What the Brits and the rest of the Global elite really mean is Trump is a threat to the world that has been mooching off hard working Americans for 248 years. It will end tomorrow.

ADORABLE, YOU ARE BRILLIANT AS WELL! THANK YOU FOR MY FIRST MORNING CHUCKLE! WE DO NOT CARE ONE WHIT ABOUT BRITAIN AND THE PEVERSE MORONS WHO RUN THAT PLACE. WE WILL NEVER VISIT THEM OR ASK THEM TO VISIT US. WE NEED TO ISOLATE A BIT, AND RESTRUCTURE OUR COUNTRY FAMILY LOYALTY, AND STOP READING FOREIGN GARBAGE. THE BRITISH HAVE LEFT THEIR INTEGRITY IN THE DUST BIN A LONG TIME AGO. WE DO NOT CARE, WE HAVE ENOUGH FOR ALL OF US TO GLOAT ABOUT WHO WE ARE. THE REST OF THE WORLD CAN EASILY SEE THIS. THOSE WHO CANNOT SEE OR CARE TO SEE, DO NOT MATTER TO US. WE ARE JUST ABOUT OFFICIALLY 'DONE' WITH MANY MORONS AROUND THE WORLD. 'TARRIFF' IS MY NEW FAVORITE WORD. AND 'TRUMP'. TRUMP TARRIFF.... harris has the advantage in that she has a bigger chunk of the male vote than trump does of female voters. that's thanks to k-12, feminism, the war on boys/men, msm and social media. plus there are more women than men in these united states. plus more women vote than men. never forget the math gail. the math never lies.

All true which is why I am beside myself with worry!

BUT Trump has supposedly captured FAR MORE of ethnic demographics than any other Republican presidential candidates - Jewish (thanks to 10-7 and the Hamas protests and the Dems sanctioning it and we have worked to get votes from Americans who live in Israel), blacks, Hispanics, union workers. I also HOPE Christians GET THE HECK OUT TO VOTE.

It all comes down to money. The British fear that the USA will stop funding Ukraine and that via NATO the USA will continue to demand under Trump that the British and Europeans take more responsibility for their defense, ie pony up their own money. They are truly panicked over this. You could say the British today aren’t exactly principled. They would prefer that the American taxpayers foot the bills. Kamala will oblige.

Expand full comment

Just get rid of our role in NATO and watch the implosion happen. If they want us to carry the weight of NATO they need to shut their fish and chip smeared mouths and such it up. I still think that four more years of Trump will bring Russia and us closer together than we have ever been. Russia desperately needs us as a trading partner. For one, American farmers would benefit greatly from closer ties as would automakers. If it happens, watch the EU implode. We are better off with closer ties to Russia.

Full agreement here Redd.

I don't want closer ties with Russia. Right now their best buddy is Iran, the global exporter of terrorism and the enemy of Israel.

I don't support Ukraine either. As I see it, the purpose of their war is to deplete America's stocks of weapons and ammunition.

As of yesterday the story was that Ukraine needs 500,000 more troops. And the territory game is close to a stand-off.

Also, supposedly Biden's take on the Ukraine/Russia war is to give Ukraine "just enough" to continue fighting but not so much as to trigger nuclear weapons from Russia.

It doesn't take a crystal ball to see that peace talks will occur soon--whatever the election results.

The majority of British people wholeheartedly want Trump to win, just as the people in nearly every other Western nation do as well. What is in sharp relief today, moreso than almost anytime in history all around the world is the phenomenon of the people vs. their own governments.

Every Western government today is working feverishly, night and day, and in every crafty diabolical way that they can, to censor free speech and crushingly regulate every facet of human life, in pursuit of some delusional new world order. Along the way, they are tearing down borders, destroying economies, and wreaking havoc the world over.

The Economist should be given the Pulitzer Prize for cognitive dissonance, for, after they finish laying out the utterly astounding list of accomplishments achieved during Trump’s first administration, they then somehow manage to go on and endorse his opponent - For… what? - a bunch of words describing nebulous and wholly imaginary gobbledygook.

