Good move, Mr. Surber!
Agree on abolishing the FBI! I’ve been in favor of burning it all down ever since Waco, Ruby Ridge and OKC. The so-called Patriot Act should be thoroughly reviewed, debated, and perhaps scrapped once the new Congress takes session.
I used to say that the rank and file was good, but the bigwigs were bad. But the rank and file are the ones showing up at pro life granny's house with guns drawn. These rank and filers have a hard choice to make, I get it - but it's time.
1. Congress should create an independent Dept of Justice. The Attorney General in charge would be appointed by a college of the States' Attorneys General.
2. Non-military agencies (IRS, Postal Service, Agriculture, etc) should be banned from having private armies (storm troopers). If federal agencies need SWAT teams they should request support from local law enforcement.
Why not move the Secret Service back to Treasury, from whence they came?
Don, stay safe in WV ;)
FBIsteria: Top 16 Ways to Prevent FBI Raids and Have the FEDs Passover You
- Tell them you are crazy, go full Pedo, dump incriminating Lego sets, have the right look, don't be mean at school board meetings and more ways to prevent FBI raids by having them "Passover" you!
If you immediately take the FBI away from DOJ, DOJ loses its stormtroopers.
Interesting option for them FIBBIEs. Other DC places could use the same kind of sweeping.
Substack is a better forum for you. Free speech for all.
Disturbs me greatly that Google has censored you. Wish we could abolish them too.
Glad you made the jump to substack. I read your blog everyday. In today's world it only makes sense to have an alternative method to be heard.
....and go tribe!
Signed up here because of you Don, bookmarked it too in case Blogger doesn't play nice.
Glad to see you here, Don. For those new to Don Surber, he is one of the best journalists in America. He has a keen sense of humor, knows how to get to the point, and his knowledge of American history in particular is a wonderful thing to see. My only regret is that he doesn't charge for subscriptions to this substack account or his main venue, https://donsurber.blogspot.com/ [end address]. Of course, he must have a very good reason for this.

Welcome to Substack, I'm a religious reader of your blog on the censorship site, will be fine if you move over here where I can comment. I can't over there because I deleted my Google account last year for what I hope are obvious reasons. Be sure to let the dude who runs Citizen Free Press know because he links frequently to your articles.
Good on you, Don. I look forward to your move to Substack.
Keep on, keepin' on, Mr. Surber! My 1st stop for information each morning.
