Yup. Gonna be a hell of a 10 weeks, but make no mistake, DJT will be our next POTUS. And maybe Obama wasn't the Queen Bee but we know he would have liked to be!

Loved "dollar store gummy bears", Donald. I've been talking about guilty white suburban women for years. I for one don't feel guilty - my wife and I scrimped and saved, put two kids through college and one through grad school by delaying gratification and making good decisions.
the only thing white women are guilty of is sloth. it's been a 100 years now, 65% of college students are women, 90% of k-12 teachers but here we are and not a single female seems ready to be potus.
i imagine black women must feel pinched. they hate trump (white man bad) but know that harris is a bag of dollar store gummy bears. of course 60% of white women probably feel the same way. those 'feelings' always seem to get in the way of logic and common sense. oh well, it's a new world order and every man/women for themselves. you've come a long way baby.
Don't bet on it.... the Dems lie, cheat, steal, plan, raise money and remain relentless in their pursuit of winning. The Repubs don't measure up. And with the press in their pocket the Dems influence millions of stupid, dumb or both voters; many of whom are not citizens.
Maybe. But I do think DJT will pull it off. Also think the FBI will try another false-flag desperate attempt to control the outcome. NO ONE has a bigger reason for stopping Trump than the DOJ and FBI. NO ONE.
If elected, can Trump defeat the deep state? That’s my main concern. It’s possible he can, but the deep state will be fighting tooth and nail for their own survival. And we know what happens when they do that.
FBI was started by an Executive Order so it should be ended by EO. We really cannot pretend to be a "free" country as long as the DOJ operates the way it does. We become more like Russia and the Stasi every day.
There’s a big split between FBI management and the rank and file. Trump will have to find somebody who can really clean out the management. It can be done. But it’s very hard. Reagan said something about bureaucracies and government being The closest thing to immortal life on this planet. Or words to that effect.
Not so sure of a "big split". Where would management recruit new members? Yes, from our universities. And who are these graduates? Brainwashed punks. If not they probably don't get the job. Of course not all, but one could guess over 90%. Sundance has something on this today.
KK, I believe that Trump can make a beginning at neutralizing the deep state, but we will need at least another 8 after his 4 to fully accomplish what needs to be done

The reason why the protests fizzled out is that all the Bobby Seales and Abbie Hoffmans were INSIDE the building, RUNNING the Democratic National Convention.

It's been nice to see "Kookamunga Harris" live up to her name.
By now, not even Walz wants to be in the same room with her --- he's now begging Doug Emhoff to volunteer to be her running mate.
Emhoff with unseeming alacrity declined the offer, but did volunteer the services of his ex-nanny.
Wouldn't it be great to be able to vote for "The Joe Biden & Doug Emhoff's Ex-Nannies" ticket?!
A buddy of mine had a similar take a few weeks back - The Dems have conceded this round at the WH level and want to rid the party of Kamala and Walz who they view as weak candidates, but they couldn’t go around Kamal a because of identity politics.
But I don’t trust these weasels. They will cheat. That’s all they know how to do and they enjoy it.
So we shall see.
No doubt the polls are nonsense. They are there to demoralize you and suppress your vote. They also make dishonest election results more plausible.
Apparently polls have been skewed by weighting Dems more than Republicans in the sample. Also that more recent polls have not been made public to preserve the illusion of "inevitable and joyful (can I upchuck now!?) Kamala".
Charlie Kirk's show yesterday had a clip that an expert pollster in Iowa has a poll showing Trump up 19 points in Iowa! (much higher than the 11 points in 2016). Iowa polls meaningful for result in Wisconsin--no way Trump will lose WI with that margin in Iowa.
Polls generally skew to the Left since Republicans tend to be reticent to talk to pollsters and because they aren’t sitting in the couch in mom’s basement playing Fortnite.
Yes. Supposedly the recent batch is worse than usual.
That said, I believe this will still be a close election given Dem ability to cheat with no consequences. We have to execute, ensure ANYONE we know that will vote R has a ride to the polls.
I worked forty years in a hospital department filled with young, fertile women. You'd think that for a young doctor it would be heaven; quite the opposite. There was constant turmoil, but I soon discovered that hiring men acted like moderator rods in a reactor, the more there were, the less fission. Whereas men can - and have - worked together to literally build the world (literally as in literally, not literally as in figuratively), women are everywhere and always in a constant state of competitive tension. It never improves, and surprisingly gets worse after menopause. I would sum up the Big Mike, "Doctor" Jill, and Hillary Ramrod Clinton friendships as follows: You scratch my back, and I'll scratch your eyes out.
