I haven’t looked at his site in years. I’m sure the evil Obama (oxymoron) probably blackmailed him. In any event CFP is my go to site (Kane is brilliant and links to Surber often).
I think you're right about BHO. Between Obama and the Clintons, not sure who would have wanted him neutered more.
Drudge ruined Bill with the Lewinsky story, was a threat to Hillary's winning in 2016, and Obama wanted his third term with Hillary in the seat. I'm just surprised Drudge was allowed to live.
Maybe. But I have never been sure of the relationship between Obama and the Clintons. I always saw it as one of mutual benefit more than a shared ideology or friendship. The two parties are different in how they presided over the government. The Clintons seem to be more the typical thugs and crooks who believe they are entitled, and Obama seems to be the devious and sinister one who says one thing and does far different. He is more dangerous than the Clintons in that regard. He has no allegiance to America I can see.
Bill Clinton is intelligent – a Rhodes scholar – and, by all accounts, exceedingly charming and charismatic. But also self-serving – a bona fide sociopath. Such people regularly rise to the top of their chosen field. Obama, on the other hand, is manifestly talentless and lacks any real accomplishments. Even his books were ghost written by Bill Ayers. He’s the canonical example of a fence post turtle. That means that someone else groomed and promoted him. He’s not stupid, and he exhibits massive confidence. And why shouldn’t he? The scam worked like magic, and people hung on his every word, adored him, and believed he was The One. He could do no wrong, and everything he touched turned into gold, almost literally as far as he was concerned.
But does he really have a grasp of political realities, or is he just faking it as long as others believe in him? I really couldn’t say, but I would be astonished if he had the breadth and depth of understanding, or even the devious, conniving cleverness of a Ron Klain or Marc Elias.
Mr. Obama was merely the salesman. I have no idea why he is so Marxist in his ideology but he is and he attracts the people who believe it is easier to tell people what is best for them and control them rather than actually fix anything. This is the root of raw power for power's sake. I suspect it is how the monarchy's developed in Europe and elsewhere so long ago. In any case I guess it doesn't really matter how people like Obama evolve so long as we recognize the evil and stop it when we see it.
He is a Marxist because his father was a committed Marxist. He wrote a paper declaring that a 100% income tax would be fair if the state provided goods and services of equivalent value to those whose money was stolen by the state.
A lot of these intellectual mediocrities have a certain cunning. You don't have to be a genius to be a predator. You just have to know how to hunt. A human may be much smarter than a tiger, but a tiger can still kill you. I think Obama is intelligent in terms of pulling the levers of power and is ruthless. He's carrying out bad policy objectives for bad people, and thus far he's been effective at getting a lot of what they want. That doesn't mean I admire him. I don't. I think he's a horror show. But you have to understand what you're up against and it does no good to underestimate your opponent.
IMHO, someone somewhere decided we need a black president, and as Biden once said, this one was clean and articulate. Therefore, we got one. Didn't take long for the bloom to fall off that rose.
Sometimes there just seems to be no other explanation. And would explain some of these swamp creatures actions. John Roberts, Pence, McCarthy, McConnell, Graham, Romney, Barr, ...ad nauseam.
It’s my personal belief that he was blackmailed in some matter. I know nothing about him and this is all conjecture but people do not make a 180° change in their views for no apparent reason. Clearly it wasn’t politics because in many way, GW Bush and Cheney for the closest to war criminals. in drudges lifetime. Could it be that he was offended that Trump was grabbing some p***y rather than D**k?
Agreed. Have no doubt all of our 'leaders' have been threatened by the deep state in some way. Trump effectively gave them the middle finger(bless him) and look what they have done to him for the better part of a decade.
I will always be grateful to Drudge for one reason - in 1998 a link on his page took me to Lucianne.com, where I still read and post daily. An article posted on Lucianne led me to Don Surber who is now my first stop in the morning with Lucianne.com second. I can’t imagine life without either one of them.
I too am a daily reader of Lucianne but first and foremost if Surber. I check out CFP probably a couple of times a week. I do have other things to do, can't spend all day every day with my nose stuck in the computer!
Silent Night. Only because I believe the WWI story that enemy combatants stopped slaughtering each other for a few minutes to revel in the majesty of Christmas and sing Silent Night in their respective languages. Merry Christmas and tidings of joy and good will toward men. Tomorrow I’m going to shoot you in the face.
I want to take a moment to wish my Poca Pundit and his merry band of followers a most joyous holiday season. May you feel blessed no matter the circumstances. And like Rudolph, shine your light into an increasingly darkening world.
Haven't looked at the site for several years but think your reasoning is sound.I rely on CFP and Whatfinger for breaking stories knowing The Surber post is my in-depth site.Your weekly roundup is worth the sub price alone to read the wit and PUNditry.MAGA Merry Christmas Poca-Man and readers, thank you for OH Holy Night and FJB>
