Look, I will reiterate this. It is true that gender has a psychological and social component, but it is based on sex, which is entirely biological. As much as I feel for those with gender dysphoria (and there are a few, though not nearly as many as try to take on the label), society alone has the right to decide how closely to tie gender to sex, not individuals, society. And society has not just a right but an obligation to balance the desires of large numbers of primarily men to cosmetically alter themselves to be women and enter women's spaces against the needs of women to feel safe in their own spaces and the needs of children to be protected from trends and predatory practices in the medical field.

The amount of money paid to hospitals, and the surgeons involved is obscene compared to the pittance that is paid for healthcare to those that are actually doing real work on people who need real care.
