“The anti-American press continues to try to squeeze the Orange Man.”
The anti-American press, better known as the propaganda arm of the Marxist/Democrat/Hate America Party is this country’s most dangerous fifth column. It is even more dangerous than Schumer or Tucker Carlson.
The President had the best comeback during his press conference when a reporter asked whether he "trusted the Iranians." His response was "I don't trust You."
Don't forget the Rinos. Think of all the times they sided with democrats to totally screw the American people. I pray the good people in Texas will oust John Cornyn in the runoff in May.
who more useless bondi or thune? i say thune. bondi is feel good useless. hillary to jail...that sort of stuff. thune is about to destroy the trump presidency, maga and our constitutional republic.
Cornyn is a bushie, nice guy except he likes gun control & amnesty & not much voting fraud and Trump tweets are mean…but other than that he’s really MAGA….
Ok NNTX, let me callup Coke Stevenson’s good buddy’s friend what the pantywaist reporters would not print, what ‘Cactus Jack’ John Nance Garner (a real life mule driver-see his state park), Texas’ VP to LBJ, would describe ‘Big John’ Cornyn’s job performance to advance the needs and desires of Texans:
“Not worth a bucket of warm piss”
Voting for Paxton all day long - he’s kinda like Bill Clinton in his ‘private life’, but dammit he’s fighting everyday for Texas while the others in Austin getting the vapors over Mr Can do…
Not so nice imho. I sent him many emails and phoned him during Trump’s 1st term, asking for him to push back on the Russia Russia Russia hoax. No return call and 1-2 sanctimonious email replies.
FLASH! CNN has called the war for Iran (according to the Babylon Bee). Oh, why not. CNN gets something right once a decade, heck, might as well be today.
I have a call into The Albino Tennis Ball, CNN’s Anderson Cooper, to confirm.
Don Surber: “… [NYT] reported [that] ‘Saudi Arabia’s … Mohammed bin Salman, has been pushing [DJT] to continue the war against Iran … according to people briefed by American officials on the conversations.”
Help here, please.
Is the above DOUBLE hearsay, since the “American officials” might NOT have been the ones who directly HEARD the (alleged) Salman-DJT conversations --- before they turned around and spoke to “people” who, in turn, spoke to the Times?
“My neighbors son’s wife heard from her nephew who works down at the factory who overheard their floor manager taking to a supplier who’d heard from…..”
That made me chuckle very very loudly. And now I think I shall go to sleep knowing that world isn't good hands The Lord God Almighty and the historical oracle Don.
Talking heads, even those deep in TDS territory, are beginning to refer to The Orange Man as "an historical figure." You bet. When the cuttin's done, the world will be a different place - and a better one. Iran - a bone in the throat of the entire world for 47 years - just ONE case in point.
Perhaps what's happening now points to the need for businessmen and people with real world experience to be our leaders - rather than professional politicians with NO skills and a lifetime of back-room dealmaking behind them - deals suited perfectly for use as cudgels to keep them in line. Ain't nobody got anything on Trump, and it drives them crazy.
The fundamental difference between the two is that business-oriented people focus on driving towards the outcomes they seek. Politicians just want to convene meetings, committees, focus groups, etc. and talk each other to tears before adjourning their meeting and awaiting the next one to come around. They don't ever actually accomplish anything, nor do they want to. They always need to be "in process" as that is what they believe makes it appear that they are making things happen. Their worst enemy and nightmare is someone who shows that things can actually be accomplished when someone actually wants to accomplish them.
Not to put too fine a point on it, but that's commonly thought of as the difference between men and women, isn't it? Men want to solve problems; women want to talk about them. (Believe me - over the course of two marriages, that's a lesson I learned over and over, and it is NOT a myth.)
Business is focused on meeting objectives for measurable results. Politicians are focused on managing perceptions for their personal gain. Sometimes those gains also benefit their constituents, but not usually.
I won't go into the gender issue until Don has separate comment boards for men and women.
Some few of us, however, ignore the feelz and go straight to problem solving. I credit my habits on this to my oldest brother who modeled this for me very young.
Like Kenny Rogers said, “There’ll be time enough for feelz when the job is done.”
What do we all think is a fulfilling conclusion for the Dems and their cult members after the last 10-20 years? The South Florida grand jury is delivering subpoenas to the Russiagate felons soon. If they’re tried and convicted and go to jail, will the Dems reform? Will they cease being a party? Will they abandon being idiots and funneling billions/trillions to illegals for their votes once elections are cleaned up & they can’t cheat? Am I dreaming any of that will happen?
The old guard like Pelosi and others will cut a deal and retire with their ill gotten gains. The newbies like AOC will be on their own against the Trumpster. That's not a good place to be.
