Yup. Gonna be a hell of a 10 weeks, but make no mistake, DJT will be our next POTUS. And maybe Obama wasn't the Queen Bee but we know he would have liked to be!

I think years down the road when the Obama lure has worn off we will find that he was everything we thought he was and none of it good or normal.

Expand full comment

That’s happening already…just after Obama left office there were mumblings in the black community that Barry didn’t do much for them. And this time around, when interviewed a number of blacks say that skin color isn’t that important to them when inflation has knocked the bejesus out of them.

Loved "dollar store gummy bears", Donald. I've been talking about guilty white suburban women for years. I for one don't feel guilty - my wife and I scrimped and saved, put two kids through college and one through grad school by delaying gratification and making good decisions.

the only thing white women are guilty of is sloth. it's been a 100 years now, 65% of college students are women, 90% of k-12 teachers but here we are and not a single female seems ready to be potus.

Don't bet on it.... the Dems lie, cheat, steal, plan, raise money and remain relentless in their pursuit of winning. The Repubs don't measure up. And with the press in their pocket the Dems influence millions of stupid, dumb or both voters; many of whom are not citizens.

Expand full comment

Maybe. But I do think DJT will pull it off. Also think the FBI will try another false-flag desperate attempt to control the outcome. NO ONE has a bigger reason for stopping Trump than the DOJ and FBI. NO ONE.

Expand full comment

If elected, can Trump defeat the deep state? That’s my main concern. It’s possible he can, but the deep state will be fighting tooth and nail for their own survival. And we know what happens when they do that.

Expand full comment

FBI was started by an Executive Order so it should be ended by EO. We really cannot pretend to be a "free" country as long as the DOJ operates the way it does. We become more like Russia and the Stasi every day.

Expand full comment

There’s a big split between FBI management and the rank and file. Trump will have to find somebody who can really clean out the management. It can be done. But it’s very hard. Reagan said something about bureaucracies and government being The closest thing to immortal life on this planet. Or words to that effect.

Expand full comment

Not so sure of a "big split". Where would management recruit new members? Yes, from our universities. And who are these graduates? Brainwashed punks. If not they probably don't get the job. Of course not all, but one could guess over 90%. Sundance has something on this today.

Don Surber: "Poll: How Can Kamala Best Screw It Up?"

Circle "September 26, 2024" on your calendars for this upcoming event.

***

Many of us were surprised that Chicago didn't go up in flames in August:

08/28/24: "In the run-up to last week’s Democratic National Convention, media outlets pondered parallels between the infamous 1968 street slugfest [involving] ... Bobby Seale, Abbie Hoffman, and Richard J. Daley..." (Matt Taibbi).

The reason why the protests fizzled out is that all the Bobby Seales and Abbie Hoffmans were INSIDE the building, RUNNING the Democratic National Convention.

***

It's been nice to see "Kookamunga Harris" live up to her name.

By now, not even Walz wants to be in the same room with her --- he's now begging Doug Emhoff to volunteer to be her running mate.

Emhoff with unseeming alacrity declined the offer, but did volunteer the services of his ex-nanny.

Wouldn't it be great to be able to vote for "The Joe Biden & Doug Emhoff's Ex-Nannies" ticket?!

Expand full comment

A buddy of mine had a similar take a few weeks back - The Dems have conceded this round at the WH level and want to rid the party of Kamala and Walz who they view as weak candidates, but they couldn’t go around Kamal a because of identity politics.

But I don’t trust these weasels. They will cheat. That’s all they know how to do and they enjoy it.

So we shall see.

No doubt the polls are nonsense. They are there to demoralize you and suppress your vote. They also make dishonest election results more plausible.

Trump/Vance 2024

Best ticket in a long time. Hang in there.

Courage.

Expand full comment

Apparently polls have been skewed by weighting Dems more than Republicans in the sample. Also that more recent polls have not been made public to preserve the illusion of "inevitable and joyful (can I upchuck now!?) Kamala".

Charlie Kirk's show yesterday had a clip that an expert pollster in Iowa has a poll showing Trump up 19 points in Iowa! (much higher than the 11 points in 2016). Iowa polls meaningful for result in Wisconsin--no way Trump will lose WI with that margin in Iowa.

Praying!

Polls generally skew to the Left since Republicans tend to be reticent to talk to pollsters and because they aren’t sitting in the couch in mom’s basement playing Fortnite.

Yes. Supposedly the recent batch is worse than usual.

That said, I believe this will still be a close election given Dem ability to cheat with no consequences. We have to execute, ensure ANYONE we know that will vote R has a ride to the polls.

I worked forty years in a hospital department filled with young, fertile women. You'd think that for a young doctor it would be heaven; quite the opposite. There was constant turmoil, but I soon discovered that hiring men acted like moderator rods in a reactor, the more there were, the less fission. Whereas men can - and have - worked together to literally build the world (literally as in literally, not literally as in figuratively), women are everywhere and always in a constant state of competitive tension. It never improves, and surprisingly gets worse after menopause. I would sum up the Big Mike, "Doctor" Jill, and Hillary Ramrod Clinton friendships as follows: You scratch my back, and I'll scratch your eyes out.

