The column and the poll nail it.

The elites like Austin don’t work for the American people.

With very few exceptions, congressmen don’t work for the American people.

The political party machinery don’t work for the American people.

PDJT worked and will work again for the American people.

The great majority of politicians from both parties share the evil Carville’s mindset. Amorality runs rampant in the halls of our nation’s capitol building, federal departments and agencies. Same with the majority of state governments, red and blue states.

Most of your graft and corruption start at the city and county level. His name was Jasiel F. Correia II. He was the mayor of Fall River, MA and he was SO corrupt he would make Joe Biden proud. He was SO corrupt that even after being indicted and formally charged and he STILL wouldn't step down. State and Fall River police had to forcefully remove him from the mayor's office. So, how bad was he? He actually said to reporters as he was being "Escorted" out of the mayors office, he yelled to reporters that "He would run again after he did his time in jail." I believe him.....and he is just as shameless as Joe Biden.

No. I meant amorality. An absence of morality, a disregard or incapacity to be be moral.

Expand full comment

John Adams wrote the Constitution was not made for amoral people.

Expand full comment

As a Christian, I don't think it is possible for people to be amoral unless they are incapable of understanding the implications of what they've done. We are all here because we ate of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil; all humans have (1) the capacity at some level to understand what is good and what is evil and (2) a willingness to accept some evil.

A child might not realize that feeding a bear is wrong because it puts not just himself but others in danger. But you'll have a hard time convincing me James Carville doesn't understand that what he said was immoral, that he is putting himself above others and taking advantage of them. Just because he's indifferent to whether it is right or wrong doesn't excuse him from responsibility.

I agree that Carville will have to account for his behavior and depravity.

Mr. Surber: "But what The Intercept inadvertently admitted was the truth that Fox News is just another propaganda machine."

I amicably disagree. It's Lachlan Murdoch's Political Action Committee, the twin of the "bankrupt" Silicon Valley Bank (D-CA) (I wouldn't be at all surprised if someday we find out that Dominion returned 25% of the Fox lawsuit money as a kickback after the Madison Square Garden's 1950s Fake Wrestling lawsuit was settled ).

And Austin is a twerp who should be running a barbershop (anywhere you like, name the state and the town). Speaking of PAC's, Austin's Pentagon is America's largest Political Action Committee. Guess whose side they're on. Hint: Not Taiwan.

I still think the only way to break up this unholy uniparty cabal is with a viable third party. I am well aware of the problems with this idea but the last time a third party used its voice to push the unholy alliance was when Ross Perot did it and he was successful in bringing about concessions and changes. We can do it again.

You gotta admit, the spin Austin has put on the issue will work in the media.

1) Change the subject from abortion.

2) Declare Tuberville the enemy.

3) Make support for military the paramount question.

4) Keep the question away from the WH & Biden.

Clever maneuvering by PR flacks.

Tuberville's approach is quite good, but Austin's carrying water for Biden admin is effective.

The truths are truly self evident: our country is run by a shadow government with a demented pervert as “leader.” Our military is run by an incompetent set of leaders chosen for their sexual preferences and skin color rather than their merit. Our congress is run by narcissistic sycophants who only want to self enrich themselves. Our fellow Americans are getting poorer sicker and unhappier each passing day.

Anti-American politicians and environmentalists have a common goal. That goal is to keep American capitalism in chains. Don, the coal mining behemoths you mention are getting exactly what they want. American coal production is being killed while Australian coal production thrives. The investors in Australia are mostly the same people who own mines in America. The Aussie mines, without the extreme regulation found in America, thrive by selling coal to China, the world's largest polluter.

Modern American power plants fueled by coal are super clean. They achieve clean power by burning finely ground coal powder injected into the furnace with high pressure pumps. The powder does not burn, it explodes in the furnace, producing minute residue. What residue is produced is filtered and scrubbed out of the exhaust so that pollution is near zero. (You won't learn that from the MSM)

China uses mostly old style burning coal power plants that turn China's air gray. Ask anyone who has visited China and they will confirm the gray air. The Chinese wear masks for a real reason Readers will recall that China shut down many power plants for six months prior to the 2020 (?) Olympics in a vain attempt to clean the air.

Make no mistake, donors are getting exactly what they want, a Democrat controlled Congress, i.e., one that can be bought, to which they have access at will.

"The Intercept said, 'The senator received tens of thousands of dollars from Fox executives and lawyers from April to June...'"

Are the contributions from both executives and lawyers of Fox, or assorted lawyers not necessarily employed by Fox, and Fox executives? It's a confusing sentence, and I can guaran-damn-tee that Ms. Jirak, my high school senior-year Composition teacher would have had a field day marking up my submission with a sentence as ambiguous as that.

"...the Green New Deal, which Democrats mislabeled as the Inflation Reduction Act."

The Democrats did not mislabel it - they flat-out lied.

Matt Dole is clearly an idiot. Trump has no coalition in Washington, DC - at best, he has the support of a handful of Representatives, and maybe two or three Senators. Trumps REAL coalition is the millions of voters that the Political Class loves to mock, ridicule, and ignore, if it can. Trump has no need of, or use for "Republicans" in Washington, DC., but Dole has no idea there is an entire nation west of Falls Church, so what is to be expected, really?

The cat must have been tired, yesterday, because the poll question is far too easy. It's Raytheon.
