This was very eye-opening re: doctors who are supposed to first, do no harm. They also are trained in at least the basics of epidemiology, viral and bacterial diseases, transmission, etc. But for so many of them, including most of mine over the last several years, whatever we heard bleated on msm and on their so-called "social media," they went with. And it was not just the ones affiliated with a hospital, and having to follow the hospital's misguided and unscientific rules. My sole practitioners with their own office still almost exclusively adhered to the alarmists' demands. One of my doctors still has his "masks required/recommended" sign on the door; currently switched to "recommended." And he's the only one I bothered debating about the uselessness of a paper mask against virii, and his quick bottom line was, "In this practice, we wear a mask!"
My wife's doctors wouldn't talk about the possibility of the vaccine's causing her irreparable harm. She has chronic fatigue so they recommended exercise? Her rheumatologist had twins in 2020 and had them take the Covid vaccine? Think about that. I often wonder if she lays awake at night thinking about what she did??

I had my X account permanently suspended again Monday. So as I've done a handful of times, I started a new account. Suspended this morning. Never any indication of what, if anything, I did "wrong". Just placed in permanent timeout. I appeal, they deny it without providing any information. Hardly seems worth the trouble anymore.

I recently had to make a trip to the emergency room. I couldn't believe they still required masks - the security guard handed them to folks on entry. Ridiculous!
Did they insist you wear it, or did they just hand it to you and encourage wearing it? I ran into that a couple of times in stores after the state mask mandate was lifted.
If it was the former, you should have just handed it back. The peer pressure needs to be resisted.
The guard said the mask was required - unlike my primary care offices, which have signs that read that masks are recommended - but not required. Whenever I make an appt online, they always show a reminder about the masks & that we should respect peoples choices. I just inwardly laugh when I see folks still wearing those useless face diapers.

I was never tossed, but when I was in hospital during that time for some back surgery, I was asked whether I had been "vaccinated." Since my answer was "no," I was told that I would be "allowed" to go without a mask in my room, but I would have to wear one if I left the room. I was also mildly hassled by some of the nurses as to "why I hadn't been 'vaccinated.'"
I didn't significantly respond to any of these affronts. I was just there to get cut and get out of there as soon as possible.

I had consulted a urologist who seemed to be stuck in just one mode: relying on a PSA number, followed by a prostate biopsy, which then - if cancer cells were found - would be followed by a prostatectomy. But I had done some research, and had found that a lot of other urologists strongly advised against biopsies, because IF cancer cells were present -- which nobody can know ahead of time --, the many hollow-needle-pokes might bring them up so they'd spread throughout your body. And that will be the end of you, and a miserable end at that, but the doctor can say: "I did all I could!". In contrast, "Leave it alone!" was what all these other doctors said, because that way you may die WITH those cancer cells, but not FROM them. Besides, I had found that in recent years 10 or 12 alternative procedures have been developed to deal with the near-universal prostate problem in men, but most WITHOUT any serious cutting.
So at his office I dropped off a letter with the results of my research, explaining WHY I
wanted no part of a biopsy. Didn't hear back, but I was scheduled for an office visit soon, so I figured we'd discuss it then. Silly me, upon my arrival I was brought to an empty room, and soon the doctor barged in, curtly announcing that I MUST submit myself to a biopsy, or he was done with me. I asked if he had read my documentation, but he said he was too busy to read stuff. How the hell does somebody graduate from medical school without reading? Just wondering.
In any case, following this display of ignorant rudeness I, the fired, recalcitrant patient, arranged elsewhere for a P.A.E., which stands for Prostate Artery Embolization. The essence of it is that a vascular doctor makes a very small incision to gain access to a blood vessel that runs to the prostate. Through a small plastic line he then feeds a kind of substance that will block most of that artery before it enters the prostate. Result: due to the reduced blood flow the prostate starts shrinking, which in turn widens the urethra to what it should be, and normal urine flow is restored. For about a week after the procedure I felt pretty uncomfortable, but then improvement set in, and today, half a year later, things are as normal as they used to be, now quite some years ago.

What I've realized about medical science and about the medical profession is that they can be really bad as well as really good -- as is the case with human history in general, it's easy to cite examples of both. So it pays to be careful, and not rush into things just because some self-appointed "authority" is for it. Do your homework.
Maybe it’s because I live in a Red State, but my GP never even mentioned the words “covid vaccine” to me. It might also be because I already had a history with her of rejecting the annual flu shot, the pneumonia vaccines and the shingles vaccine.

