdummy, el Sid, Sandy Cortez, etc., but “liberals” are the ones who promoted these dangerous anti-Americans to fellow Democrats. I keep saying - our Democrat voting friends and family are completely aware of and OK with the leadership of their disgusting party.

John Wiles's avatar

Okay, maybe there aren't enough sane ones left to make a difference, but that is a very sad state for humanity in general. I do believe if you don't like the way things are done here, please get a ticket to some other place to live, but you can't fix stupid, and there are a lot of stupid people out there ... I was just hoping they weren't maybe all Democrats.

dancingtime's avatar

The middle of the road Dems are commonly referred to as Blue Dog Democrats....fiscally conservative and socially liberal. They do not generally vote straight ticket. They are also generally older from time frame in which people had manners. Those older people who no longer respect manners of civil society generally do so because they have now lived through 2+ generations of extremely rude, in your face young people.

Sam Prentice's avatar

The only thing you find in the middle of the road is a dead skunk. There are no moderate Dems, only those who choose to stay silent and let others chant their hatred.

dancingtime's avatar

Well….Mr. Closed Mind….color me a dead skunk in the middle of the road….I know many people who were like me: fiscally conservative and socially liberal who were registered Democrats who voted cross ballot…In fact, if the Dems were not so far left these days and controlled in their policies, there are many local contests in which I would cross that line rather than vote for the running Republican. Instead, I will most likely leave some individual contests blank instead of voting for a known incompetent Republican or someone posing as a Republican who will act as a Democrat when in office.

I registered as a Democrat back when you had to be 21 to vote. I was straight out of college and didn’t know the difference (just like today’s “straight out of college” voters) between the parties. In the end, it makes no difference which party you are registered with. It’s how you vote that counts. And that is between you and the ballot.

So, Mr. Closed Mind with little experience outside of your secluded life, there are many people who fall into the category of Blue Dog Democrat. There is no coined word that I know of to counter that on the Republican side.

Sam Prentice's avatar

That's funny. You did leave the Dems didn't you because you still sound like one. I also started out as a Dem and Carter and Reagan turned me into a Republican. Anyone who has stayed as a Dem anytime in the last couple of decades fits my description perfectly. Lighten up.

dancingtime's avatar

I have no intention of lightening up. Who are you?

dancingtime's avatar

I sound like a Dem? Really? How so? What does a Dem sound like? Wants ICE to get all illegals out? Wants voting to be as it used to be? Show your ID? What aspect of “sounding like a Dem” are you referring to? The problem with FB and Substack etc is that there are too many people on it with a limited scope of experiences and all they am say is to regurgitate what others say.

Sam Prentice's avatar

The Dems showed Charlie Kirk how open THEIR minds are, didn't they? And they keep trying to impress that fact on Trump as well, don't they.

Retirednottired's avatar

There are still Dems out there who believe their party is the party of JFK. And yet they still vote for and support the crazies who JFK would have deported or jailed. Go figure that out.

TeaPartyGal's avatar

They don't actually know enough about the crazies to realize they are crazies, because the Left media buries that information.

Sam Prentice's avatar

If you are an active Democrat, you are a complete and total scumbag and a worthless POS. No more sugar-coating these vermin. Supposedly decent people who are Democrats see nothing wrong by laughing that they have a bullet just for Trump. My best friend told me that he recently was leaving his Catholic Mass and still sitting in the pew when another churchgoer told him he was praying that someone would kill Trump! In church immediately after communion! These people are twisted, sick, and damaged beyond any hope of repair. And they wouldn't even have a clue as to why they want him dead. Their queen bee tells them Trump is bad and needs to be killed. And they eagerly agree.

TeaPartyGal's avatar

I too picked Mangione. He embodies the massive self-righteousness of the Left, that is so convinced that their assessment of who is a villain is correct, that they are entitled to kill them.

As to your statement "I believe there are still millions of 'middle of the road' rational Democrats out there,.."; I would phrase it differently. There are indeed millions of Democrats right now who are OTHERWISE very intelligent and decent people, but they are NOT "rational" when it comes to politics. The Left has some kind of "emotional" hook in them that is overriding their rationality.

This is the most crucial segment of the American population that we need to wake up. If this segment of Democrats were to wake up, the Democratic party would be utterly and permanently demolished.

HOWEVER, just last night I was having a conversation with a friend whose spirituality I highly respect, and it veered into politics. Over the years I've poured out my heart trying to make her aware of what was going on, but she had moved into the Democratic camp, and last night I realized she is more entrenched than ever in the "Trump Bad" belief system. I also recently had some extended time with my family who were here on vacation--highly intelligent (LITERAL Valedictorians), but all steeped in the academia mindset, more firmly than ever before.

