The deep state is hell bent on Trump getting to know what Custer felt like. Every probe into three letter federal departments verifies that fact. If the lies spewed during congressional testimony aren't convincing enough, you must be deaf, and dumb, and blind. For the sake our country, may God Save Trump!

God heard you. He resurrected Pat Boone, the Conservative's conservative-gave him a song that if Trump plays at every campaign stop, he wins bigly in November. Be nice if he could get Pat to show up.

He had over 25 singles reach the top 20 on the U.S. singles charts, including the number-one hits "Ain't That a Shame" (1955), "I Almost Lost My Mind" (1956), "Don't Forbid Me" (1957), "Love Letters in the Sand" (1957), "April Love" (1957), and "Moody River" (1961). "I'll Be Home" (1956) reached No. 1 in the UK. https://youtu.be/z-bG_NK5C_E

One line in that song bothers me: “Cause we can’t find the way to agree.” Reminds me of people who “just wish everyone would get along” and don’t understand that we are fighting people who don’t care about the Constitution, much less God, and will do any lawless, deceptive thing to hold on to power.

People have to understand that it is necessary to stand up, speak out, and take action because our Constitution and our American way of life is being attacked by Marxists.

But I love the line about the old family Bible still holds our survival. If Christians would study God’s whole Word and actually live by it, we might have a chance.

Thank you for that. He doesn't quite sound like he used to, but that should not be surprising at age 90. Nevertheless, if I had not known it was Pat Boone I would not have recognized his voice.

My feeling is, Gail may have a point about the song sounding sad, but still it has potential for Trump's campaign -- if sung by a younger artist with current popular appeal, maybe a country-western singer with a pleasant voice. Who that would be I could not say, because I have not kept up on the music scene.

Mark Felt was driven by a revenge motive that cannot be overstated. Every time I see J. Edgar Hoover's name, a huge neon sign lights up in my mind. BLACKMAILER ALERT. Hoover's power was unimaginable and is unappreciated to this day by the average American. He politically weaponized and used the FBI to create files on everyone. Every politician. Every Civil Rights activist. Every person with potential to harm him. Every person who knew or might suspect his sexual preferences. He was feared by everyone in Washington, Even the Presidents feared him. Those files made him immune from interference and allowed him to direct the deep state and influence domestic and foreign policy. Now imagine yourself as the first born son of the king. Imagine being denied your rightful ascension to the throne by a mere government official. Nixon was that inconvenient official who denied you the throne. Do you feel the sting, dear Prince? The Prince took his revenge while hiding in the shadows like the all of the deep state cowards running Washington today.

This other federal body refused her requests for Phoenix Personnel. Tic-for-tat, then, the other side had a former head of this Federal body disappeared, with a warm breakfast found on his table, and he found later, elsewhere, somewhat cooler, at room temperature. Mexican Stand-off. Meanwhile, the deep state resumed their serial "Kwick-Kwak' that remains with our world today. Great post, Don.

Woodward was Naval Intelligence, not a journalist. The majority of Watergate 'burglers' were CIA. Duly elected Agnew was pushed out and Ford was installed; kinda like what is happening today. Democracy. Not.

JFK tried to do his job and manage the CIA and got Epsteined. Epstein was CIA. RFK tried to hold government accountable and got Epsteined.

Trump fired Deep State Comey and McCabe and the full power of our corrupt government tried to jail or bankrupt him or his friends, and almost Epsteined him.

What is happening to Trump is similar, except that the cover-up villains supporting the coup are those in the lockstep, goose-stepping media. Come to think of it, Watergate was the same. The worse cover-up villains are the media and the Deep State.

Now, luckily, the Dems have overplayed their hand, Trump can afford the legal battle, and we have the internet to get around the media conglomerates, and we have Mr. Surber.

Americans are a decent people, who mostly want to be left alone with their families to pursue their paths in life. Our whole country has been based on giving people the freedom to do this without interference by government. And being decent, we have a hard time grasping that a segment of people are vile, because that level of evil is alien to us. So we are slow to awaken and slow to anger.

We will soon be finding out if once awakened we are fearsome to deal with. Although it's tempting to be pessimistic because of how slow people (including us) have been to awaken, and how peacefully we have so far approached correcting this, I think we may be surprised at how powerful and effective we are in finally putting down this contamination of America.

The professional soreheads have never been able to instill communism in this nation because doing it depends on creating chaos, and until now people have been generally happy and the system stable.

That is changing. Hussein Obama, equally as white as black, spent his entire presidency stoking racial hatred, brilliantly lumping non-white together in one undefined mass as the "oppressed" and baffled white folks as the universal "oppressors."

I have vehemently resisted predictions of civil war, but I'm not sure now that those people were wrong. An old friend - as in 85 years old - says that whoever shoots first, loses. The communists, radical progressives, and Democrats - but I repeat myself - have undertaken a very successful program to destabilize The Greatest Nation That Ever Was, the centerpiece of which is flooding us with over ten million people who have no love for this country except for what it can provide. We're seeing where that leads in Britain, where bloody riots between the native-born and the illegals have reached a boiling point. I believe that we are not far behind, but the real villains are not the illegal aliens and their families. The enemy is, as always, the politicians who couldn't care a whit about human life and engineered the whole thing to gain power for themselves.

Keep your powder dry.

The clear thread running through the Watergate era up to the present day is the utter corruption of both the Deep State and their partners in the MSM. Because they have gotten away with it for so long, my guess is that they feel they are invulnerable. Clearly, the lawfare campaign against DJT has been fostered by the Deep State and given huge coverage by the media in order to hamper his re-election bid not the mention the infamous 51 intelligence officials who said the laptop was Russian misinformation. Given all that has been revealed about the Secret Service's performance in Butler PA, it seems plausible that they played a role in the assassination attempt on DJT's life. Remember Chuck Schumer's words about the Deep State and how they have "six ways to Sunday of getting back at you".

And especially how it works against them and for the donor class. Congressman John Breaux of Louisiana was purported to say, "My vote cannot be bought, but it can be rented." “Russiagate” was very much “Watergate” Redux, just dressed up in a different package, with the exception that Russiagate was patently bogus from the get go. It was helpful though, to those who cared to pay attention, to exposing a near whole of our own US federal government effort to unseat the duly elected President.

The Watergate episode, however, at least was based upon an actual crime. To this day I still have so many unanswered questions about it, either because they’ve never been answered or I am simply ignorant of them. One of those questions is, what was the point of the break-in to begin with? I’ve heard many answers but they all seem to fall flat to one degree or another. I’ve always felt the whole idea of the break-in itself was a set-up. I confess to being woefully ignorant of much surrounding the whole affair, although I listened to the Hearings everyday back then. But, while so much of what was actually happening went way over my head at the time, I’ve never gotten over the distinct feeling that the actual truth never made it to the light of day, right up to this day.