In retirement I've had time to explore mysteries that have baffled me for decades. Although I hate their politics, I've found that watching a YouTube video or two at lunchtime has been extremely helpful in unravelling that mystery known as "he and she." I've found Jordan Peterson to be the best source. Many would say one has been "red-pilled," and that is true, but more importantly - now that it's too late, unfortunately - I think that I understand very well how it all works, warts and all, and it ain't pretty. Should I ever lose my mind and look for another mate, you'll find me in Thailand or the Philippines.
I'd heard about the "lady boys" but haven't done any research. I have a relative there spending August with his Filipina fiancé. I'll ask him for the poop on it when he gets home.
I have a granddaughter by marriage from the Philippines. Grandson loved the Islands but was victimized while there…story is irrelevant now. After returning home from travels far and wide (instead of college), he looked to date again and hit the jackpot right at home. She came here legally from the Philippines, educated, lovely, one of 13 children, was managing a local business and had a work ethic that blew her future MIL away. They took time and all the right steps before living together, starting a business, having a child and buying a home and finally celebrating by marriage. Grandson is business smart, successful and she is a partner in all ways. They have a big circle of friends some of whom are Filipina/American couples..with similar beginnings in the U.S.
My point is don’t be taken in for a citizenship marriage. There are young women already here who will want a partner for all the right reasons. When my granddaughter (studied, interviewed, paid fees) received her naturalized citizenship papers (5 years post legal status) she was so over the moon she told everyone who would listen. It meant a lot.
If you start off wrong it’s never quite right. My grands began on equal footing…single, never married, smart, industrious and built a marriage through sweat equity and love. And they gave me a great grandchild. Pretty swell all around.
That all sounds perfect except as a mother, I seriously think it's necessary to be married BEFORE having a child. This baby first and then marriage just feels very wrong to me on several levels. (in general)
They are all over the place. Having done charity surgical missions to Asia and having spent time in both countries, it’s a thing. You see a lot of older American men there with young lady boys. Out to lunch in Cebu one day with an anesthesiology colleague, I noticed him smiling. I asked him what was up. He said “Those girls over there are flirting with me.” I glanced over my shoulder at the “ladies” in question and nodded in the affirmative and said: “You are right, buddy. They are checking you out, but those are not girls.” His smile disappeared. 😂
I was with you till the end. You want a lover/maid then that doesn't ask anything of you so you could get a dog; much cheaper. Now that I'm older, I agree insofar as men are 4 year old boys their entire lives wanting a mommy and to be able go outside and play cowboy or president. No complications. Keep it simple. Women overthink everything (I don't anymore, really don't care what you do) but being older does make women stronger and we can be relentless. Is that a bad thing? Older men (hormone thing) and older women switch roles in some ways. It's really easy to understand once you understand it all, lol.
Yes, I understand about those "little boys" who want to "go outside and play." You mean like play at building the entire world women live in - a world largely built FOR those women? ALL the buildings. All the roads. All the automobiles. All the ocean-going ships that bring goods from all over the world. All the over-the-road trucks that bring your food. All the infrastructure - not only laying and plumbing the pipes that bring you water, but take away your pee and poo later, but pouring the steel to make those pipes, and manufacturing and stringing the half-million Volt powerlines that brought you the electricity that you used to write your paragraph. "Little boys." Got it.
addendum: not that men resent building the world for women; That's What They Do, and they love doing it. Occasional acknowledgment and gratitude - such as we reliably receive from Eastern women - would be appreciated, though. Enjoy your cats.
We weren't talking about that part but we could get into what women do in that regard also. Women are on call 24/7/365 to live human beings with immediate needs no matter how we feel or how full our schedule is. Schedule includes the life, health, and happiness of husband, children, pets, parents often and lastly themselves. They are multitasking food, lodging, washing, drying, folding/ironing and having clothes ready to wear, beds comfy/clean to sleep in, etc. etc., now I am not going to go on because I can imagine you are starting to get it after your description of men's "jobs" so if you want to get bent out of shape about how each sex thinks, there is no way I can help you. A mother is never never done till it's all over. And btw, not only do we have to deal with pee, and cleaning up human poop, there is also vomit (whether you are prepared for it or not), sometimes blood, and any other vile thing you can think of. I hate cats but I would, as a mother, not turn away a poor sick kitty. We give care, safety and love to all or most of us do. You don't feel "appreciated" because you are not choosing the right people. We tell our men how much we appreciate what they do on a regular basis and that feeling is returned. We don't need to hear how wonderful we are because we know it and it's part of the job. Think about what is your job and go with it. Oh, and I can change a tire too, do some home repairs, and dig a post hole to plant the landscaping in the yard. Wow, how do we do it all? You can come home and night and plunk in your easy chair, read the paper, watch some tv while we are now preparing dinner, then cleaning up and washing dishes, etc. etc. and you are "done" for the day. ZZZZzzzz
We have a doctor friend who’s an admitting physician at a NY hospital who said that during the Covid pandemic female employees cried so much they had to set aside a special room for them to do so to avoid upsetting patients. When I mention this to female friends they say crying is good. But our male doctor friend that in and of itself was disruptive to the business and caring at hand…..
