The state republicans, in 2020, ignored and smirked at allegations of voter "irregularities" , i.e. a Detroit precinct with 105% turnout (adjacent districts turnout ranged from 37-50%) and documentation of people voting that would be 120 yrs old. Dems won the executive branch and this brought us a Soros backed AG and rabid leftist Secretary of State. The cherry on top - we also lost the supreme court. But the state republicans were re-elected that year.
The same "winning" tactics were employed in 2022 on steroids. The republicans were swept aside and three radical ballot proposals were approved, including adding to our constitution abortion until birth and a right of minors to gender affirming care. I don't think there will be any coming back.