Be careful, there are far more good people than bad. We have come to see folks on tv and other celebrities as some sort of expert or wise about an issue. They aren’t. They are working. Said this before here but worth repeating I think. I travel all over the country each year to explore and visit family. I didn’t stop during the lockdown. I quickly saw that the lockdown was far more effective on the east coast where I live but as I traveled west it quickly lost its enthusiasm in the Midwest and western states. They just kept on working. The lesson I learned from it was that if you live in a heavily populated area you were far more likely to be forced or I guess agree to play the game. I got covid before the pandemic and had it for three days, never got it again during the COVID years but got the watered down version a couple times afterward. It was all a scam of huge proportion and a lot of people got ultra wealthy off it. Never go all-in believing what your government tells you..
Everybody seems to be always in a hurry and are running late for everything. They have to always drive right on my tail despite my going at least 0-5 mph over the speed limit. Once they go by you, then they speed right up to be on the tail of the next car. I really don't like being tailgated and there is nothing you can do about it that makes the situation any better.
I'm obviously prejudiced, but it seems to me that as you go farther north along the east coast, drivers get crazier and crazier. Fortunately, by the time you get to Maine where the drivers are completely mindless and berserk, there are a lot fewer of them so they're spaced out.

He can be imprisoned, but not for a federal crime. But if a state convicts him of a state crime that carries prison time, yes, he can go to jail. My guess is seeing that he’s 85 years old, they will seek to bankrupt him instead.
If Fauci doesn’t end up going to jail for the rest of his life, the next best thing might be for him to spend it going from court to court fighting cases brought by the states and civil courts. He won’t be able to hide behind his Autopen pardon then.
I’m normally quite logical and avoid emotional responses in my comments, but that is not something I can do today. I lost my daughter during Covid along with many others who had to bear the pain of grief. It didn’t have to happen. I can accept that “public servants” make mistakes. They’re also human. It’s become obvious this was so much more than that. The story’s looking more and more like this was a failure on a professional level and an ego trip to cover it up. He doesn’t need to go to prison. A classmate's wife died in the hospital. Their son works for Pfizer. I asked him what his son was telling him. Son denied that the shots had anything to do with her death. Over a couple of beers I'm going to gently ask him what he thinks of Fauci and the Covid coverup.
On Tuesday I related my family's dreadful experience with the sanctified COVID vaccine. For those who missed it, I repeat it below -- with apologies to Don for what may be excessive use of space:
"In October 2024 my second son, David, normally a healthy, sports-loving, not-overweight boy, suddenly turned deadly ill. His older brother Dan and I rushed to the hospital where he was, several hours away, and it was absolutely pathetic: his belly was inflated as if he was about to give birth, he had plastic lines in and out various places, and he could barely speak. The doctors explained that he had developed a clot in a blood vessel that runs from the liver to the small intestine, which had started dying as a result; and we were given a choice of "making him comfortable and watching him die in 2 or 3 days", or having the affected intestine removed. What would ANY parent do in such a case? Endorse the Death Penalty? So he was operated which, considering everything, went well, I'm very grateful to the surgeons, and I have made annual donations to the hospital. But it meant that he had to live with only half his small intestine, so from then on he would need artificial feeding through a tube that was installed in his chest, which pretty much made it impossible for him to continue working. Fortunately it has proved possible for the artificial feeding to diminish in stages, and recently the tube has been removed, he is able to work part-time, but his digestion is still far from normal, and he has aged so terribly, I have trouble looking at him. I am convinced -- though of course I cannot prove it -- that none of this would have happened without the Covid atrocity perpetrated by that malevolent, power-hungry dwarf Fauci, because it is well known that blood clots have been associated with the vaccines. But what can anyone do about that, since Fauci also saw to it that the drug companies were exempt from legal actions?

Yes. During the lockdown I needed to have my back fused. It was done at Georgetown Hospital. My wife dropped me off at door but could not visit. I walked inside and the hospital, a teaching hospital, was packed with students walking everywhere! I asked a doctor why, if the lockdown was so important, that they didn’t suspend classes until over. He looked at me and said with some candor, “I guess because the doctors need a paycheck”.