Women tend to make their lives as complicated as possible. Men usually strive for simplicity. There are exceptions obviously, but it’s generally true.

In retirement I've had time to explore mysteries that have baffled me for decades. Although I hate their politics, I've found that watching a YouTube video or two at lunchtime has been extremely helpful in unravelling that mystery known as "he and she." I've found Jordan Peterson to be the best source. Many would say one has been "red-pilled," and that is true, but more importantly - now that it's too late, unfortunately - I think that I understand very well how it all works, warts and all, and it ain't pretty. Should I ever lose my mind and look for another mate, you'll find me in Thailand or the Philippines.

I have a granddaughter by marriage from the Philippines. Grandson loved the Islands but was victimized while there…story is irrelevant now. After returning home from travels far and wide (instead of college), he looked to date again and hit the jackpot right at home. She came here legally from the Philippines, educated, lovely, one of 13 children, was managing a local business and had a work ethic that blew her future MIL away. They took time and all the right steps before living together, starting a business, having a child and buying a home and finally celebrating by marriage. Grandson is business smart, successful and she is a partner in all ways. They have a big circle of friends some of whom are Filipina/American couples..with similar beginnings in the U.S.

My point is don’t be taken in for a citizenship marriage. There are young women already here who will want a partner for all the right reasons. When my granddaughter (studied, interviewed, paid fees) received her naturalized citizenship papers (5 years post legal status) she was so over the moon she told everyone who would listen. It meant a lot.

If you start off wrong it’s never quite right. My grands began on equal footing…single, never married, smart, industrious and built a marriage through sweat equity and love. And they gave me a great grandchild. Pretty swell all around.

He said “Those girls over there are flirting with me.” I glanced over my shoulder at the “ladies” in question and nodded in the affirmative and said: “You are right, buddy. They are checking you out, but those are not girls.” His smile disappeared. 😂

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was with you till the end. You want a lover/maid then that doesn't ask anything of you so you could get a dog; much cheaper. Now that I'm older, I agree insofar as men are 4 year old boys their entire lives wanting a mommy and to be able go outside and play cowboy or president. No complications. Keep it simple. Women overthink everything (I don't anymore, really don't care what you do) but being older does make women stronger and we can be relentless. Is that a bad thing? Older men (hormone thing) and older women switch roles in some ways. It's really easy to understand once you understand it all, lol.

Expand full comment

Yes, I understand about those "little boys" who want to "go outside and play." You mean like play at building the entire world women live in - a world largely built FOR those women? ALL the buildings. All the roads. All the automobiles. All the ocean-going ships that bring goods from all over the world. All the over-the-road trucks that bring your food. All the infrastructure - not only laying and plumbing the pipes that bring you water, but take away your pee and poo later, but pouring the steel to make those pipes, and manufacturing and stringing the half-million Volt powerlines that brought you the electricity that you used to write your paragraph. "Little boys." Got it.

addendum: not that men resent building the world for women; That's What They Do, and they love doing it. Occasional acknowledgment and gratitude - such as we reliably receive from Eastern women - would be appreciated, though. Enjoy your cats.

Expand full comment

We weren't talking about that part but we could get into what women do in that regard also. Women are on call 24/7/365 to live human beings with immediate needs no matter how we feel or how full our schedule is. Schedule includes the life, health, and happiness of husband, children, pets, parents often and lastly themselves. They are multitasking food, lodging, washing, drying, folding/ironing and having clothes ready to wear, beds comfy/clean to sleep in, etc. etc., now I am not going to go on because I can imagine you are starting to get it after your description of men's "jobs" so if you want to get bent out of shape about how each sex thinks, there is no way I can help you. A mother is never never done till it's all over. And btw, not only do we have to deal with pee, and cleaning up human poop, there is also vomit (whether you are prepared for it or not), sometimes blood, and any other vile thing you can think of. I hate cats but I would, as a mother, not turn away a poor sick kitty. We give care, safety and love to all or most of us do. You don't feel "appreciated" because you are not choosing the right people. We tell our men how much we appreciate what they do on a regular basis and that feeling is returned. We don't need to hear how wonderful we are because we know it and it's part of the job. Think about what is your job and go with it. Oh, and I can change a tire too, do some home repairs, and dig a post hole to plant the landscaping in the yard. Wow, how do we do it all? You can come home and night and plunk in your easy chair, read the paper, watch some tv while we are now preparing dinner, then cleaning up and washing dishes, etc. etc. and you are "done" for the day. ZZZZzzzz

Accountability must be subservient to optics: the Dems are unwilling to do anything that makes them appear weak in their own eyes – which shows their weakness to everyone who loves the truth.

Apart from the stupid-bad optics, it would really make things more difficult for Harris. Not with legal or monetary problems the way replacing Harris as the presidential candidate would. The bigger problem would be the process of choosing a proper replacement: it would be like a dog returning to the mess of its own vomit, pitting all the factions that wanted a centrist vs the greenies vs the gender benders vs the anarchists vs the mammonites and so on. Acrimony on steroids. It is the kind of thing God might arrange as an object lesson on the works of the flesh vs the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5).