"Did you flip because you were bored, you sold the site, or you feared the FBI?"
My instinctive reaction is: All Three!
I'm not of the mind-set to pass judgement on President Trump or his motives for his administrative picks during his campaign and first administration, because life, in general, and life in politics is never all black or white. Quite the contrary, in politics it is especially complex and counter-intuitive. Politics does not follow Normies life rationale.
What I do know is that the man, Donald Trump was given a gift from God and we have witnessed it since 2015.
Many have called for a 3rd party, a MAGA party, if you will and Donald Trump didn't budge in his endeavor to take over the Republican Party from within with MAGA control.
It's my belief we are witnessing a messy MAGA takeover from within, while exposing the evil from the depths of our governmental institutions, which have evolved for many, many decades via subterfuge and the complicit assent from the congress, administrative state, the media and corporations worldwide. All the while, the deplorables were busy living their lives, working to provide basic needs for themselves and families and pay the taxes to the very government that was hoodwinking each and everyone of us, every single day with lies, lies, lies, and more lies.
And we, for the most part, lapped it all up. We moved along pretending every liddle thing will be alright.
I always marvel at the comment: "Well, there's nothing we can do to change things, so..........." That's been the prevailing attitude, for the most part, that I have witnessed over my lifetime, whenever the topic of government interference and corruption was brought froth to discuss.
As a matter of fact, I was reared to believe that there were 3 topics to NEVER be discussed openly at any gathering of colleagues, friends or relatives:
1) Sex
2) Politics
3) Religion
Other than those three, decent people could discuss Anything!
As an aside: Mike Pence (and people like him) do not change. They are charlatans.
My unsolicited advice: Get over it and move along with your life; better informed.
In business, takeovers are very messy. In politics it is almost impossible. BUT, Donald John Trump has always embraced the "IMPOSSIBLE" and made it his life's mission to achieve the "IMPOSSIBLE". So far, I'm not complaining and intend to stand with him through out this War and savor the moment When, not IF, the Nationalists beat the Globalists forever!
I'm looking forward to tomorrow's poll, Mr. Surber. You have a way of making my day more interesting, as I am forced to ponder those things in life that I have a tendency to push aside for one more day.
Don, you shook things up years ago on Drudge and on Rush's show, but Kane and CFP have far surpassed The Drudge Report for lightening fast reporting of events in the same aggregated style. And, Kane gives you your much deserved regular posting for the world to experience your writings.
I hope Kane never thinks about going the way of Drudge.
Great historical post, Donnie Boy. They did kill JFK, destroyed Nixon on purpose like Trump, and the same establishment was very opposed to Ronaldus. Dubya and Barack Hussein solidified the police state(Patriot Act section 702) and weaponized it against Patriots just like King George.
Lucianne was wonderful and we use her site daily along with Whatfinger.com and Revolver. Ace of Spades is great as well. Too bad her boy Jonah! went south after writing one of the best books written(Liberal Fascism), but hey, like all globalists he cares about income rather than the country that provides the opportunity. His mother provided an example he chose to spit on; I am glad my brother and I honor our single mother who was the toughest person I have ever known.
Not sure what happened to Drudge but suspect the FBI(KGB) getting to him is as good a theory as any. Hard to believe the times we are living in. Our Republic was always an experiment and only worked so long as we respected the legal system and our government worked for its citizens and common order. Both are now badly broken. The last chapter has yet to be written and will follow one of two routes. Either the country demands the rule of law be respected and followed by all, and we rid our government of the corruption, or we go the route of the Romans and so many other countries before us. I'm betting the majority of Americans see what has happened and come together to do the right thing for America.
I pray you are wrong about this. We have overcome tremendous obstacles during our relatively short lifespan as a country and I believe we can overcome this as well. But it needs to start happening now while we still have the tools to do so. Once we have a national collapse it will be too late to fix it peacefully.
Great story Don. I miss the old Drudge Report. That is, when I think about it. Kane at Citizen Free Press has stepped up admirably, and gives a heck of an occasional interview too!
Woven into this (fascinating) Drudge piece is an angle suggesting how uniquely capable good leaders actually are. On one hand we see the extreme that legacy media displays in the protection of the Obama “legacy.” On the other hand, we have the simmering dynamic tension of millions who think they won the last election, enthusiastically demonstrated their first amendment rights attending massive rallies, and a hideously corrupt justice department all in attempting to thwart the will of the people. What a world!
I would not doubt that Soetoro and 5he deep state got to him.
I haven’t been to that site in years. Don’t plan to go any time soon.
I haven’t looked at his site in years. I’m sure the evil Obama (oxymoron) probably blackmailed him. In any event CFP is my go to site (Kane is brilliant and links to Surber often).

