I suffered a massive bout of schadenfreude yesterday and some of it is still hanging around today.
I heard that Dylan Mulvaney is taking Megan Rapinoe's modeling spot for Victoria's Secret. Mulvaney is better looking and not as obnoxious as Ms. Rapinoe.

During the National Anthem a fella, who Charlie Daniels had in mind for UnEasy Rider, "long hair pinko type with green teeth" sat through the rendition. After the anthem I commented what an ass_____. My center right father, matter of factly informed me "I went to Normandy so he could sit there". Say no more my Dad's perspective changed my thinking. Fast forward 20 years (I'm sorry I'm monopolizing this forum) during the summer one morning we dropped my kid off at a college overnight orientation. After a nearby lunch, my wife asked if we should check on him. With as much pride & patriotism as I could offer I responded "my father was at Normandy when he was 19.....our son can find his own dorm room.
