That comment needs to be framed and on everyone’s wall so we never forget. We have been living a lie of emended proportions for decades. I’m convinced the election process has been corrupt for a couple decades at least. When you look at how states resist openness in allowing their process to be audited you see the problem. The question should always be asked, “what reason would a state have for NOT wanting their election process to be transparent and adutiable”?

Trusting the CIA? They have proven to be just the opposite. The CIA should be reorganized and reduced to a size that is manageable for presidents. As for their black budget, the only people who do not know what their budget consists of is Americans. That is one change that needs to be made immediately. Trust - easy to give, hard to retrieve. A nation, us, who offers trust expects trust in return. Have we been taken advantage of? Of course. It is really people making decisions on our behalf, elected officials, starting with the President of the United States. Will there be another Trump? Probably not in my lifetime. In my children's lifetime? I certainly hope so. Saudi Arabia as a 'friend' means Iran is an enemy. "The enemy of my friend is my enemy." In order to destroy Iran, you have to kill the people in charge. We've done a fair job, but the Iranians are not stupid when it comes to war. They have had centuries of practice. Their diversifed military, the IRGC specifically, makes it hard to pin a group and kill them. Pinpoint accuracy of weaponry is difficult when the enemy hides in public and meets in secret. Boots on the ground is also not a good answer as 'they all look alike', sorry, is true if you are wearing a uniform, carrying a gun, and trying to be careful who you shoot. Not a good situation. Arming the populace would be ideal. Of course, that assumes the populace wants to get rid of their current form of government and try something new ... that's a maybe, maybe. Eventually, if we continue to target their military hideouts, boat ramps, meeting rooms, etc., we will get the bulk of them. Wouldn't it be nice if the Saudi's and the surrounding countries who are also being attacked said, "Hey, enough, we know who the bad guys are next door. We are all going in and kick their ass until we find a generation who will listen." Wishful thinking? Probably, but you never know in today's every changing international political climate.