Yeah, but the real problem is us. Why do we have government at any level, and what is it for? What is its purpose? I'm not being trite. We have come to see government as our rulers and look to them to respond to every problem that arises. For some reason we want to blind ourselves to the fact that most of the problems are actually caused by the government. Look at the freaking "affordability" issue and government pretending to be the cavalry riding to the rescue when it is they who caused the entire problem by criminally devaluing our currency due to their greed. They should only be administrators and nothing more than that.
There can be no doubt that the "affordability" issue is almost entirely of the government's making -- the accumulated interference of governments at all levels. I'm talking about the cost of housing, which is beyond doubt the key factor impeding family formation and having children. In short, back the early 1970s when I bought my first house it was plain cheap, and today it's ridiculously expensive. No wonder that in my town as elsewhere, there's a glut of newly--built apartment blocks. But those are not cheap either, as suggested by the numerous signs announcing "vacancy!" and "special deals!"
It is the same here Wim. I bought my first home in 1964. It cost less than a twenty year old second hand car today. That’s inflation for you. It was a simple 1000 sq ft three bedroom, single bathroom house on a bare section. No floor coverings, curtains or blinds. No paths, fences or even a clothesline. A very simple starter home. By the time I sold it eight years later it had all those and a double garage, workshop, vege garden, a fourth bedroom, and a covered deck with a barbecue, all built by me. I learned so many useful skills over those years that have served me well.
Every young husband and wife starting a family should have that opportunity.

The house I bought in 1973 cost 10,500, had about 1,500 rather neglected square feet, but the monthly payments were easy because I made more in a year than the price of that house. But it dated from 1907, so I worked on it for several years, with occasional hired help like digging out a basement (it was on a hillside), installing a new electric panel, a second bathroom, wiring, a deck ... and then, about 10 years later, I realized I now had more money than time, the opposite of the earlier conditions, so we contracted to have a thorough upgrade and expansion done, including a 2-car carport. When we sold the place 3 years ago it went for about 430K, but that number was meaningless because we spent all of that on a somewhat smaller house in the town that we wanted to move to, which has worked out very well.
But just because we did OK doesn't erase today's affordability crisis. Google tells me that a 400K mortgage, depending on length and interest rates, would require monthly payments between 2,500 and $3,500, although those calculations don't include property taxes, which could easily add another 400 or 500 a month. Only a minority of young families today can manage that; and it's criminal what all kinds of government mischief has accomplished: restrictive zoning, all kinds of "energy" mandates and other pie-in-the-sky regulations, plus the utterly irresponsible open-borders policy that imported 10 or 12 million people who needed roofs over their heads too ...

I don’t agree totally. Not everyone is involved. The problem is, there are so many really pressing and critical problems facing the country that it’s overwhelming to most politicians. Our problem as a society is that we don’t demand Congress accomplish something of value and figure out a way to operate more timely. It can be seen in our national debt and elsewhere. No one wants to be the guy to sound the alarm about the debt that will soon devour us. So they cherry pick the little stuff that’s easier and kick the can down the road for the next guy to solve. It’s why nothing gets done. Both parties are frozen in fear and so they create other things to pretend they are too busy and are getting things done. It’s our biggest problem really. We need a DOGE to figure out how to streamline Congress. It will never happen.

This was very eye-opening re: doctors who are supposed to first, do no harm. They also are trained in at least the basics of epidemiology, viral and bacterial diseases, transmission, etc. But for so many of them, including most of mine over the last several years, whatever we heard bleated on msm and on their so-called "social media," they went with. And it was not just the ones affiliated with a hospital, and having to follow the hospital's misguided and unscientific rules. My sole practitioners with their own office still almost exclusively adhered to the alarmists' demands. One of my doctors still has his "masks required/recommended" sign on the door; currently switched to "recommended." And he's the only one I bothered debating about the uselessness of a paper mask against virii, and his quick bottom line was, "In this practice, we wear a mask!"
My wife's doctors wouldn't talk about the possibility of the vaccine's causing her irreparable harm. She has chronic fatigue so they recommended exercise? Her rheumatologist had twins in 2020 and had them take the Covid vaccine? Think about that. I often wonder if she lays awake at night thinking about what she did??

I was never tossed, but when I was in hospital during that time for some back surgery, I was asked whether I had been "vaccinated." Since my answer was "no," I was told that I would be "allowed" to go without a mask in my room, but I would have to wear one if I left the room. I was also mildly hassled by some of the nurses as to "why I hadn't been 'vaccinated.'"
I didn't significantly respond to any of these affronts. I was just there to get cut and get out of there as soon as possible.
That was the only place I was asked about my "vax" status, except for my PCP idly asking me just to make a note in my record. But she was still one of the docs who required a mask in her office even after the state mandate was lifted.