The DEM's will never reform. They have to be replaced with a new generation of common sense folks - doubtful since I don't think DEM's are capable of having a shread of common sense.
The DEM's keep doubling down. Look at Talarico in Texas! He is crazy DEM squared and he is their new darling when all he appears to be is a snake oil salesman. Ironically they will be forced to change when Trump is no longer president because their whole strategy now is attack Trump and TDS is pulling together groups that normally would oppose each other. Ie. Gays for Palastine, liberal women supporting Sharia law, etc.
I don't know what will come when Trump is gone but I suspect some people will come to their senses.
Another column that crystallizes things so well. Like most of us here, I 'circulate' through alot of media, and do marvel at all the good people out there (on the Right) who are engaged in monitoring public affairs and sharing information and observations.
But for sheer, concentrated, incisiveness, Don Surber's columns are the best anywhere. I am so grateful to have found Surber. And I really think the commenting community here brings a wealth of varied insights and further information that really rounds out whatever the topic is. Plus, both Surber and the comments are filled with great humor that helps us all keep things in perspective and upbeat.
Somalia is a tempting “to do” target … But being the capital of Minnesota
(still, after all, a state … albeit with a resident, brave, American minority), I think the media will really howl!
And I’m really getting tired of having to stick my fingers in my ears.
The other contenders are all legit “to do” items, but it’s a matter of prioritizing the nearest threats to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
So … I gotta vote for “doing” the Democrats. If Trump can employ the same level of strategic thinking on our intra-borders, wannabe coercive utopians (aka, totalitarians… aka, dhimmicrats) … perhaps our grandchildren may get to live in a free country as our great or great-great grandparents did.
I wonder if that gift Iran gave to Trump yesterday included the names and proof of the politicians Iran has bought off over the years. My guess is the gift had something to do with Iran paying us like with a percent of the oil they produce.
The pent up rage within the people of Iran is indeed a potent force. The weighting of today’s poll question underscores how clever that certain group is at playing the blame game. Blame, as in twisting the “narrative” that someone other than the ayatollahs and the generals have been perpetrating mass murder of their own people.
I didn't think there were any Generals left?? I'm reminded of the old saying "Revenge is a dish best served cold". If you connect all of the recent dots it looks like the Trumpster will be taking his revenge on the Obama criminals from his base in Florida. No one will be spared.
If we leave the rest of the Mullah organization in tact, they will start all over again because they have oil to pay for everything. It floors me that we are so close to ending this threat forever and we aren’t going to finish the job. The GOP is so worried about the boots on the ground curse they are going to blow this very expensive war when so close to a lasting ending. The Iran people have no weapons, but the IRCG do and they will use them no different than before to restore the regime. Nope, kill or capture every single IRCG soldier and every Mullah in leadership now! If it takes troops to do so, do it! We will never get a chance like this again. Remember the Marine barracks attack? The hostages? The Iranian backed terrorists all over the world?
Trust the Trumpsters plan. Only a few know what it is and he likes it that way. I didn't realize it until today but I think North Korea is in his sights too. They need fertilizer to feed their people. If the Trumpster and Putin get a deal going one point might be no oil for North Korea. If North Korea falls and Russia makes a deal, that only leaves China left. That's not a good spot for China. Amazing stuff going on.....
I see your point and it may all happen. But I don’t trust anyone outside my family and close friends. I have trusted too many political types and presidents and they all have convinced me that none of them should be trusted. This has been the case since Bush senior. So I will reserve judgement on Trump for now but this rush to get out of Iran with the job not finished only because the GOP yet again are more concerned with their own reelection than doing the right thing for the country. If they don’t finish this and exterminate the rest of the Mullah power base, it will come back to haunt us again.. So you trust the government and GOP if you want, but I won’t.
I’m just spitballing here…once Cuba is given economic freedom…I think they would be able to provide the greatest auto mechanics in the world. How do they keep those 50’s and 60’s cars running with such a limited supply of parts? Besides the obligatory hotels that would head to Cuba…auto parts stores should open on every corner. Auto dealers in the US have long been known for replacing parts rather than repairing parts. I had a Lincoln dealer tell me I needed a new motor for my power window on my 1989 Lincoln Mark VII. Cost $525. I had a real mechanic look at it… fixed it for $95. I asked “how???” He said “I checked motor… had plastic gear…I put on metal gear. Problem fixed.” He was Russian. They rebuild things. Anyway, waiting to see my first Barrett Jackson auction in Havana.