When you are faced with someone else's tragedy, you absolutely have to keep it together. I always told my staff, "You can be shaken to your core; you cannot choke. Stuff it inside and go home and cry like a baby." I had that problem with children as cancer patients. Just couldn't stand it. But I realized that everybody was looking at me to set the tone and I held it together. Not as much fun as one might imagine ....
It sounds like you're talking about the real Minnesota Vikings of my day - the Bud Grant Vikings.
Never could win that Super Bowl.
Z was a refreshing throw-back to that era, but after the late Mike Lynn facilitated the Cowboys Super Bowl-winning season with the equivalent of trading for magic beans, and especially when the entire league went woke, I was done with them and the NFL, as a whole.
08/28/24: Jake, my sincere condolences. Sam Darnold --- should he start for the Vikes --- is going to have a very, very long season (although I don't see him lasting for long, finally being benched in the mid-October tops). Tune into Tyler Zev in northern MN (if possible for free, although a subscription may be necessary and he's worth the expense) on Monday mornings for his hilarious recaps (is it called a "podcast"? I haven't been able to muster an interest in what these things are now called, a trend that started when the hideous word "blog" appeared, then gained traction. "Podcast" is equally repugnant).
Oh my god. Truer words and all that. As a woman, I keep BEGGING the people who do the hiring at my store to PLEASE for the love of Pete, hire a damn man. A REAL one preferably. I don’t even care if he likes men , only that he’s a manly man. With testosterone and a calm demeanor, a dislike of drama and a good work ethic. It’s not too much to ask is it?? Whenever they do finally, all the customers just brighten up and talk about how nice it is to see a dude working here—and this is the TEENAGER they hired. Imagine if there was an *actual* man. Some of the girls might actually show up for work just to rub elbows with one. <sigh>
I have had a strong suspicion lately that PDJT is playing "rope-a-dope" with the debate negotiations. Kamala has just never shown the ability to debate anyone, much less Trump. He could very well do to her what he did to Biden. Buckle up, it's going to be a wild ride.
In the debate between Biden and Trump, the moderators were actually somewhat fair. I found that odd and unexpected and I believe a one-off. I don't see that happening again.
I agree. We might be missing something. The NYT just published a blistering take on Kamala. That doesn't happen without approval and an ulterior motive. Keep your eyes and ears open for more clues to come.
OR, I don't trust ANY of them and they may play on Trumps ego and he will lose his cool. I HOPE NOT!!!! He should bury her with even a smirk. (If he remains in charge in his head).
08/26/24: Not that there's a chance of her doing well under any conditions --- In 2024, she'd lose a debate with Joe Biden! --- but if DJT were to attend the debate and not say a single word, she'd lose anyway. Employ the effective Japanese technique of responding with silence.
I believe that as long as the printing machines work and the ballot boxes are open the Dems intend to win, regardless of the candidate. AG Garland drew the line when he threatened anyone who would question election integrity and “justice” Jackson said she’d be prepared to support it. The radical knows only offense and doesn’t retreat.
You are right on. I expressed this same view but with different words. Do not assume that DJT is going to win; it is not likely in my mind because of the POWER of the Dems.
What a disappointment she's turned out to be. David Souter in drag, and desperate for the approval of those who hate her, just like Shrub, and his dad, HW.
"Jeff Bezos and his Washington Post got on their broom on August 26, 2016, and buzzed Oz with the message: Surrender Republicans." "Flying monkeys in the media" That paints a vivid picture, and I wish a pox on their house of cards.
For entertainment, watch Dr. Phil's two-part interview with Rudy Giuliani. He knows where all the bodies are buried, how foreign bribery money was transferred from country to country and laundered before it wound up in Biden's pocket. The Country's Mayor has been victimized so badly that he deserves a position in Trump's administration so he can investigate and prosecute the scum of the earth who profited by selling our country to China while padding their bank accounts. Lawyer up, guys, Rudy is about to get even and clean house. PS: Don't lick your fingers as you count the money.