My doctor said she sent in a prescription for Ivermectin for a patient and the pharmacist refused to fill it. She called him and threatened to pursue getting his license revoked for not filling a legal prescription. He filled it. Red state city makes a difference,

It's not that he can't - he won't.
I had consulted a urologist who seemed to be stuck in just one mode: relying on a PSA number, followed by a prostate biopsy, which then - if cancer cells were found - would be followed by a prostatectomy. But I had done some research, and had found that a lot of other urologists strongly advised against biopsies, because IF cancer cells were present -- which nobody can know ahead of time --, the many hollow-needle-pokes might bring them up so they'd spread throughout your body. And that will be the end of you, and a miserable end at that, but the doctor can say: "I did all I could!". In contrast, "Leave it alone!" was what all these other doctors said, because that way you may die WITH those cancer cells, but not FROM them. Besides, I had found that in recent years 10 or 12 alternative procedures have been developed to deal with the near-universal prostate problem in men, but most WITHOUT any serious cutting.
So at his office I dropped off a letter with the results of my research, explaining WHY I
wanted no part of a biopsy. Didn't hear back, but I was scheduled for an office visit soon, so I figured we'd discuss it then. Silly me, upon my arrival I was brought to an empty room, and soon the doctor barged in, curtly announcing that I MUST submit myself to a biopsy, or he was done with me. I asked if he had read my documentation, but he said he was too busy to read stuff. How the hell does somebody graduate from medical school without reading? Just wondering.
In any case, following this display of ignorant rudeness I, the fired, recalcitrant patient, arranged elsewhere for a P.A.E., which stands for Prostate Artery Embolization. The essence of it is that a vascular doctor makes a very small incision to gain access to a blood vessel that runs to the prostate. Through a small plastic line he then feeds a kind of substance that will block most of that artery before it enters the prostate. Result: due to the reduced blood flow the prostate starts shrinking, which in turn widens the urethra to what it should be, and normal urine flow is restored. For about a week after the procedure I felt pretty uncomfortable, but then improvement set in, and today, half a year later, things are as normal as they used to be, now quite some years ago.
I hope this somewhat lengthy story will be of help to other guys facing this dilemma. Do your homework: the info is all there, much of it on YouTube. And remember that
besides great achievements, the history of medicine also includes gross errors and massive victimizations, starting all the way back to George Washington, who was killed by his doctor's "standard of care" that amounted to draining away most of his blood.

What I've realized about medical science and about the medical profession is that they can be really bad as well as really good -- as is the case with human history in general, it's easy to cite examples of both. So it pays to be careful, and not rush into things just because some self-appointed "authority" is for it. Do your homework.

Said this before here but worth repeating I think. I travel all over the country each year to explore and visit family. I didn’t stop during the lockdown. I quickly saw that the lockdown was far more effective on the east coast where I live but as I traveled west it quickly lost its enthusiasm in the Midwest and western states. They just kept on working. The lesson I learned from it was that if you live in a heavily populated area you were far more likely to be forced or I guess agree to play the game. I got covid before the pandemic and had it for three days, never got it again during the COVID years but got the watered down version a couple times afterward. It was all a scam of huge proportion and a lot of people got ultra wealthy off it. Never go all-in believing what your government tells you..

My incidents have been on highway interchanges/entrances/exits.
They seem to have a new trick of rushing up on either my right or left and trying to cut me off!

I’m normally quite logical and avoid emotional responses in my comments, but that is not something I can do today. I lost my daughter during Covid along with many others who had to bear the pain of grief. It didn’t have to happen. I can accept that “public servants” make mistakes. They’re also human. It’s become obvious this was so much more than that. The story’s looking more and more like this was a failure on a professional level and an ego trip to cover it up. He doesn’t need to go to prison. He needs to become a test subject at the Wuhan lab for the rest of his life and may it take a long time.

A classmate's wife died in the hospital. Their son works for Pfizer. I asked him what his son was telling him. Son denied that the shots had anything to do with her death. Over a couple of beers I'm going to gently ask him what he thinks of Fauci and the Covid coverup.
On Tuesday I related my family's dreadful experience with the sanctified COVID vaccine. For those who missed it, I repeat it below -- with apologies to Don for what may be excessive use of space:
"In October 2024 my second son, David, normally a healthy, sports-loving, not-overweight boy, suddenly turned deadly ill. His older brother Dan and I rushed to the hospital where he was, several hours away, and it was absolutely pathetic: his belly was inflated as if he was about to give birth, he had plastic lines in and out various places, and he could barely speak. The doctors explained that he had developed a clot in a blood vessel that runs from the liver to the small intestine, which had started dying as a result; and we were given a choice of "making him comfortable and watching him die in 2 or 3 days", or having the affected intestine removed. What would ANY parent do in such a case? Endorse the Death Penalty? So he was operated which, considering everything, went well, I'm very grateful to the surgeons, and I have made annual donations to the hospital. But it meant that he had to live with only half his small intestine, so from then on he would need artificial feeding through a tube that was installed in his chest, which pretty much made it impossible for him to continue working. Fortunately it has proved possible for the artificial feeding to diminish in stages, and recently the tube has been removed, he is able to work part-time, but his digestion is still far from normal, and he has aged so terribly, I have trouble looking at him. I am convinced -- though of course I cannot prove it -- that none of this would have happened without the Covid atrocity perpetrated by that malevolent, power-hungry dwarf Fauci, because it is well known that blood clots have been associated with the vaccines. But what can anyone do about that, since Fauci also saw to it that the drug companies were exempt from legal actions?