But it is increasingly obvious how far out of touch with reality they are. There is some psychological factor that has got a huge grip on this segment of Democrats. It is true cult behavior-- they don't want to discuss, they don't want to even hear, they won't even look at or read ANY news from the Right. Cults are characterized by training their members to NOT interact with the outside society, because encountering the ideas in the outside society would PIERCE the Cult belief system. Anyone who doesn't believe in the Cult's beliefs is to be shunned, avoided, (mentally, if not physically; tho often physically, too).

This has become so extreme, that they have now become actually childish. They are like ostriches that stick their head in the sand; and like the toddler that hides behind their mother's legs in the belief that if they can't see the stranger, the stranger can't see them.

It is incredible that a "smart" segment of the American population can be made to voluntarily cut themselves off from any information that challenges the narrative they are relentlessly fed by the corrupt Left media.

"Mass formation psychosis" appears to be a real thing. The only antidote I can think of is to continue to simultaneously love and respect them but also persist in challenging the "bubble" they are living in. If enough of us (and we are the majority of the country) do this persistently without being intimidated away from them, something has got to break, and they are going to start waking up.

My sweet baby sister, born on my 5th birthday, who grew up with a wonderful Baptist mother and attended the College of Charleston has this condition. She moved to California with her new husband and then to Portland OR. When I first visited Portland 30 years ago, it was beautiful and well managed. Now my sis advocates all the nonsense there and is a victim of immersion in a cult like environment.

MSM and NPR cheerleaders keep the fire burning. Me and my two sisters still love her and pray for her recovery…

NNTX's avatar

Perfect example of the cultish, ostrich behavior is the elevation of Jason Arday (his subsequent apparent suicide sad; They “groomed” him to believe that adulation would never end, and when it did, he did not have the strength to withstand humiliation).

Now academia and its minions cry foul though they are to blame for their DEI principles that belie objective reality and merit.

Cookie McCall's avatar

I also picked Mangione - what an evil, self-entitled, hero in his own mind creep!

Sam Prentice's avatar

You will never change their hearts or their minds. They are FUBAR. They hate YOU! Anyone who supports Trump is exactly the same to them as him. They are mentally insane and trigger easily. Notice how it is only people like you and me that try and tip toe lightly around these people so as not to stir them. They have no such regard or caution regarding you or me. They will say and do anything they want because they feel they are superior and entitled. You will never change any of them.

Sheila Barkofske's avatar

I also picked Luigi & oddly w/o even thinking about it. Actually the question is a non starter because there is no way for a party immersed in toxic feminism to attract its opposite. After all the natural sex drive is the ultimate source of toxic masculinity. In fact, I contend that is the reason they hate Trump so much. Watched an interview with Naomi Wolff & Miranda Devine & Miranda put the question out as to why liberal (& I use that term loosely) are so unhappy (aka Jennifer Welch like) & Naomi stated the obvious. Where is Sigmund Freud when you need him.

RevMikeyMac's avatar

This. Muslims have been enslaving people for 1400 years (give or take). Mike Roger's needs to throw that back at him early and often.

Kevin C.'s avatar

Or the East African Slave Trade? Inconvenient history.

Jeremy R's avatar

As islam spread across Africa, they murdered many of those who refused to convert. Not all, they took the desirable women and slight young boys to be slaves in Iran and Saudi Arabia. They castrated the boys and the sons of the female slaves. Later, they saw that there was money to be made in selling healthy men in the Atlantic slave market.

The slaves who came to the United States won the lottery. The ones who went to South America or the Caribbean accounted for the vast majority and also the vast majority of deaths. Because of the limitations put on the US slave trade, those here were more highly valued, they were darn near irreplaceable.

I'm not saying that slavery was good, just that the ones who came here were the best off.

Today much of Africa is a hell hole. Islam continues to destroy their chances at civilization where it is spreading, and the lash back from colonialism has crippled Rhodesia and is in the process of destroying South Africa now.

Hope this helps.

Juliette Ochieng's avatar

No it does not help because I’ve read and written about the Trans-Saharan slave trade conducted by the Ottoman Empire and other Islamic entities several times over the past decade.

I asked another person to specify about *East African* slave trade, a topic he brought up in response to my assertion about the Trans-Saharan trade.

I wanted to find out if he was differentiating between the two because there really is no difference.

But I didn’t want to make presumptions like some seem to be doing with me. I wasn’t asking for a history of slavery on the entire continent.

I asked for specifics.

Susan Daniels's avatar

Mike Rodgers is an IC snake. He's defended the CIA, FBI, and Hillary's State Department from scrutiny during the Benghazi mess that underpinned the 2016 election manipulation. He was the Chair of the SSCI and wrote the fabricated report that covered for Clinton's Benghazi mess. My big question is: what strategy will he use? Bush's go-along-to-get-along or Trump's go-for-the-jugular? If he wants to win, he'd better choose the latter.

