Liberals sure like dead black men, especially the criminal kind. I am not talking about Ed Buck. You remember him. NPR reported on July 28, 2021, “Democrat Donor Ed Buck Is Convicted In Deaths Of 2 Men He Offered Drugs For Sex.” You cannot judge a party by its psychotic millionaires.
Stay away from big Blue cities. You're a thousand times more likely to encounter violent crime and, should you be forced to defend yourself, a judge or jury will convict you in a matter of seconds if you're the wrong race/ethnicity. The people in those cities deserve to get what they voted for and they deserve to get it hard.
When AOC gives up her protective detail, rides the subways with a friend or two and encounters one of these “unarmed” criminals and still believes this nonsense I’ll stop laughing at her.
Until then she needs to stuff it. Her idiot light is showing brighter than before and it has been glowing for some rime now.

This is what it's all about. The one thing all these Social Justice Warriors, like AOC, forget to mention? New York City and New York State are so blue, purple is crimson to them. If there are problems in that state, it's AOC's party that did it.
And New York City spends upwards of 6 billion (yes, b-billion) every year to subsidize their "hospital and health corporation" (~2.5 billion), a department of "health and mental hygiene" (~2.5 billion), and a department to combat homelessness (800 million and change). NPR once claimed that $6 billion from Elon Musk could save millions from starvation, but $6 billion couldn't even keep Jordan Neely off the street.
I am one of the nicest and kindest people you will ever meet BUT, If I had been on that subway train instead of this young marine, the end result would have been the same. The police refuse to do their jobs, so someone else has to.

Scott Adams needs to be elevated to the level of Saint Scott for not only saying out loud what we all know to be the truth but not wimping out when he took the hit for it.
I wish someone with the bank account of King Midas could re-copyright this Surber phrase: "Houseless has replaced homeless which replaced bum." Then make it into a Movie-of-the-Week then a TV Series, then into textbooks for rising college freshmen who expect to Save The World. Did I fail to add, "Amen, brother, preach on!"

One would think there is enough government money sloshing through university social science departments for someone to be interested enough in the problem of homelessness to focus on it and offer useful solutions. Alas, other social problems seem to get the nod when graduate students are looking to make their bones in the profession.

She once mentioned she'd heard hipsters there complaining that they'd missed out on the excitement of life in the City during the "Taxi Driver" and "Death Wish" years. Be careful what you wish for.