That may have been the very worst outcome, making seniors die alone. Yes, I understand no one deserves to die alone. But seniors, left in assisted living to begin with and then cordoned off was indecent cruelty to them--and their families.
Yes. During the lockdown I needed to have my back fused. It was done at Georgetown Hospital. My wife dropped me off at door but could not visit. I walked inside and the hospital, a teaching hospital, was packed with students walking everywhere! I asked a doctor why, if the lockdown was so important, that they didn’t suspend classes until over. He looked at me and said with some candor, “I guess because the doctors need a paycheck”.

We have come to see government as our rulers and look to them to respond to every problem that arises. There can be no doubt that the "affordability" issue is almost entirely of the government's making -- the accumulated interference of governments at all levels. I'm talking about the cost of housing, which is beyond doubt the key factor impeding family formation and having children. In short, back the early 1970s when I bought my first house it was plain cheap, and today it's ridiculously expensive. No wonder that in my town as elsewhere, there's a glut of newly--built apartment blocks. But those are not cheap either, as suggested by the numerous signs announcing "vacancy!" and "special deals!"
It is the same here Wim. I bought my first home in 1964. It cost less than a twenty year old second hand car today. That’s inflation for you. It was a simple 1000 sq ft three bedroom, single bathroom house on a bare section. No floor coverings, curtains or blinds. No paths, fences or even a clothesline. A very simple starter home. By the time I sold it eight years later it had all those and a double garage, workshop, vege garden, a fourth bedroom, and a covered deck with a barbecue, all built by me. I learned so many useful skills over those years that have served me well.
Every young husband and wife starting a family should have that opportunity.

The house I bought in 1973 cost 10,500, had about 1,500 rather neglected square feet, but the monthly payments were easy because I made more in a year than the price of that house. But it dated from 1907, so I worked on it for several years, with occasional hired help like digging out a basement (it was on a hillside), installing a new electric panel, a second bathroom, wiring, a deck ... and then, about 10 years later, I realized I now had more money than time, the opposite of the earlier conditions, so we contracted to have a thorough upgrade and expansion done, including a 2-car carport. When we sold the place 3 years ago it went for about 430K, but that number was meaningless because we spent all of that on a somewhat smaller house in the town that we wanted to move to, which has worked out very well.
But just because we did OK doesn't erase today's affordability crisis. Google tells me that a 400K mortgage, depending on length and interest rates, would require monthly payments between 2,500 and $3,500, although those calculations don't include property taxes, which could easily add another 400 or 500 a month. Only a minority of young families today can manage that; and it's criminal what all kinds of government mischief has accomplished: restrictive zoning, all kinds of "energy" mandates and other pie-in-the-sky regulations, plus the utterly irresponsible open-borders policy that imported 10 or 12 million people who needed roofs over their heads too ...
one thing left out of the above calculation. there are very few youngun's around today who would take a 2-3 bedroom, 1 bath house with no garage if you gave it to them. 4 bd, 2.5 bath, 2 car garage, hot wired for every conceivable electronic apparatus would be considered baseline. What's a hammer?

I don’t agree totally. Not everyone is involved. The problem is, there are so many really pressing and critical problems facing the country that it’s overwhelming to most politicians. Our problem as a society is that we don’t demand Congress accomplish something of value and figure out a way to operate more timely. It can be seen in our national debt and elsewhere. No one wants to be the guy to sound the alarm about the debt that will soon devour us. So they cherry pick the little stuff that’s easier and kick the can down the road for the next guy to solve. It’s why nothing gets done. Both parties are frozen in fear and so they create other things to pretend they are too busy and are getting things done. It’s our biggest problem really. We need a DOGE to figure out how to streamline Congress. It will never happen.

I imagine Fauci’s lawyers had to drill into him that he could not, under any circumstances, answer one single question, no matter how mundane or irrelevant it may have seemed, or he would be toast.
