Let’s start the week off right with a nice big cuppa liberal tears. For eight years, liberals dreamed of seeing President Trump in a mugshot. They finally got their wish.
Liberals gloated, then reality struck.
The Hill reported, “Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.) shared a video of him laughing at the mugshot photo and saying, ‘We got you, and more to come . . . Clown, thug, crook, criminal.’”
Shortly afterward, the congressman realized the error Democrats made.
He panicked and tweeted, 'This mugshot is not what you think it is.
“It’s a jackpot for Trump who will use this image to raise MILLIONS of dollars from his cult — and the worst part is they are going to use it to win even more elections so they can change our laws to make it easier to steal our democracy.
“It’s a symbol of everything that is wrong with our country. It is a reminder of the deep divisions that exist, the hatred that is spewed, and hate is tolerated. It is a sign that our democracy is in danger.
“After today, the Republican Party will solidify their support around Trump and our fate will be sealed.”
I hope so. When communists like Bowman say democracy, they mean letting bureaucrats control you through the federal government. We get one last chance to vote our way out of this craziness. Trump’s defiance gives America hope and rallies Real Americans to fight on.
Liberals now hate the very mugshot they demanded. They are so triggered, Roy Rogers should be riding them.
The Atlantic whined, “The Mugshot Is a Warning.
“Donald Trump’s booking photo was supposed to be an exercise in humility. He turned it into a threat.”
Atlantic writer Megan Garber wrote, “In the portrait — it is a portrait, in the end — Trump glares directly into the camera. He seethes. He glowers. He turns in a studied performance. Photos like this are typically exercises in enforced humility. Trump’s is a display of ongoing power. He treats his mugshot as our menace.”
She’s darn tootin’ he has power. Trump has the power of a innocent man falsely accused of nonsensical crimes with serious penalties for corrupt judges to impose. Americans back him as never before. The message is clear. We either fight back together or we die alone.
Stephen Collinson of CNN wrote, “Trump has weaponized every aspect of his legal struggle to super charge the cult of victimization and vengeance that drives his political appeal. Trump quickly posted his booking photo to his Truth Social network, and used it to return to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. His campaign is already plastering it everywhere — likely to help raise the cash he’s spending on his defense and turning his shame into a new kind of power, in another affront to the justice system.
“For any other politician, a mugshot would be the end. For Trump, it’s a springboard.”
That, dearie, is because no president has ever persecuted his opponent. None. As president, Obama used the FBI to spy on Donald Trump but it took Biden to unleash the banana republic hell that I hope will consume him and his Democrat Party. The reason no president did this before is that the other presidents were smart enough not to. Reaction to the mugshot shows how poorly liberals played this.
NYT’s Maureen Dowd was unhappy that the mugshot made Trump a martyr. She wrote, “It should have revealed a man so cynical and depraved that he is willing to smash our nation’s soul — our democracy — and destroy faith in our institutions. All this simply to avoid being called a loser.”
The nation should have faith in God, not government. In God we trust not the FBI, CDC or FDA.
Trump spokeswoman Alina Habba thanked District Attorney Fani Willis for the mugshot.
Habba said, “They didn’t need the mugshot. It was, I guess to her, probably a trophy, but thank you, because now the trophy actually became ours. She wanted to get it done. We obviously had told her that no other jurisdiction required it, he is the single most famous man on the planet.”
Trump is so scared of Willis and her Fani that he went out and shot a 5-under-par 67 to win a Senior Club Championship on Saturday.
The deep state messed with the wrong man. It also messed with the wrong people: Americans. Politico reported, “Trump raised $7.1 million after Georgia booking, mugshot.”
It is money well spent because we need Trump again to bring down the loathsome, corrupt and fascist people in the federal government who use criminal justice as a blunt instrument. The FBI had CNN tag along as it SWATTED Roger Stone and his wife over some procedural claim.
The DC justice system treats J6 protesters worse than ISIS terrorists.
Meanwhile, Jimmy the Weasel Comey blocked prosecuting Hillary — granting immunity to her accomplices and destroying evidence.
The DOJ ignored the Summer of Riots in 2020.
Federal prosecutor David Weiss protected Hunter Biden from prosecution for the millions in bribes he raked in over the years for his father, FJB. When people complained about the crooked deal to give lifetime immunity to Hunter, DOJ decided to investigate David Weiss and appointed a special prosecutor — David Weiss.
Republicans look the other way like rhinoceroses ignoring the killing one of their own.
But we the people are rising to do the job the people we elected will never do. Trump’s mugshot rallied Americans to finally fight back against the evil monster that the federal government devolved into. Twitter was flooded with white conservatives posting videos of black men siding with Trump.
Libs meanwhile claim black people in Atlanta are thrilled that he was indicted by a black woman prosecutor. One guy said Martin Luther King would enjoy the indictment. Given that MLK was a political prisoner once, I doubt Democrats criminalizing Republicanism pleases him now.
Indicting Trump was a mistake because that reveals the rife corruption of a terrible federal government that has the power to lie to you — and throw you in prison if you lie to the FBI, SEC or any of the other bureaucratic dictatorships north of Richmond.
He is not a victim. He is the form of the destructor they have chosen.
Craig Smith wrote in Newsweek, “In the early ’90s, I was a militant activist and bank robber. I saw myself as a black Robin Hood, stealing from white-owned banks to fund black cultural events. I was caught and sentenced under then-Senator Joe Biden’s 1994 crime bill to an unheard of 52 years, though I was a first time offender and no one was hurt during any of my robberies. And I was released by Trump's 2019 criminal justice reform bill, the First Step Act, thanks to Trump’s prodding of Congress to reverse many of the draconian laws written and supported by our current president.