wouldn't miss a trump presser for anything.
For good reason
Don't forget the Rinos. Think of all the times they sided with democrats to totally screw the American people. I pray the good people in Texas will oust John Cornyn in the runoff in May.
Amen on John CRONYn being ousted !

This line has been repeated umpteen times: "The media is an enemy of the people". As in "Public Enemy # 1".
03/25/26: You have that exactly right…
FLASH! CNN has called the war for Iran (according to the Babylon Bee). Oh, why not. CNN gets something right once a decade, heck, might as well be today.

TRIPLE hearsay? My head is spinning!
Hahaha! Yes! Hilarious!
“My neighbors son’s wife heard from her nephew who works down at the factory who overheard their floor manager taking to a supplier who’d heard from…..”
They all heard that “Ferris passed out at 21 Flavors last night.”
I would love to find out the identity of these people “who are familiar with the matter” since they know so much about so little.
As Reagan famously put it: “Liberals claim to know a lot. Problem is, everything they know is wrong.”
It's not what you know , that gets you in trouble , it's what you know they ain't so
Its miind over matter...if you dont mind...it dont matter!!!
Don, you keep leaving us schlubs in Minnesota off your list of places in need of liberation.
That’s because for operation Mogadishu on the Mississippi we’re gonna need bigger jails.
All those “casharoles” passed out in church basements ended up flying out of the country.
Stop being Minnesota nice, start being Minnesota fed up.
I heard today $330M (the largest amount of cash) sent from Minneapolis, our 18th largest airport.
Screams corruption. But then again there is Tim Waltz, Ilhan Omar, AG Ellison. To whom could one refer a corruption claim?
Don did mention Minnesota’s capital … Somalia.
Somaleapolis
That made me chuckle very very loudly. And now I think I shall go to sleep knowing that world isn't good hands The Lord God Almighty and the historical oracle Don.
Once he defeats the Democrats you Minnesotans can take care of the rest.
Fix your stolen elections. Trump can't fix your problems.
We’re working on it

But with folks like this and an attorney general who protects them - it’s going to be a process.
I feel your pain here in cesspool CA. 😖
thats why i chose somalia...
Talking heads, even those deep in TDS territory, are beginning to refer to The Orange Man as "an historical figure." You bet. When the cuttin's done, the world will be a different place - and a better one. Iran - a bone in the throat of the entire world for 47 years - just ONE case in point.

But enough about the U.S. Congress....
You're both correct.
Business is focused on meeting objectives for measurable results. Politicians are focused on managing perceptions for their personal gain. Sometimes those gains also benefit their constituents, but not usually.
I won't go into the gender issue until Don has separate comment boards for men and women.
You are exactly right. Talk, talk, talk, analyse something to death, THEN go with their feeeeeelings. 🙄
I agree that many women are like that.
Some few of us, however, ignore the feelz and go straight to problem solving. I credit my habits on this to my oldest brother who modeled this for me very young.
Like Kenny Rogers said, “There’ll be time enough for feelz when the job is done.”
(Or something like that.)
" ... a bone in the throat of the entire world ..." Love it!
DEMONRATS, somebody needs some serious jail time. Let's start with election fraud and mistreatment of J6 folks.
I like the way you think!
03/25/26: Good luck getting indictments in America's Mafia/Black KKK Capital, WDC.

Maybe the stroke rewired his brain.

Don’t forget Tallarico is also weird looking.
😂🤣🤌😎
He's not just stupid ; he's evil .
I think we’re going to have to wait and see which does take patience
I like your dreams Alice and pray they become reality !
Yes, probably. Sometimes dreams are all we have.

Don Surber: thank you son.
What a great time to be alive and get to watch this amazing event play out. Talk about living history!
Everything Chocolate Jesus & MushHead administrations touched turned into shit.
Trump touches the same things and it turns out ok to good.
And that my friends makes me smile.
Day 26 will be good.
Thanks Mr. S for insight & snark this morning.
03/25/26: "Chocolate Jesus"--- !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That’s an insult to chocolate which is almost everyone’s favorite thing. The magic negro, not so much.
Obama is not a negro, he is a “Halfrican”, his wife is a Negro!
No he is African...not born here
"The magic negro, not so much."
It matters to Rush fans who still miss him and need his insight and humor. Don is the only replacement.

Bottom line - Our astounding President Donald J Trump is remaking the entire planet.
That’s some TACO idiot, lefties. Choke on it.
TACO Ii
TRUMP Always Crushes Opposition
Yeah , well , so was joe biden ( remaking the planet) sure glad we'll stopped that one!!
Today is the Feast of the Annunciation. It celebrates when the Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary and said…have we got a job for you.
"Between Maduro and the ayatollah, the Taliban realize they no longer are dealing with pussycats like Obama and Biden."
You can remove the "cat" from that compound word and make it a much more accurate metaphor in that context.
To be fair, can't we include Bush on that list? The one who fantasized about Islam being a Religion of Peace? Or could he have meant "Pieces"?
There is no telling what Bush the Younger meant when he said that. Anyone with a lick of sense knew it wasn't true!
He wss strategerizing!!! Ha ha
I don't trust the Iranian government nor the Democrats.

It’s possible.
I wonder if that gift Iran gave to Trump yesterday included the names and proof of the politicians Iran has bought off over the years. My guess is the gift had something to do with Iran paying us like with a percent of the oil they produce.
Wouldn’t that list of American traitors be something?! I never thought of that.
The pent up rage within the people of Iran is indeed a potent force. The weighting of today’s poll question underscores how clever that certain group is at playing the blame game. Your keyboard to God's monitor.

Yup. The tentacles of that evil ideology go deeper than we can see. Let’s hope that the “newly reformed” intelligence agencies are up to the task.
We always seem to move the ball down the field swiftly and then when we are first and goal, we punt. I'll never understand why.

I don't trust the government or the GOP either. I trust Trump. He's earned it.