TeaPartyGal's avatar

You're right. Rogers is not the strong MAGA-type that would be our first choice. But I guess we have to tolerate "incremental" improvement. As a "moderate" Republican, that MAY help him win over radical El-Sayed in Michigan. At least I hope so. Michigan can't endure another Democratic senator or governor. John James, the Republican candidate for governor, is also not the strong MAGA-type we would want. But again, he'd be a gigantic improvement over Whitmer and Jocelyn Benson.

Deb Hill's avatar

Exactly, neither candidate was my choice, but I'll hold my nose and vote for them. Jocelyn Benson would be a disaster for Michigan in every way.

Obama jumped the shark when he proclaimed his intent to fundamentally change America. It was a proclamation of intent to destroy the country. Normal country living American heard him. They heard a con man proudly declaring his intent to steal the Rube's money. Normal Americans responded to the wakeup call. They found Trump to fight back. Then came Biden who emulated Angela Merkel by opening our doors to an invading army of Muslims and drug cartels. Now the Democratic Party is conducting a test. The question is, "Have we destroyed American education sufficiently to take everlasting power without firing a shot?" That goal has been at the center of Democratic strategy since the 1950's. The Bozos of various stripes and Muslims they are currently sending forth as test subjects, aka candidates, can only succeed where (1) Americans are too ignorant to see through the charades, or (2) are too lazy or discouraged to vote, or (3) the Dems skill at cheating overcomes honest votes. The success of the Dem's test is in jeopardy because Americans are becoming educated by non-legacy media and a President who calls out the Dem media allies every day. Even as Trump and others make war on election corruption, Trump proved that elections can be won despite thumbs on the scale. Bonus factor: Mamdani is damaging the Dem side by providing a daily dose of reality to the fools who would believe a socialist's promises of free stuff.

Wim de Vriend's avatar

For the Democrats' Muslim politicians, and for everybody who is sick and tired of their endless carping about slavery, I've got great news: history's biggest slave-hunters and slave-abusers were the Muslims. And to catch them they roamed far and wide, "harvesting" slaves from as far as Iceland:

"During our month of travel, two or three old women died, who had been taken captive in east Iceland. Their bodies were wrapped in old sailcloth, and they were quickly tossed overboard. On the 16th or 17th of August we came to Algiers, the place where our captors lived. Straight after the anchor had hit bottom, the captured people were put on land, in a great hurry, and our sufferings, which God alone can redress, continued. When the poor Icelandic people were put on land, such a huge crowd gathered, that I think it was impossible to count their number. They did not come for any cruel purpose, but only to look at the poor captives. We Icelanders were separated from each other, friend from friend, children from their parents, and driven through the streets from one house to another, to the marketplace, where we were put up for auction, as if we were sheep, or cattle. The people who’d been captured in east Iceland were the first offered for sale, the men then being kept separate in some houses, the women in other houses. This went on until the 28th of August, by which time most of the east Iceland people were sold. We poor western-island people were taken to the marketplace in groups, each of 30. The Turks guarded each group in front and behind, and counted heads at each street corner, because the inhabitants of that place will steal such captive people, if they get the chance. When we came to the marketplace, we were placed in a circle, and everyone’s hands and face were inspected. Then the king chose from this group those that he wanted, every eighth … His first choice amongst the boys was my own poor son, 11 years old, whom I will never forget, as long as I live, because of the depth of his understanding and knowledge. When he was taken from me, I asked him in God’s name, not to forsake his faith. He said, with great grief, ‘I will not, my father. They can treat my body as they will, but my soul I shall keep for my good God.’ I and my wife and our two young children, the 1-year old and 1-month old, were taken from that place up to the king’s Hall, and there we sat, with the children in our arms, for two hours. From there we were then taken to the king’s prison, where we spent that night. From that time on, I do not know what became of the rest of the Icelandic people. I would like to comfort and strengthen the people with my words, but I cannot, and whether I speak of such things or not, my suffering does not lessen. Whatever happens, we are the Lord’s.”

Think about when we were down to the last decisive vote in the Senate to overturn Obamacare, and then our stalwart Dr. Evil, John the walking cadaver McCain voted NO! It is no wonder at all why the Republican Party in New England is a pathetic joke. I am rather a cynic after seeing too many close Connecticut gubernatorial races decided by cartons of missing ballots conveniently discovered in car trunks in Bridgeport always seemingly deciding the previously close election.

Well if PDJT pulls off the post office endeavor, and the ballots go through the mail, they’ll have nothing but drop boxes to work with.

This is where Flock cameras might have an upside, provided of course we can keep the left out of power to seize them.

Election integrity is key but so is finding and nurturing good R candidates like Mike Minogue.

It’s a sin that so many R slots in New England elections are empty.

Texas has looong been coveted by Democrats, and under Abbott’s watch, and tjanks to the Bushies, and the Cornyn’s and the RINO confederates, they’ve almost succeed in accomplishing that goal.

If Texas goes blue we’re done for. And it’s damn close to happening.

Like we all know, fraud on every level is the number one problem in America.