“The former president freed 5,000 incarcerated people like me from outrageous sentences. Yet he is now facing the possibility of serving a sentence of his own. As I watched former President Donald Trump get perp-walked and mugshot at the Fulton County Jail in Georgia, I couldn’t help but notice the deep irony: The same criminal justice system that Trump made radical reforms to is now being used to discredit him and hamper his chances of winning the presidency for a second time.
“None of us who have benefited from Trump's radical reform of the criminal justice system under the First Step Act are blind to that irony. But it goes beyond that: Trump's repeated run-ins with the law, and what seems like an unfair obsession with catching him and punishing him disproportionately for his so-called crimes, reminds a lot of us of what was done to us.”
Indicted four times, Trump hasn’t bent at the knee. He stands tall. He puts the fear of God in liberals — which is nice since so many of them need to have the fear of the Lord before it is too late.
Smith ended his column, “At the end of the day, these repeated arrests may end up having a very unintended consequence. Instead of proving to the country that Trump is unelectable, it may have removed a barrier in the form of him being unrelatable. These arrests have made Trump relatable to the 5 million people in America under some form of supervision by the U.S. criminal legal system.
“In 2020, President Trump got the votes of 18% of black men. Don't be surprised if he gets more in 2024 if he's the GOP nominee for president. Now that he's suffered the indignity of what Joe Biden's crime bill put so many of us through, he will be an even bigger champion of our cause.”
The defiance in Trump’s mugshot has turned the tables on the press and the rest of the sociopaths who want Trump and his supporters dead. He has become Liam Neeson in Taken.
Trump’s minacious mugshot owes a tip of his MAGA hat to Tom DeLay, the former Republican congressman from Texas who would have been the Speaker of the House when Dennis Hastert resigned and went to prison for having sex with male minors.
On October 20, 2005, DeLay had to pose for a mugshot after a Democrat prosecutor indicted him over the same kind of horseshit that Fani Willis, Alvin Bragg and Jack Smith are indicting him on.
DeLay turned the mugshot against the prosecutors.
NBC was appalled. It reported, “Why is Tom DeLay smiling? After all, he’s been indicted. Forced out of his job as House majority leader. And called into court for fingerprinting and a mugshot like a common criminal.
“Answer: A photo of DeLay grinning from ear to ear doesn’t pack quite the punch in a Democratic attack ad as one that looks more like the mugshot of, say, actor Hugh Grant, after his arrest in 1995 for picking up a prostitute.
“Note the House of Representatives security pin on DeLay’s lapel.
“He looks in the photo like a proud member of Congress who might just have won the lottery, not one indicted on charges of money laundering. The photo looks like it could have been taken anywhere.”
Oh, the Democrats got their conviction, which ended his career. But the appellate court said the evidence did not support the Democrat prosecutor’s claims made and threw out the conviction.
Time magazine pointed out that Texas Governor Rick Perry and Senator John Edwards followed DeLay’s lead and smiled in their mugshots. Both men were exonerated by jurors who didn’t believe Democrat prosecutors.
It is said that justice delayed is justice denied.
Ah, but mugshots DeLayed help bring about justice.
The RINO rodeo last week on Fox was a farce designed to steal Trump supporters.
The only issue in this presidential election is whether or not we allow Biden to railroad Trump. All of Washington cheers Joe on. Oh, they have known for decades that Biden is a dummy, that he is a pedo, and that he is easily bribed. But by golly, he is their stupid, perverted crook and they stand behind him 100%.
Never Trumpers have started to notice that Trump 2024 is not like Trump 2016 or Trump 2020. He has scaled back the campaign stops.
Never Trump National Review’s Rich Lowry clucked his tongue: “The cockiness could well be justified, but a sense of inevitability can be a two-edged sword. On the one hand, it disheartens the opposition and communicates strength; on the other, it can fade into a high-handed sense of taking the voters for granted.”
Trump takes nothing for granted because he is not the witless ape that NR keeps calling him that.
NR’s Charles C. W. Cooke wrote, “In 2023, Trump is cutting an arrogant, lazy, bored figure, whose lackluster vapor-campaign seems to have more in common with 2016 Hillary Clinton and 2020 Joe Biden than with his 2016 effort.”
I always enjoy the lack of self-awareness of a chairborne journalist calling others arrogant and lazy. It’s as if instead of a screen, Cooke types with a mirror facing him.
Maybe age has caught up with Trump — or maybe scaling back is an acknowledgement that Trump 24/7 eats time to prepare for trials. The media cannot resist itself and will focus on those four indictments as if it were Kim Kardashian’s next wedding. He needs to make those show trials the central issue in the campaign if he is to be elected next year.
Liberals know their charges are bogus, which is why they now fear Trump because his mugshot shows he will fight them in court and fight them in his second term in a manner never seen before.
Sorry Republicans, you have no choice but Donald Trump. He has to win because if he goes down, all hope for restoring our republic goes with him. That mugshot that liberals demanded backfired. Their sobs are music to mine ears.
Who should be perp walked?
Barack Hussein Obama
“Trump has the power of an innocent man falsely accused of nonsensical crimes with serious penalties for corrupt judges to impose. Americans back him as never before.”
Biblically speaking, has anyone had more false witness borne against him than POTUS DJT?
Et tu, “Christian” Mike Pence?
“The nation should have faith in God, not government. In God we trust not the FBI, CDC or FDA.”
“It is money well spent because we need Trump again to bring down the loathsome, corrupt and fascist people in the federal government who use criminal justice as a blunt instrument.”
@ this point fighting World War II was a complete waste of lives, $$, & time. The Fascism we fought against has taken root here & become modus vevendi of our “ruling class”.
