The Dove model is the latest in a line of Stacy Abrams-like creatures that are repping products.

Normalizing the abnormal will ultimately destroy the left. Will we have a country left to salvage?

It is a sad commentary that the Left champions obesity, instead of seeing it as an emotional and medical condition. Similarly, they champion sexual perversions. They justify and excuse criminal and violent acts. At the same time the Left and our government criminalize patriotism. These are all efforts to destroy the Judeo-Christian culture of the United States. They are attempting to normalize their own criminal activities at the expense of law abiding citizens. We must unite in our opposition to all these cultural obscenities.

On the positive side, 2500 bibles are bought every hour around the globe! That means we, the people of the earth are searching for and finding God.

Cosmetics were created millennia ago to make people look healthy. Red lips, red fingernails and smooth skin are signs of health. Why would someone adopt blue or black fingernails which are symptoms of illness? Plumpness is a sign of health in a society where food is scarce, obesity is not and never be a sign of health in our times.

Move over, Stacy Abrams; here comes Dove and Zyahna Bryant.

I can only shake my head.

Is there an adult left in the room to say, "That's dumb. Don't be an idiot. STOP that!"?

We'll see...

Great article. If I were going to pick a person to run my company, one I built, I would pick someone with the same knowledge base, work history, and life background and train them on the rest. Over the decades, there has been a big shift in how corporate board members have been picked. No longer do they pick people who started with nothing and built highly successful companies. They were revered as being wise and careful with business decisions. Today, it’s all about youth and getting the brightest person, who likely has never really built anything at all. Corporations today believe they must make split second decisions and embrace new but unproven technologies to stay ahead. Thats arrogant, but easy to do when you are wagering with other peoples money. In the case of people like Bob Iger, where was the board when he was making these arrogant and risky money decision? In all likelihood, they were silent because he had a direct hand in who was selected for the boards. And where were the major stock holders while he was doing arrogant and stupid things? They were silent, because they were his friends. When the system is stacked to create a quasi corporate dictatorship, it’s always the rest of us who suffer. Now, apply this same problem to the federal government and what do you have? People like Pete Butthead and Jennifer Granholm, two of the dumbest and most arrogant people to ever screw up a country. Choices in life matter and like the ancient one said in one of the Indy movies “choose wisely”. Good life advice. In the corporate world as well as the government sector, if you don’t care how much you are spending or where it came from, life for you is very easy.

Bud Light was trying to do two things with Mr. Mulvaney. One, it was trying to become a "gay beer." (More and more Americans are identifying as gay or one of its variants, so it is a growing market.) Two, Mulvaney is an "influencer" with teens, so it was appealing to underage drinkers in hopes of keeping them once they turned 21. Of course, Anheuser-Busch couldn't publicly ADMIT to either one of these marketing strategies; the first would have killed them with their redneck base and the second is illegal. As so often happens, when you are too clever by half, you end up half-clever.

Dove's tag line is "Let's Change Beauty". Seriously?

This is a true Bud Light moment of cluelessness. How many people want to associate with a brand that believes morbidly obese, tatted females with fat jiggling over their belt is beauty? Most heavy people try to hide their fat with loose clothing. These chicks push their bellies out farther than a redneck.

It is true that America is getting fat - just look around the next time you are at the grocery store. Do they think ads like this will make consumers feel better about their "fat" self? This doesn't make me want to associate with the Dove brand.

Just another genius in marketing trying to widen the market base. Because you know it’s all about that Bass.

Just wait till they start yammering about saving water and not bathing.

Then we’ll be in a fine mess.

But when you think about it, even if they lose some customers, the new ones they bring in have 2 to 3 times the surface area, and therefore will use more product.

Super geniuses

When I worked in the corporate world I noticed that big companies would latch unto the latest management trend. It seemed like every year there was a different new initiative being dictated from the head office. IMHO this woke-ism is the same thing and next year will be replaced by some other new idea. Whether it will be more or less silly than woke-ism remains to be seen. Ironic how CEOs who foist these money losing schemes on their companies get a golden parachute when the board decides to get shut of them.