The poll option "Fire Walz" is very interesting. It would be a huge admission of failed leadership, so it won't happen. Accountability must be subservient to optics: the Dems are unwilling to do anything that makes them appear weak in their own eyes – which shows their weakness to everyone who loves the truth.
Apart from the stupid-bad optics, it would really make things more difficult for Harris. Not with legal or monetary problems the way replacing Harris as the presidential candidate would. The bigger problem would be the process of choosing a proper replacement: it would be like a dog returning to the mess of its own vomit, pitting all the factions that wanted a centrist vs the greenies vs the gender benders vs the anarchists vs the mammonites and so on. Acrimony on steroids. It is the kind of thing God might arrange as an object lesson on the works of the flesh vs the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5).
If one of the reasons this pathological liar was picked for his military background who the hell was responsible for vetting him? Is the incompetence this transparent? Or could it be no one else really wanted to be Kackle's running mate?
I can't picture Governor Brylcreem playing second fiddle to anyone. especially Harris. Harris and Whitmar would be a cat fight. the same for Harris and Hochul
For all the reasons you cite, that's why Biden dropped a turd in the pool and endorsed Kamala. BHO wanted the astronaut. Now they can't fire her and Joe is laughing all the way to the memory care facility.
I just can't see Biden as cognitively clear enough to have a clue what "he" was doing when "he" endorsed Kamala. I think some unidentified staffer arranged that endorsement.
We KNOW there had to be a massive payoff or Jill, Hunter and Joey would have never played the game. We currently HAVE NO PRESIDENT!!! No one seems to care, not even Republicans who should.
In Russia the “party” appoints who will run (sound familiar?). Then they neutralize or make political opponents disappear (sound familiar?). Then they hold a rigged election (sound familiar?). Once in power or back in power they change many rules so that they can more easily rig the next election (sound familiar?). Essentially, they appoint the leader. Socialism, Communism, Totalitarianism--- call it what you like. It is happening here right before your eyes.
All it will take is one debate. Trump will undress Harris and reveal the word salad imbecile that she is. No notes, No pre-debate questions handed to her. Zero ability to string a sentence together that makes a bit of sense. No platform. All her blabbing about what's wrong with the country and how she will fix it. But, as soon as Trump says, "Well, you've had three and a half years to do something, and you've done squat," her candidacy will come screeching to a halt. Landslide in the making, folks. It looks like a brutal defeat for the Dems. And when it is over, 84-year old, drunken Pelosi's clout will evaporate and be gone forever. Yes, there is a Santa Claus. Trump was wounded in his left ear by a stray bullet, but is determined more than ever to eradicate the cancer in this country that was brought on by the Democrat Party. Get ready for a Republican parade in DC. The best is yet to come.
I don't. My millennial children voted for it and argue Harris is not the result of a coup. All just right wing nonsense according to two out of the three, and the third doesn't plan to vote. They all used to be able to think logically, but years immersed in the progressive cesspool of college followed by living in big, blue cities have corrupted their thinking.
just curious....did you pay for those colleges and did you raise them in a blue city? my son is a rock solid conservative even though he went to public schools. his 4 years in the navy helped a lot but i'm very conservative and so was his mother.
We lived in a small town in an area that is reliably red. They all paid for most of college themselves, thru working and scholarships and have careers. Oldest got a masters in political science, and paid off his student loans before covid.
Thanks for bringing back those past articles on how The Donald was going down to defeat in 2016. Even then they did not work to demoralize us. The press has even less power today as it continues its wooden soldier march into irrelevance.
That was right after the Brits voted Brexit. The pushback earthquakes had started….. That exit has EU clawback provisions that last 10 Years - any ‘injury’ to EU from the UK has t/b paid as an Exit Tax…..that 10 years is gone in 2026…..
Take it from a MN resident: Walz is a de-facto communist. What he did during the Scamdemic was straight out of the communist manifesto and he made his Chinese benefactors proud.
He ruined several of my small business friends' lives. Literally. Life savings gone.
When Kamala opens her mouth to explain the word salad that’s coming it reminds me of Jack Handey on SNL and his deep thoughts segments. Deep thoughts that one wonders what the heck????
Reminds me of Chauncey Gardener: "In the garden, growth has its seasons. First comes spring and summer, but then we have fall and winter. And then we get spring and summer again". Maybe he is part of her studies!!
Yup. Gonna be a hell of a 10 weeks, but make no mistake, DJT will be our next POTUS. And maybe Obama wasn't the Queen Bee but we know he would have liked to be!
I think years down the road when the Obama lure has worn off we will find that he was everything we thought he was and none of it good or normal.