The one thing ozero had going for him was teleprompters all around.
You are right about that. He was a bumbling fool without a script.
Mr. Obama was merely the salesman. I have no idea why he is so Marxist in his ideology but he is and he attracts the people who believe it is easier to tell people what is best for them and control them rather than actually fix anything. He and Bernie Sanders must be brothers.

His puppeteer is pure evil.
IMHO, someone somewhere decided we need a black president, and as Biden once said, this one was clean and articulate. Therefore, we got one. Didn't take long for the bloom to fall off that rose.
This invasion at the southern border has 'the lightbringer' and Soros written all over it.
Obamas and the Clintons are addicted to money and stroking. In that, they are partners and competitors.
Spot on about ozero Reddog.
Surprised they let Drudge live?
Killing is messy and done only in extreme cases. Trump and Musk have been moved to files in the special task room.
But guys like Drudge? Just pull the wings off the fly and enjoy your daily dose of cruelty.
If you kill him, you create a martyr...
Thanks. I was being so quiet for a while and then I laughed loudly with your comment about Hillary. Thanks shrugged.
Speaking of Shrillary, I can't figure out how she always gets on a ballot since she is the most disliked woman on the planet.
Exactly. Maybe it is as easy as him being compromised. After all, this seems to be how our government is run today. By blackmail.
That last sentence is probably closer to the truth than any of us realize.
https://rumble.com/v42o0kw-congressman-tim-burchett-reveals-how-politicians-are-blackmailed.html
Standard Practice. Hooverism never left Washington when that scum was scraped out of his desk.
Epstein kept control of the flock for the tiny group.
Thanks. I think that is going on far more than we realize.
Sometimes there just seems to be no other explanation. And would explain some of these swamp creatures actions. John Roberts, Pence, McCarthy, McConnell, Graham, Romney, Barr, ...ad nauseam.
I am sure Roberts is being controlled by threats to his family. There were some shenanigans in the adoption.
Was he friends with Jeffrey Epstein?
That’s another good theory. . .
It’s my personal belief that he was blackmailed in some matter. I know nothing about him and this is all conjecture but people do not make a 180° change in their views for no apparent reason. in febrile delirium the other day - thanks covid! - i caught myself starting to type "dru" in the address bar but caught myself.
The opening illustration with the banner, "Has Matt Drudge Turned On Conservatives?" prompts the question, "Has Fox News Turned On Tucker Carlson?"
Two birds / one stone: "Yes."

I like Lucianne.com but the site has too many paywalls and popups. 1. Surber 2. CFP 3. Gateway Pundit 4. Liberty Daily.
Also the Federalist and American Thinker.

i used to frequent Lucianne.com for many years. i think i quit when i was still working on site and the workplace blocked it. thanks for the reminder!
“O Holy Night” !!!
Woo~hoo!!!
The quintessential Christmas worship Carol, in my humble opinion. 😇
If all the carols sung at Christmas were ornaments on our trees, O Holy Night would be the star adorning the top of the tree. IMHO.
I wholeheartedly agree!
Agreed, Cookie. By the way, can you lend me your comb, Cookie?
77 Sunset Strip?
Yeppers.

thank you....it's perfect
World War I. The Great War, the War to end all wars. Just another Marketing ploy so Old Men can enrich themselves and young men can die.
Tell what did anyone gain? The Old Men died anyway, clutching their trinkets.

I miss Drudge, too. I left when he went anti-Trump.