That was truly breathtaking, I mean seriously.

This election is first and foremost about saving this country from certain ruin. But almost equally as importantly, it is about keeping the whole world from being plunged into darkness.

Clearly the rulers of that darkness are not at all happy about how things are looking, but let us hope and pray that God has “other plans” for them.

May God have mercy on us all, and see fit to let us prevail in this election, restoring us as one nation, under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all - here, and around the world.

Expand full comment

And being at war with their government includes our own party here in the USA. We in the GOP have some appalling representatives in our House and Senate. They should call those two bodies "retirement homes".

Indeed! Our own representative s have shown themselves to be cowards, of not altogether in on the grift.

I can recall one Representative, (whose name I forget), when his constituents were blowing up his phones and emails to get him to vote a certain way on some Bill, (not the way he planned to vote), angrily decried them as harassing him!

They hate us.

Sorry, Surbs, tomorrow’s the big day, and I am hijacking Don's comments. His megaphone is infinitely louder than mine. Is there any lower level these cretins will sink to? Deny the Military the right to vote? Why no, why do you ask? Don’t you know BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY, deplorable? Mast (R-FL), Huizenga (R-MI), and Waltz (R-FL) sent a letter to Secretary of Defense Austin, citing their “grave concern over deficiencies in the Defense Department’s protocols” for the U.S. military. They said the absentee ballot stockpile has been “depleted and had not been replenished.” “Our nation’s brave men and women in uniform brought to our attention that they will not have a voice in this election”.

I want his ass in lifetime solitary. Like Goering in 1945-46, he'll lose weight in prison before his trial.

Expand full comment

I have one issue with this story - everyone in the military does not use a single ballot from a stockpile. Our elections are by state. When I served overseas with the government (not military) it was up to me to contact my own state elections board and insure that an absentee ballot was sent to me a couple of months before the election. I imagine that it’s the same for the military as I can’t see unit commanders having to send off orders for ballots to every state in which their troops live.

If any shenanigans are going on with military ballots, it probably comes down to the USPS. How hard would it be to simply discard absentee ballots coming in from APO addresses?

Yup I sent home for my ballot. There was no place to go to for a ballot where I was stationed. That said, I was never sure my ballot was actually counted.

So... no budget for printing ballots but plenty of money for lopping off penises. Makes sense.

Expand full comment

The blatant "fixing" going on everywhere in the government is appalling, but especially in this instance where the politically appointed "leadership" denies the ability to cast a vote to the troops they ostensibly command. Yet these same people think it appropriate to allow non-citizens to vote. But it is disheartening to note that the best the opposition can do is send one of their "strongly worded letters" to the scofflaws who will ignore it and keep doing whatever they please.

Yes, some in the electorate are ignorant, but not stupid. People generally see the truth, but in many cases their economic position overrides their judgement. Once you see why people voted a particular way you can usually understand the reason. Many, many people see the candidates somewhat the same, as just politicians without any distinction. Don't underestimate peoples votes this time. Someone is spending an inordinate amount of money to make the election seem close.

The Brits have closed their markets to US companies but expect a wide open marketplace in the USA so they can take our money. Screw them and tariff the hell out of these countries.

The tariff won't be a "tax" on American citizens when our free market allows another seller of those goods to set up shop in America.

Screw Europe, the United Kingdom, the EU, and England . . . and all the other arbitrary boundary areas they set up.

Expand full comment

Tariffs are a tool to be used selectively. Used wrong, they will hurt us more.

Expand full comment

If global trade was in-balance I'd fully agree with you but it's not. It is way out of balance from decades of abuse.

Tariffs offset the millions of US jobs and factories that I saw move offshore leaving this country to survive as a "service" industry. We now have to buy everything we need from China and southeast Asia.

It's time we undo that radical shift with many tariffs that bring work home or allows a competitor in our free market to set up shop and compete.

Unfair trade (trade imbalance) has been rampant for decades. It's time we stop that imbalance and it begins with wide use of tariffs.

And they have no excuse. Trump successfully used the threat of a big tariff to persuade Mexico to keep illegal migrants in Mexico.
