These house idiots better put term limits up for a vote or they are and should be done.

My Congressman . backbench Bill Posey was asked, by me,- face to face at a Trump 2016 election party-about putting forward a bill for term limits. His response was “that’s why we have elections “.

I have never voted for the man since. To me he is back bench scum.

Don't forget the loophole so it's legal for NASA to give kickbacks. If this scenario were in place right now, there would be ten colonies on the Moon complete with casinos, Nancy Pelosi tending bar, and Big Mike handing out reparations to the Martians.

The real reason why the criminals want to legalize "reparations" is that they can next classify kickbacks as "reparations," and do everything from that point on without having to bribe the cops with protection money.

You nailed it, Chuck. RW asked me if I was referring to the 1963 film The Victors. I was. A firing squad in every state would be more effective than all the gun laws the bleeding hearts could ever pass. Only 5 of 50 states have them, and last used in 2010.An execution in the largest football stadium in each state, by the National Guard, exclusive TV coverage by the highest bidder, proceeds to the victim(s) family. What's not to like? Take a look at the execution scene-if you're impressed, let your Congressperson know. Some, including a Supreme Court Justice, believe it's more humane. Only 5 minutes. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=the+victors+execution+scene

Notice how nobody ever asked the question: "Why was the VPOTUS so determined to get a local prosecutor in an out-of-the-way country fired?" Has anything like that ever happened before, ANYWHERE? Theoreticaly, of course, it was because Shokin was supposedly corrupt, but if Slow Joe is so worried about corruption, why won't he allow an Inspector General for Ukraine aid?

Perhaps Trump's failures were due to his aim exceeding his grasp? Icarus flying too high? The Swamp is likely far more powerful and extensive than anyone realizes. Maybe if he zeroes his scope on a much smaller target? How about law enforcement? What if his administration's primary goal would be to turn the DOJ and the FBI into honest law enforcement institutions again? If that is an impossible goal, how do we expect to save our nation?

Trump would need Sean Connery, not Bill Barr. We need President Elliot Ness.

Moral relativism has done wonders for Congressional ethics committees. Using backsliding scale to measure how ethical things are instead of *whether* something is ethical makes it so much easier to excuse the "right" people. They will discover God applies a boolean function that demands perfect purity from those with no active faith. But until then, it seems evident they could all use just a little bit more relativism each year.

And if Don's column had been syndicated years ago, our country might not be in as bad a position as we are now. Though maybe it took things getting this bad for the ordinary busy citizen to realize they really need to pay attention.

Just musing, but maybe the Bible parable about the tares and the wheat needing to grow together until the harvest applies. Apparently the historical background on that is that the "tares" look similar enough to the wheat early in their life span, that it was harder to tell them apart. Marxist / poisonous principles are often cloaked in do-good sounding verbiage, fooling alot of people (e.g., Democrats). But what we are seeing now, though, is the unmistakable damage they cause when they are adopted (or permitted).

Hopefully, we will also be able to witness and participate in first "the burning of the tares" and then the "gathering of the wheat into my barn". Awful as things are, maybe the big cleansing is underway, and (please forgive another cliche) "the darkest time is just before the dawn".

A few years ago I read that former Prime Minister of the UK and great Clinton buddy David Cameron's father died. Everyone was astonished to learn that dear old dad - a stock broker in the UK - had a fortune stashed in overseas banks. The fortune, of course, went to David.

No one questioned how Dad became so fabulously wealthy and used banks in the Caribbean to stash his money. They just admired David's good fortune.