That’s happening already…just after Obama left office there were mumblings in the black community that Barry didn’t do much for them. And this time around, when interviewed a number of blacks say that skin color isn’t that important to them when inflation has knocked the bejesus out of them.

Whoopie was the voice of the head Hyena in "The Lion King". How appropriate.
Didn't know that, never saw the Lion King.

Agree Cookie. And we need Congress to actually pass laws re lawfare & the DOJ & the IC, with oversight that is completely unconnected to them.
We do not need more laws, Just enforce current as intended and most problems will diminish or disappear.
Well, we're doomed, then...
Hope for four, probably eight

08/28/24: Beautifully written. Thank you.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ZZZZzzzz
Now THAT's better....
I used to tell my folks to put their problems (from work) in a box and wrap it up before going home.
Helps keep one sane and also allows the miraculous subconscious mind to percolate solutions.
I always said that to my daughters, you keep on your professional face in public and scream in your car on the way home)
I feel the same way about my Minnesota Vikings. Brave face in public and then I go home, lock myself in a bathroom and cry my eyes out.
From one fan to another the Vikings are the original heartbreakers in crunch time.
Every man knows this but you're not allowed to say it. You're a bad man for bringing it up. Thank you anyway.
<sigh>
08/28/24: In today's America, you've been handed the personnel office's children's menu.
I think the moderators were told that "Joe must go".
I think the word you're searching for is CORRUPTION not power.
Both words are correct; and there are a ton more; I try to keep it brief when commenting on this post. We are on the same page.
Thanks. I was thinking the EXACT same thing...corruption has taken over and I realized that when Comey let HRC walk.
They know they can rely on Justice Jackson.
MAGA knows now it CANNOT rely on Justice ACB.
Yes-- superb references to Oz in today's column!
I hope RG still has enough gas to imprison those that have used lawfare.
I think the latter, even if that means admitting there ARE rational Democrats.
I think Walz was China's choice.
Imagine if something happened to Kamala. China would totally own our President, even more than they owned (own) Biden.
Yes, you sound Biblical. And we are Job.
Smoke filled back rooms never have gone away.
Seth Dillon is reporting the Harris camp requested her mic be muted the entire debate .
I believe that was reported by the Babylon Bee so it must be true.
She didn’t request it. She fought it. But has since relented.
Their mics will be muted by request of the Trump campaign, as they were in his debate with Biden.
Correction: it was by no means a stray bullet. It was very much an AIMED bullet, albeit poorly, thank God.
And We’ll need a miracle and some serious cohones to defeat the cheat.
Pray much. 🙏
The Biden/Harris administration have done squat in my opinion. They worked hard from day one to undo Trump's policies and bring the nation down.
Kamala was in the bus yelling at the driver but she wasn't driving the bus. Joe wasn't either.
Kamala did you know Biden was forcing FB to lie?
PS: please never use the wording "undress Kamala" again.
DJ - what a wonderful, beautiful Christmas gift that would be!
You mean right ear. Visualize it when he swats at it and falls to the ground.
for the good of my own sanity i trust that trump will prevail. that takes me to 80 years old!
I'm in a similar boat. I just hate leaving this mess to the kids.
I have no idea how this happened lol.
same here, dad and I cancel out their votes or vice versa. Still in shock.
i don't.
Say it ain’t so!!! donald with a bit of optimism? LOL. Good for you.
Thanks for bringing back those past articles on how The Donald was going down to defeat in 2016. Even then they did not work to demoralize us. The press has even less power today as it continues its wooden soldier march into irrelevance.
Best comment was Hillary's. She said if Trump wins we'll all hang! I'm still disappointed that the Trumpster didn't do it.....
That was right after the Brits voted Brexit. The pushback earthquakes had started….. That exit has EU clawback provisions that last 10 Years - any ‘injury’ to EU from the UK has t/b paid as an Exit Tax…..that 10 years is gone in 2026…..
The women of Briton will soon be wearing Hiijabs.
That is likely true but makes me very sad. I used to love traveling around the UK, thought it beautiful, but I wouldn't go there now if you paid me to
I won't even go to NYC!!!
They arrested TWO 11 year olds in connection with riots in the UK this month
Be glad we have a Bill of Rights, particularly 1st and 2nd Amendments.
Second amendment standing fairly strong but not so much the first…
And the poor Brits...don't have either. Aussies found out one their firearms were confiscated that there was no more free speech either.
Makes one appreciate the genius of our founders.
Professor Irwin Corey, "The World's Foremost Authority", comes to my mind.
