“Live free or die. Death is not the greatest of evils.”

I lived behind the Iron Curtain for a few years in the early 80’s and have witnessed firsthand what the left has in store for us. It’s worse than you can imagine. Stark nailed it.

On a trip to Germany a number of years back a friend introduced a young couple who had lived for years in East Germany in Berlin before the wall came down. I've read Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn's "The Gulag Archipelago" - I found it to be hair-raising. I also read his novels, "A Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich", "Cancer Ward", and "First Circle". I suggest you look up Vasily Grossman. He was a reporter who survived Stalin and wrote two incredible books: Life and Fate and Stalingrad. "... genius Kevin D. Williamson — who blew off Donald Trump in 2016 ... — wrote a column in the New York Post giving Joe Biden election advice."

Each morning, I go right to the Post's Sports section --- seldom if ever reading any of the rest of it.

In the past ten years, the Post has died. Before it died, it murdered its once-famous sense of humor. In its place is The Unreadable, the twin sister of the zombie editions of the Simpsons and Saturday Night Live (death respects no ideology).

Its prose is listless, lifeless, verbose sludge. As Bob Dole would say, they couldn't sell beer on a troopship.

It is my pleasure to pass the word along that Nov. 2-8, 2024, Mr Williamson is going to be a very, VERY unhappy camper.

Don, I have a theory. I have theories on everything.

When I was in high school, a friend's dad decided to install a massive coil spring on his pickup truck's front suspension. The only problem was that he didn't have a proper spring compressor, so he commandeered about a dozen coathangers from his wife's closet and began twisting short pieces between each coil, slowly compressing this huge spring.

Just as he thought it was ready to install, all the coathangers broke at once, the stored energy flinging each fragment at high speed into every corner of the room. How we all kept our eyeballs I don't know.

Today America is that coil spring. The Normals are well and truly fed up with the Woke mob, the child genital-mutilators, the SJWs, the Biden-weaponized Deep State and its subservient judiciary, the Globalists, the Greenies, Soros' BLM rioters, and the Deplorable-haters. When you squeeze people more and more, eventually they too will react, and like that spring, fling pieces of their oppressors in every direction. We are just about there.

Someone sent me a great Trump ad early this morning. Interestingly, it's not from the Trump campaign; the speaker is just a supporter.

People who want to recover some of their freedom and live without fear have GOT to Come To Jesus and realize that this is a fight for all the marbles. As we all lie on the ground, that shiny jackboot hovers one inch above our necks and we need to understand That It Is That Serious.

I don't fear the globalists, the corrupt Democrats and their Deep State machine, or the elite who want to rule us all. Smack them across the nose and they'll run, just like all fascists. Trump has made a specialty of showing up Biden by doing things as ex-Prez that FJB sould be doing as POTUS- going to the border, to cop funerals killed by valedictorians, to East Palestine O-H-I-O.

He should take a couple of his new found millions and pay for the protection of Kennedy. And to structure it so it can only be used for that, lest he be accused of doing it for self-serving political purposes.

As for waking up to freedom and personal integrity being more valuable than life itself, I highly recommended Natan Sharansky’s Fear No Evil. The way he tells of the KGB’s tactics to destroy those that dare desire to live free, tells you all you need to know about today’s FBI.

But more importantly he tells what you are left with when you are refined by fire, and how the greatest thing you can do for your loved ones can be done, even behind bars.

O Lord- be with those wrongfully imprisoned, and give them strength and truth. Amen

For a bonus, read it alongside Orwell’s 1984.

That is a brilliant idea for Trump to help pay for Kennedy’s protection. Altho Kennedy may(?) have sufficient funds to cover his own. And frankly, I’m not really sure where the Secret Service’s loyalties lie these days, or which is more reliable, private security or Secret Service.

It wasn’t Fetterman’s brain injury that kept him crazy - he recovered his sanity when he ditched his screwy leftist wife….white liberal women are doing more damage to the American way of life than any other group - their political ‘hysteria’ (a word derived from the Greek word for ‘uterus’!!) is alarming.

Well, but there’s an awful lot of white liberal men right in there with them, such as are in our Congress, doing a heck of alot of damage.

Totally agree - but women are the hysterical ones in the Democrat show…why is it that 20 to 30 of young females today think they are anything but straight females when historically only 5% were found to be gay and 0.5% were trans? Understandably, there are a number of factors one of which was Covid - but the ideology on the left side of the aisle has a lot to account for the wackiness of today’s youth. Personally, my friends who lean left have all sorts of issues with their kids- mental (anorexia, depression, anxiety etc), unmarried, no children (don’t want them), can’t get a grip on life, need lots of ‘me- time’ whereas my right-leaning friends’ kids, not so much. I don’t know why there’s a difference but there is.

Another observation - I was a greeter at our presidential primary that was held last week. Most Republican voters were male with a handful of women - they largely came in as individuals. Most Democrat men came in accompanied by a woman; they were also more groomed, ie the Republican men were blue collar and voted early to get to work. One of the Republican men told me his wife was Democrat as were his friends’ wives (he rolled his eyes, smiled and winked). He said his wife watches MSNBC and CNN constantly. He also said he and his friends meet up at the shooting range to get away from the wives and their ‘kooky thoughts’ - they make jokes and blow off steam.

In politics, it is the least independent and the most mindless place to be. It does not represent moderation, as many claim - it represents abdication of the ability to embrace free thinking.

To boast that one stands in the middle, is to reveal that one lacks the capacity and/or the courage to think for oneself.

Ergo: the proverbial yellow stripe. And where the road is challenging, double(!) yellow stripes.
